Extremely sweet curry. Indian curries are supposed to be spicy not sweet.

The Tandoori chicken was delicious and the portion size was filling. The lamb vindaloo was also delicious with medium level of heat which is probably a high level of heat for Germans. The naan was ok. A bit softer/fluffier than I am used to, but not bad. Try their delicious mango Lasse. The service is exceptional. They are very kind and welcoming. I would certainly return.

We had a good experience a year ago, so we planned to visit again. But this time it was a dreadful experience. We ordered a veg. sizzler and to our surprise it was served with tofu instead of paneer. On asking they said we should inform them about paneer while placing an order. Now, where in India a sizzler is served with tofu. Also, they are only focused on online orders. They don’t pay much attention to the customers in the restaurant. Even others started complaining about delay in serving food. The ambience is not so great. Never again.

Still wondering why the butter chicken was so sweet! A lot of colour used for tandoori chicken- not sure if it’s healthy. But it tasted good. The Rotis need a mention. Delivered in time (Lieferando). Edit: Tried their Prawns Biryani and Fish curry. Fabulous. They are getting a 4th star from me.

As much as I enjoy the food here, I must say I am not impressed by their delivery times for takeaway. I used the pizza.de app to order 3 curries and a tomato soup. All together, the food took 70 minutes to arrive from the restaurant to Frankfurt West. Using the app, the Food Tracker was at 0 mins and the food would arrive but it did not. This was after waiting 45 minutes. I waited So I rang the restaurant and they said it would take 10-15 minutes. The food arrived 25 minutes after the call. Also, my friend who had the chicken jalfrezi said the chicken was tough, dry and overcooked. Basically the food is fine and if you want spice, this is the place. However if you are hungry and do not wish to wait a long time, then don’t order from here.

Food aside, what I really do like about Lumbini is the team. They are more than happy to offer off-menu items (such as a vegan variant of a dish) and very friendly. You can only leave with a smile.

Very nice ambience and fantastic service. Hosts are very generous . Will visit again. Good to see our expatriates are doing well.

Simple location, food tasty. Tikka Masala a little on the sweet side for my taste. Would not find a reason to not go to the Curry King not far away but stand alone a good choice. Friendly service.

We’ve always loved the food we would get on Lieferando, so we decided to finally walk here and really enjoyed the food. You get some complimentary flatbread with some dipping sauces before the food comes out. Very small dining area that seats less than 20 people. When the weather is nice there’s outside seating. Great service, great prices, and great food. Will definitely keep getting our Indian food from them.

The food was divine! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and the personnel here! I strongly recommend this place if you are interested in Indian or Nepalese cuisine. It’s small, so I would encourage you to make a reservation before heading here.

I have been ordering regularly. I would rate 3.5 to be precise. Taste is good. When I ordered today, food was completely salty..

Flavour: quantity: price has no relationship. Ambience is okay, location is nice. That's all. No south India delicacy available.

I have tried almost all the Indian Restaurants in Frankfurt. Unfortunately I found this Restaurant’s food as worst. I was confused as i was eating Chicken tandoori or a red food colour ball mixed with some flour. I have also ordered Chicken Briyani and a chicken curry which were just with excess use of red food colour almost like without salt. Maybe they added red food colour instead of salt. Also Cheese Naan was burned. I am assure you that i will cook more tasty then this. Everything went on dustbin 😒😒 RECOMMENDATION: please try something else.
