It is private shop/facility and is not linked with the nearby Botanical Garden. Entrance is free of charge and you may walk in and enjoy a tour of what they sell like it was a small museum. The Cafè though not cheap is quite adorable. Fountain and toilets opposite the Cafè.

A perfect location for Sunday brunch. This location is really a hidden gem, feels like visiting the royal family. Gorgeous garden, beautiful greenhouse, quite crowded on a sunday with nice weather. The price for the brunch is higher than most of the other locations but the food is value for money. Everyone will find something delicious. There is only a pick of fruits and one dessert available. But in that moment when you see the offered cakes, you are definitely tempted! Take a walk through the beutiful garden and enjoy.

A gem for nature lovers. The place is a restaurant/cafe and a garden center with a very luscious selection of plants. Great food but super busy so make sure to reserve a table in advance.

I visited the Christmas exhibition with my mother and grandparents and ee all loved it. Prices were on the expensive side, but everything was gorgeous. We spent an hour enjoying a coffee and the lovely scenery.

Be aware/pay attention that price on the pot isn't about plant price but pot price. I was confused when actual price for small olive tree was 60 Euro. Unfortunately I figured out it too late (plant price was inside the pot). It is very unfortunate that the store uses such methods that inattentive customers overpay at the checkout

Beautiful cafe! Nice garden~ But difficult to get a seat. You'd better to make appointment before, if you want to have breakfast or cafe there.

One of my favourite secret (not so secret) garden/nurcery/cafe spots in Berlin. Highly tasteful exterior and interior deco combined with delicious dishes and cake to die for.... Make sure you safe up a bit of pocket money before hand cse its a little more pricy. Worth it though!

Great place for coffee/brunch, as well as window shopping for plants and accessories.

Nice location, just off the botanic garden in Steglitz. Busy place on a Sunday. We went for afternoon tea on this occasion. The sandwiches are dry and boring, cake is ok but the scones are the highlight of the event. Lovely flavour and texture just as in the UK. Shame people in Berlin don’t really dress up for a good piece of cake anymore. The place could do with a lift up on the interior which can easily be done with fabric and good lighting. However a good place for a decent piece of cake.

Cafe is great. They used to have a brunch buffet but sadly no longer.

A very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon and not for the first time. My friend and I have often visited the Gartenakademie and I would recommend it to almost everyone. Sincerely Ben 😊
