The best hair salon I’ve gone to in the Bay Area! The staff here are always so kind and accommodating. Kaitlyn is truly an expert at her craft — if you’re looking to change your hair color, please ask for her! She uses nothing but the best products and techniques, leaving your hair feeling its healthiest while looking its best :)

I highly recommend GreatKuts!! Kaitlyn and Gigi were super super sweet! I called the day before I needed to get my hair done and I was worried they wouldn't have availability, but they did! I brought in a reference photo to show them. I got a balayage, layers, and I brought my own color in (which they put on for me for a small fee!). They styled my hair afterwards too! I was in there for ~6 hours since my black hair needed to process with the bleach, and I brought a little snack to eat! I had never dyed my hair before, and they explained to me the process and what to expect. They were super sweet and did AMAZING work on my hair! The color I brought in wasn’t as dark as the color in the photo, and so they even mixed in some of their own dye to add dimension! I’m super pleased with the result :​).

Was super super happy with my experience here, especially with Katelin. I had stopped by a few days before just passing by and had some questions. They were super helpful and brought out color choices and so on. Spent a good 4 hours the day of my appt. with them. They were funny, friendly, professional and even bought be a Veggie wrap while I was waiting. Nice way to spend my Sat. Will be back for sure! And I love my red hair with purple highlights. I've already had so many compliments!

For anyone wanting to change their hair colour or get a new hairdo, I would really recommend Greatkuts! Kaitlyn goes above and beyond to do your hair right, and she and her staff provide the best customer service I've ever experienced. They really go all out to try to make you as happy as possible, to give you the best results, and to keep your hair looking and feeling healthy. I am so incredibly happy with my new hair colour. I currently live in San Diego but Greatkuts for sure will always be my top choice and recommendation for a new do! 10/10 would recommend, I don't think I trust anyplace else, honestly.

Kaitlin is AMAZING!!! Found this place on a whim and was able to schedule the day before for a transformational cut for my child. Kaitlin nailed the inverted bob and also the partial highlights to accentuate. While color was settling, I was also able to see how talented Kaitlin was with her men’s haircuts. She executed each one with precision and everyone left so pleased with their cut. Do not hesitate! Kaitlin is an absolute gem at GreatKutz. Reasonable prices, great location, friendly staff and warm environment. Will definitely be back again!

Kaitlyn did a great job with my daughters hair! She took a lot pf time to wash out and brush the tangles and listen to what she wanted. It was also right before closing when we arrived and Kaitlyn made time for us. Really appreciate this job well done at a great price!
