This is by far the best japanese restaurant you can find in the city. The food is authentic japenese with some korean side dishes since the owner chef is japanese and his wife& co-owner korean. The presentation and taste is very good with an asian service. Both of the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The proce is in a normal range for the food category and quality they serve. Per person (we were 4) we paid about 30€ and overate that night.

I’ve visited many Japanese restaurants in Hannover to find a good sushi place, and this is the right one. Sushi always tastes fresh, Udon and Korean flavoured Kimchi-don taste also very authentic. Portion is really generous as well. Definitely one of my favorite asian places in Hannover!

This place undoubtedly has the best sushi in town. The service is fantastic and the food is outstanding. When you visit and meet your two friendly hosts Young Hee Yi and Tomohiko, you'll understand how Tomo Sushi has become a real Hannover Institution. We'll be back (many more times).

I’ve tried many sushi restaurants in various countries, but i could say here is the best sushi restaurants not only in Hannover. The quality of salmon is incredible and owner is so nice and warm. The atmosphere of restaurants is nice and very clean also. I will definitely visit here again.

Brilliant Sushi and food overall, known to be one of the best in the city. Atmosphere is cosy and very Japanese, the menu is in German or Japanese so I'd recommend you know what you want in one of the two. It seems to be very family ran and the care shows, they do speak a little English and are very kind. THIS IS CASH ONLY. I made this mistake at first, be sure to bring cash! The nearest ATMs are over 700m away.

I really love this place. The food is really great and Kimchi tastes exactly same as I had in South Korea. Be noted that only cash is accepted, and you might wanna make a reservation especially on Fri, Sat because it’s always crowded.

You've never known true hospitality until you've visited Tomoshi. The co-owner is just a lovely lady, her is witty humour puts you right at ease. There's always a funny jab that keeps you and other guests entertained. The menu delicious, the ambience is friendly. Whether you're a first timer or a regular, you'll feel right at home here. I'll definitely come back whenever am in Hannover again

In my opinion, the best sushi restaurant in town. After trying many other sushi places in Hannover, I only come back to Tomo Sushi. Quality of sushi is excellent, and the portion is much more generous than in typical sushi places. There’s also a good selection of Korean dishes, which are tasty and authentic. The menu selection is also wide-ranging and can accommodate those who want something other than sushi (like udon, fried chicken etc.). Friendly owners and servers.

And I was soooo sad when I came to Hannover, because I cannot find delicious sushi in anywhere😔 But I wasted my whole year because I’ve never been here🤦🏻‍♀️ And you know what? You don‘t have to go to Japan, if you want to eat ‘perfect Sushi‘. Do not waste your plane ticket and just come here. Then you can eat amazing sushi!!!!! It‘s super awsome. Then you’re wasting your life. 정말로 솔직하게 말해서 독일 초밥에 너무 실망을 해왔던 터라 동생이 여기 맛있다고 같이 먹으러 가재도 독일 초밥이 거기서 거기지... 하는 생각에 기대 없이 갔었습니다. 그런데 초밥이 나오는 걸 보니 비주얼부터 아 이건 독일 초밥이 아니구나 하는 생각부터 들더군요. 보기에도 진짜다 싶었던 초밥들은 저를 배신하지 않았습니다. 하노버에서 1년 반 살았는데 왜 여기를 이제서야 알았는지 억울한 수준이에요. 정말 맛있습니다. 초밥 먹고싶을때마다 맛없는 초밥 주워먹고 살던 제 1년 반이 보상받는 기분이었어요. 연어부터 참치까지 하나도 빠짐없이 맛있구요, 제가 독일에서, 그것도 하노버에서 제대로 된 단새우를 먹을 수 있으리라고는 생각도 못했습니다. 하노버에서 초밥 드시고 싶으시면 다른데 가서 돈낭비 하지 마시고 여기 가세요. 후회 안하실 겁니다.
