A fabulous day out, especially in late spring, when so many flowers are in bloom. The park is very extensive, with lots of different attractions for all ages. You could easily spend all day in here. The individual "gardens of the world" are each special in their own way, and the cable car ride gives a unique view of the park as a whole and the public park next to it. Well worth the entrance price. The whole park has been created with a lot of love and extreme attention to detail.

I guess it is always worth a visit to escape the city and see some green but way more worth visiting in spring or summer when everything blooms. Also some areas were closed where I assume that it is being prepared for the high season. Cable car wasn't running either when I was there.

Sehr empfehlenswert

One of the best things to do in Berlin. A must go. It's beautiful, relaxing, open and diverse. Be there as early as possible and include the cable car on your ticket. Grade A+. 10/10. 5 STARS. There are relaxing chairs all over the park. Not too many, but you can make us of them for relaxing under the trees. Take CASH with you. In Germany they don't like payment with card. Don't ruin your mood because you can't buy water. Download the digital map as a PDF from their website. Don't forget the masks when you are in closed spaces. Take a time to enjoy a Chinese tea at the Chinese garden. Take sunscreen with you. Take a powerbank with you so you can take a lot of pictures and not run out of power. Don't forget to take a bottle of water with you, otherwise you will be more than happy to pay 3 euros for one when you find one of a few kiosks. Really, be there as early as possible. There is an Italian restaurant near the main entrance. Try different angles and perspectives. It's really time saving you make a route and stick to it. Otherwise you will spend the whole day there and miss very cool stuff. My favorite: Korea, China, Japan, South Africa and Brazil. Fun tip: Try the labyrinth and make use of the observatory in the center of it. It will be your reward. Super fun. Technical tip: If you are using your phone to present your digital ticket with QR codes. Make sure the qr code don't have any interference, like scroll bars or other interface elements that blocks the code, otherwise you will have a hard time entering the attractions.

Great place for family. It’s spacious with different amusements. Water park, water playground, playground and gondola are really enjoyable. We had a great day today and we didn’t even explore the whole park. We will definitely visit again.

We loved our stay here! It felt like we visited so many countries within one stay. We visited late September and I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the summer. However it was still nice time to visit. We took 3hours to see everything. Maybe during a hot day it is too tiring. We enjoyed some delicious Chinese tea. Would recommend packing some snacks and make a picnic there. For 7€ (we weren’t interested in the cable) it was definitely worth visiting!

This place is the perfect destination if you wish to explore representation of some of the best gardens in the world all in the same place. The best time to visit is the summers, as they close down some gardens during the winters. I would suggest entering the place from the Sud entrance, or taking the Ropeway to go directly to the garden. The Ropeway is quite inexpensive and is totally worth it. You can enjoy a very wholesome view of the Berlin skyline from the cable-car. There are about 7 small international gardens followed by 11 big gardens from different parts of the world. Apart from the gardens, there is a labyrinth (maze), water garden and few different fun activities. I would suggest to spend around 5-6 hours (at least) to enjoy the place to the fullest, spend some more time if it's sunny. The place has many different cafes and restaurants catering various cuisines and there is ample space to enjoy home packed meals too.

A beautiful place to go. Due to corona, the aerial cable car is out of service and the Balinese jungle is closed. Most of the gardens are lovely, some, unfortunately, are a bit unkempt. Highlights are the Japanese Garden, the Oriental Garden, the Chinese buildings and gardens around the lake and the mirrored installation.

Amazing place to spend a whole day. Orientalist and Asian parks are exceptionally pretty. I would recommend that you take some food with you as the buffets have long queues in front of them. It is also possible to have a picnic. I highly recommend Gärten der Welt to everybody.

Overall it's really pretty but it's definitely not made for people with low stamina😅 Me and my sister were here for around 5 hours and we still weren't able to explore every single there was, not to mention that we were absolutely exhausted by the end. If you're going here definitely bring enough time and provisions because you're going to need it. Also you shouldn't rush through it and take your time to explore everything, maybe take a break in one of the gardens and appreciate the beauty. What I did notice is that it doesn't feel like it's being kept up as much as it should and in one of the gardens there were some flower pots that were pushed over for who knows how long. Otherwise I had a pretty good experience and the price is very acceptable for what it is. Also definitely come here on a sunny day, it makes it a way better experience in my opinion!!

It’s a huge park with different themes of garden. I personally enjoyed the Chinese Garden the most! A lot of cafes inside the park are closed. I can imagine the vibe would be really nice when everything is opened! I recommend buying the bundle ticket so that you can also take the cable car. You can definitely spend half a day here.

It was good, but I wouldn’t call it amazing. They have a cable car option which allows you to have an aerial view of all the gardens, but unfortunately it’s closed during the winters. My personal favourites were the water gardens - Chinese and the oriental one. Apart from that the place is very well maintained and is very serene

A little further away from the city centre but definitely a must visit. They have Japanese, English, Chinese, … gardens. In summer you can stroll around the park and enjoy a little break on the sun loungers. Different options to get a drink or eat something. On some days they have a life band/performance on the stage at the entrance.

This garden is truly enchanting. Be sure to visit during warm weather to witness all the gardens in their full, vibrant bloom. Using the cable car offers a unique perspective of the gardens, allowing you to enjoy a distinctive view from above.

Rope road was so confusing, still don’t get why it is sold together with the ticket to the gardens…. The final stop of the road is outside the gardens, why do I even need it??? The gardens themselves are very small but very cute. Would return here in autumn and in spring to see all the colours of the gardens. The Korean garden is amazing!!

(Translated by Google) There is something for young and old. Very clean and well designed themed gardens. Unfortunately not all gardens are open because of "c". Dogs are not allowed. Which I, myself a dog owner, don't find so bad. Because who wants the children to play in dog poop?

The place also offer a cable car experience over the park which was amazing. The entrance fees is 10 euro for adults including cable car which is very reasonable

A nice recreation area with beautiful traditional gardens and quite a few contemporary parts. If you didn't have cash for the entry, it was possible to buy tickets online (on your phone) at the entrance, it works surprisingly well! There is a garden map on the website, but you get a printed one at the entrance when you buy tickets there. Helpful people with information are all around the gardens.

Beautiful park, lots of gardens from around the world plus some art installations. There are a couple of kids play areas as well. The best time to visit is around spring, we found that during the really hot days it is quite hard to get around with the kids as there are little shaded areas. Food is average but this tends to be the case in most of the parks.

A bit disappointing in winter because everything is disabled and turned off, there are no plants or flowers where they should usually be, even winter plants. Korean and Japanese gardens were closed but they didn't display it anywhere. Otherwise it's great, lot of stuff to see and it's nice to walk around.

One of the beautiful garden in Berlin. It's located on the east of Berlin in Marzahn. The entrance fee is 7 euro. They have e.g Bali's garden, Japan's garden, China's garden. They have several entrance and if you come with the kids and wanna play, it's better to take the main entrance and bring some extra cloths. On April usually there is Sakura flower festival, when the visitors can come with Kimono dress and take the picture among the Sakura's tree... Hmm.. there are so much words to describe and all are very nice. If you wanna go there make sure from the earlier time so you can enjoy all of them..

Amazing place showing different styles of garden all over the world. There is also a exhibition going on: Berlin bears with drawing of all nations, which are really interesting to check out. Also you should check in advance the schedule for cable car. We bought the ticket including cable car but then it doesn’t run on that day.

This park is truly a gem, with ample space to spend an entire day exploring all it has to offer. From walking paths and picnic areas to playgrounds and sports facilities, there's something for everyone here. However, it's worth noting that the water park section is only open during the summer months, so plan your visit accordingly if you're looking to take advantage of that particular attraction. Even without the water park, though, there's plenty to keep visitors of all ages entertained, and the park's lush greenery and beautiful landscaping make it a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. So pack a picnic, lace up your walking shoes, and head to this wonderful park for a day of fun, relaxation, and exploration.

Tourist trap. There's a level of fakeness and derision to this place. It's unsettling. I genuinely enjoyed the cultural collaborations between Japan, Korea, China, Islamic architects and Germany. Most of which were donated and we're charged for the entrance, but things are falling apart, parts closed, etc. That being said, there's no art to Jewish gardening, like there's no reference or cultural knowledge of South African culture. The American garden was an actual parking with American cars and fake palm trees, referencing California and some green grass. The south African garden specifically was empty, felt like a joke. Still one can make decent photos and enjoy the sun. It's big and the tiny "cultural" parts are to be revised. Don't take the extra costly ticket to go up, it's senseless. Too many people, majority bumping into one another. Good for fresh air and walking but yes, will not come again. The botanical garden is scientifically well founded and cheaper!

It was ok, though rather underwhelming for a botanic garden. In general, I was amazed by the poor upkeep given how many visitors were there on a Sunday afternoon, especially with the admission fees being as high as they were. The international garden exhibits seriously needed some attention. Weeds growing up between paving stones on the paths, as well as in the flower beds. Unimaginative and overgrown layouts. Generally, having entered from the main gate on the northwestern side, these were the first gardens we visited and left a bad taste for the remainder. The themed gardens were better kept. The Chinese garden was generally in good shape, and the tea house was a place to stop for a snack, even if the service was very slow. The Japanese garden was probably the best maintained and prettiest. The Korean garden's structures looked like they could use some upkeep. Finally, the Gardens were setting up for a concert on-site. Signage to navigate around the closure was poor, and a number of visitors got thoroughly lost trying to get back to the entrance.

The overall experience was great, and the gardens were beautifully landscaped, providing a sense of serenity. While most of the gardens were impeccably maintained, I did notice some unkraut in certain areas. However, this minor flaw didn't diminish the overall enjoyment, and I found the price of admission to be well worth it. It's a wonderful place to escape and appreciate the diverse array of gardens on display.

Definitely RECOMMEND!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️ One could spend a WHOLE DAY exploring different gardens ! PLUS, if you BRING a mat you could chill (do picnic) at different spots as well 🥰 There are few KIOSKS along the way for grabbing something to EAT! 😋 WC was FREE and clean 👍🏻 Playgrounds for CHILDREN are there as well 🤩 I wish for SOME gardens they could do a little BIT MORE 🙁, MAYBE it was work in progress when we went 😉 For those who likes to WALK a lot it’s gonna be one of a nice EXPERIENCE worth the money 💴!!

We went in mid July and the following parts were closed: maze, oriental garden, balinese garden, and the Jewish garden comes in 2021. The remaining ones were ok but nothing spectacular, and it was shameful that they didn't reduce prices with so much closed. It's really just a place to take kids when you need somewhere to go and let them in the water playground etc

The garden is huge and is well taken care of! Plants are beautiful and so many beautiful flowers. The different gardens are really nice but some do have an artificial look. It can get a bit full in the summer. There are many big open green areas where you can picnic or place frisbee etc. There are multiple food places available as well that are delicious but a bit pricey.

Far away from the city hustle, fun rope way ride to the top, a panoramic view and beautiful laid down theme garden's from the different parts of the world. Well spread out for a well day spent ,with cafes and eating spots around to relax and rewind with your loved ones. And for all you photo enthusiast, you won't be disappointed 😊.

A far-reached park located almost 20km away from Berlin Mitte, but definitely worth visiting. It has a lot small garden themed from various parts of the world. With an entrance ticket ~10€ you get an return ride to the cable car. Garden has so many green space for lying down and playing, also multiple areas for children. Last but not least also there are restaurants and cafes, and free WC. Totally recommend for a half day or full day day out.

Such a beautiful place. You will need a whole day to see the place. Adults 7 euro but Pay 9,90 euro, this includes cable car ride. It’s the worth the ride.

  • 4/5 Callum C. 3 years ago on Google
It’s a pretty nice day out and the gondola is a neat thing to do. A lot of the gardens are cute but quite ‘novelty’ in the sense that they feel a bit like theatre sets at some point. I think it was in the Korean garden it really spoils the experience to see straight through a metal fence to a car park... like surely a nice wee bush could fix that.

  • 5/5 Klaus B. 3 years ago on Google
Loved it a lot, a true oasis of a park in Berlin, serenity, peace, tranquility and harmony, regardless which garden of which country you visit, with one exception. The USA garden, a true parody of LA, not representing the true beauty of the US national parks and the freedom of it. All good. Take the bob sled for a ride, eat sn ice-cream along the way, or a curry/bratwurst or even a veggie spinach dish at the english garden. Leave the apples out of reach (lol) on the apple trees. The architecture of each and every buiding is well thought out, especially at rhe Wolkenhain Aussichtspunkt. Thecfirms, lines, shadows, fantastic! ( to be reached by chair lift ,Seilbahn). The kids will have guaranteed fun at the waterpark. A great destination for couples, families, singles, anyone who wants to enjoy peace. Many families had cultivated dinners/picnics at tables around the oark. Once again whatca joy to enjoy!

This is a nice area to take a walk and see some different ideas of how to make your own gardens, but don't expect so many exotic plants from all over because the climate isn't the best for all the different species. It is quite nice just to walk around and think. It's quite large that even takes a gondola to get to the other side.

(Translated by Google) Visiting the garden in January may not be the best idea, but you have to get out. Children in particular need exercise and variety even in times of lockdown. Our big one really wanted to "Gardens of the World" and we had no better idea. So off in the car. Once there, we easily found a parking space. The parking spaces were free. I cannot say whether these are only free in winter. The entrance fee was very moderate: € 4 for adults and € 2 for schoolchildren. Small children come in for free. Maybe these are the prices in winter. However, many theme gardens were closed due to winter. The kiosks were closed due to the corona, but the toilets were warm and clean. Unfortunately, the cable car didn't run either. The playground with the big wall is awesome and my boys had a lot of fun. All in all, a successful excursion. I can give four stars here. Also ab in Auto.

Wonderful place to visit and tons of beautiful gardens to enjoy, with the exception of the USA garden. Not really sure what they were thinking, feels like a sick joke to put a parking lot in place and say this is what the gardens in America look like 😕 I would have expected more, I mean a German garden isn't just beer benches and bratwursts 🤷‍♂️

They close several gardens during winter period, including the Japanese garden. It was a shame because we traveled all the way here for that specifically. We were charged 8euros flr an entrance for 2 people. Nevertheless, the time travelled and the entrance fee was worth it. We both enjoyed and easily spent 4 hours walking around the huge place. Would love to come back when everything is open.

„Welcome to our super clean restaurant in the Gärten der Welt!“ the photos are taken today, 08.03.2022. In addition to such “cleanness”: the toilets are out of service in the restaurant, the Seilbahn is not working at some periods of time then working again, many of the gardens are not open till the end of March, the pools around the Chinese garden are almost dry, huge queues everywhere: at the entrance, to the cafes. The whole place looks not cared about properly.

This park is great value and a really nice, relaxed place to spend a day. It’s worth paying the few euros extra for the cable car and walking down from the viewing platform on the hill, too. I think my favourite place was the Chinese tea house.

Nice place with many gardens and beautiful nature. However, we arrived there around 5 PM and some coffee places were already closed, so we could not have a coffee and when we finally walked to the cable cars around 6:20, they were already closed. Very disappointing, since we paid extra for this in our ticket and it was not mentioned in the ticket that the cable cars close at 6 PM. Otherwise I’d recommend to visit this place (perhaps rather early afternoon).

Beautiful garden - perfect to spend a sunny day. i recommend bringing some food and having a picnic or read a book. In the park there is a lot of banches, in the shadow and in the sun. You can spot a lot of animals. There is an amazing tea house in the area of Chinese garden - they serve delicious teas that you can drink under an umbrella by the lake. I've spent in the park 3.5hours and it was not enough!

A very big and spacious park, full of greenery and consists of many beautiful gardens based on internationational themes from different countries. The park has something to offer for all ages, families with kids will enjoy a lot here. It is especially beautiful in spring and summer with so many flowers blooming. We enjoyed the maze and the cable cars and the flower gardens a lot. There is also a restaurant where you can order pizza, pasta, coffee and juice etc. Good for 1-day trip. Overall a very nice experience.

Beautiful and big park. Perfect for a weekend day trip or a picnic. Different themed mini parks with flora from different countries like Korea, Japan, Bali etc. Can buy the tickets online beforehand. Free parking onsite. There are multiple parking lots on different entrances. There is also a cable car(needs separate ticket) to get to a small hill across the park. Also yearly ticket available.

This was a really lovely garden . Taking the cable car to get there was fun and I only wish I could visit in summer to see all the gardens in full bloom especially the English herbaceous border which will be beautiful. Had lunch at the restaurant and it was great too . A perfect day out in spite of the cold day.

The sailbahn was out of order because of the cold but otherwise it was still really pretty! There weren't so many flowers blooming and some of the gardens where closed for the winter. So I would definitely recommend going there when it's warmer! In summer they also have a water park wich is really nice!
