It
was
ok,
though
rather
underwhelming
for
a
botanic
garden.
In
general,
I
was
amazed
by
the
poor
upkeep
given
how
many
visitors
were
there
on
a
Sunday
afternoon,
especially
with
the
admission
fees
being
as
high
as
they
were.
The
international
garden
exhibits
seriously
needed
some
attention.
Weeds
growing
up
between
paving
stones
on
the
paths,
as
well
as
in
the
flower
beds.
Unimaginative
and
overgrown
layouts.
Generally,
having
entered
from
the
main
gate
on
the
northwestern
side,
these
were
the
first
gardens
we
visited
and
left
a
bad
taste
for
the
remainder.
The
themed
gardens
were
better
kept.
The
Chinese
garden
was
generally
in
good
shape,
and
the
tea
house
was
a
place
to
stop
for
a
snack,
even
if
the
service
was
very
slow.
The
Japanese
garden
was
probably
the
best
maintained
and
prettiest.
The
Korean
garden's
structures
looked
like
they
could
use
some
upkeep.
Finally,
the
Gardens
were
setting
up
for
a
concert
on-site.
Signage
to
navigate
around
the
closure
was
poor,
and
a
number
of
visitors
got
thoroughly
lost
trying
to
get
back
to
the
entrance.
