Fantastic restaurant! A proper Indian restaurant, however a class better than any other excellent Indian restaurant in Berlin Amazing food, great atmosphere and excellent service. During the dinner, after our main dish has already arrived, we additionally ordered salad to go with the food. It was delivered within minutes! And it was an excellent mixed salad. The service was the best service we ever had, EVER! I don’t know if any waiter ever took such a good care of us. Just fantastic! Food was delicious, recognisable Indian but still very original. We had one chicken and one land dish. They were both excellent, but the lamb was especially soft and delicious. Amazing restaurant, I can’t name a single thing about it that we didn’t like. We are definitely coming back

Dalchini is situated in a very cozy neighborhood very close to a S-Bahn (so it's easy to get to) and has a very simple but nice terrace. The bar and space inside also had some beautiful decorations. You get free Papadum with sauces as an appetizer and as I tasted them I was already impressed. We ordered the Chana dishes with some Naanbread and they came with rice. They both were amazing, the Chana Masala had a very rich and fresh taste and the Palak Chana is a bit more mild but still super delicious. The portions were more than enough for me and my mom, we were actually super full afterwards. My belly is still processing the food haha. The staff all seemed friendly and are prepared to give you lots of details about the food. One of the waiters was a bit awkward but it also was kinda cute, so no real complaints there. The prices are affordable enough!

The service and food is perfect ! The dishes are delicate, flavourful and authentic, you can even find Peshwari Naan there ! The portions are generous and we easily have extra to bring home when we come here. They have very welcoming staff and love to add caring supplements such as desserts and schnapps. A truly nice atmosphere. Thank you !

Has a great outdoor dining area. The staff was great, attentive and kind. My family enjoyed the food. The spicy curry with tiger shrimp was our favorite. It was called something like Jingaa laa… can’t remember the exact name

The food has a lot of liquid with lots of spices rather than ingredients. It is like eating rice and sauce with a little bit ingredients. And it is quite more expensive than other Indian restaurants, which actually taste better. I don’t understand what the other people who reviewed this place liked in it.

Definitely one of the best indian restaurant I've been in Germany so far. Not only the food was well prepared and served, all staffs were really friendly and welcoming. Plus the ambience of the restaurant is really warm and cozy. Price point is also pretty fair for this excellent experience. I could only recommend it ;)

We were three ladies having dinner and we were all three surprised by the excellent quality. The taste of the sauces were different to other Indian restaurants and also the meat used were of a good quality. The service was quick and very friendly and our waitress spoke a little bit of Spanish. We recommend highly this restaurant

The names obviously sound like popular characters from India like Brett Lee, or Bryan Lara who are cricketers(there is also a James Bond in the review). The negative reviews seem to be malicious. Now to come to the review. This is your standard Indian Restaurant in Berlin. As close as it comes to Indian food(but at times not enough) I have had food twice here and it was both tasty and clean. The staff is very polite and the ambience was excellent. The food was pretty tasty. My only wish would be to have home delivery from them which is not possible even though I am less than 600 metres away :)

What a wonderful experience! Apart from the fact that the food tasted exceptional, the service was also amazing and the food ranged from all regions of India. They were very accomodating to our party of ten, professional, polite and friendly. Furthermore, the fact that life is finally returning to normal and that we could experience it together here was such a treat! I will definitely be coming back!

Genuinely nice staff and really delicious food! I was here with a group of six, so we often needed a bit more time to figure out what we wanted and someone always had a question for the waiter. Throughout the entire night, our waiters showed a lot of patience, answered all questions thoroughly + honestly and would joke with us (or even tease some of us :D). Even if the food were ok, I'd still want to come back because the atmosphere was just lovely. But, of course, the food was amazing and served without long waiting periods. All sauces were spiced really well, fullllll of flavor, and their bhatura (my personal favorite) was delicious. There was one dessert dish we waited a while on, but once we asked the waiter, he talked to the kitchen staff and it was brought out promptly. This shows that the staff is able to address issues (no matter how small) gracefully and remain approachable without any defensiveness, if a mistake is made. Which, for me, is a really valuable quality and a mark of a well-run establishment. Mistakes can happen and how a restaurant handles them speaks volumes. I have no complaints, at all. This is definitely a great restaurant run by kind people, who love what they do. If you decide to come here for a meal, you're going to have a lovely time.

For Brits who yearn for great Indian food, this is the place to visit. Everything is super tasty, full of flavour and very easy on the wallet. Enjoy....I did :-)
