Beautiful garden! Great to walk around and admire the castle. We went during the weekday and it was not crowded. Quiet and relaxing overall. Love the flowers in the garden in front of the palace. Also enjoyed exploring the rest of the area through the different paths. I’d definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

It’s nice to hang in there alone or with friends, or go for a photo session, or just for a stroll. Also it has nice designs and architecture of bridges, paths, the royal palace and garden. Park has many benches. Btw, there is a public toilet not so far from the west exit across the road.

The palace at Charlottenburg is definitely worth the admission fee. It's an incredible building with so much history. We also visited the mausoleum in the grounds which was incredible. The grounds and gardens are beautiful but it's worth noting that these can be entered for free.

One of the nicest parks in Berlin and one of the nicest, mainly English Garden style Schlossparks (Castle parks) in Europe. Wether you are in the mood for a nice walk, beautiful run or just want to relax on a meadow or hide away in a hidden forest, this park offers the right setting. Its good for families to hang out together, celebrate a birthday in the park, throw frisbees around or for kids to feed the dozens of wild duck varieties. It's particularly beautiful in the spring and autumn, however, I also love it in the winter when it's covered in snow. The castle itself makes for great photo shootings, however, is not as impressive as others in Europe. There is a cafe and restrooms available in the Orangerie. The park is open until sometime after sunset and entry is free.

The original and restored sections offer a great glimpse into royal Prussian life. The church section and the ballroom are the highlights of the palace. The new section had really awesome exhibits and displays from Prussian history. The gardens and mausoleum were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The staff and security were really friendly and helpful. This is a must visit place on your Berlin trip.

Beautiful Christmas Market, great light show on the Palace. Great of choices of foods, carousels, and awesome mulled wine. The crepes were also very tasty, absolutely worth the price, and the Lángos was really like a proper Hungarian one. Best Christmas Market I've even been in my life! Highly recommended +++++++

There are multiple points of interest, look for the information notice boards at the entrance on the gardens for pointers where they are. I'd give at least 3 hours for a good meander though the gardens, longer if you want to practice your photography. A truly splendid way to spend a morning. I'll be going back to visit the palace interiors.

My favorite is the tiny Luiseninsel island. It's quiet there and the benches are facing the sun. Overall a very nice park to relax and get fresh air away from the busy streets.
