I stayed here a couple months ago in February. They did a great job keeping Covid protocol, kept the room very clean. It was a comfortable stay, and honestly the room was very big compared to other rooms I've stayed in at the same or even higher price.

There is no-one at the reception after a specific time. The first night at the Hotel I had to ring the bell and someone answered and opened the door for me, just as they had told us at the reception when we checked in. You can also open the central door with the room key, but they only gave us one, which was inside the room with my roommate when I arrived at the hotel tonight. My phone was dead so I would have to ring the bell, and then knock on the room door for my roommate to open. Tonight I started ringing the bell of the central door at around 1:00 am and after 20 minutes of me ringing the bell, no-one answered, so I gave up and I had to walk a couple kilometers in a city that I don’t know to go and sleep at a friends couch, because someone was sleeping during their night shift. Simply awesome!!! A very good, pleasant, friendly and always accommodating accommodation!!! Of course, if you really wanted to and were really looking for a needle in a haystack, you could improve one or two things or perhaps freshen up with some cosmetics, but clean, friendly, lovely breakfast buffet and just great for this capital but it is often ugly and gray😉 If the standard stays like this we will keep coming back and can only ever report good things! Dear team, stay like this, hold on, we are on your side!

We stayed in room 604. The room was very nice with everything we needed. It was very clean and was properly cleaned each day. We were not annoyed by outside noise. The breakfast was great. Nice selection which changed a little bit every day. The staff were very kind and always ready to help. Only 2 downsides (both related to it being August) to the visit was the heat in our room. It got very hot and it was difficult to cool it down again. And the second downside was the wasps which constantly flew to and from the meat at the breakfast buffet. However we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Delicious breakfast, great location very close to the zoo and the U2 ubahn line. Very clean, has convenient parking and lovely staff. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. One downside would be the elevator which doesn't reach the main floors and stops on mezzanines. Wheelchair users and elderly might struggle, as you need to go up/down a flight of stairs to reach your room.

Very nice hotel. Cozy clean rooms. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. A good bonus is that from 2pm they offer you free tea with sandwiches, fruits and sweets. Make sure that you get a room facing the courtyard and not the street, because the window frames are old and you can hear everything on the street even when windows are closed. Parking outside is cheaper than in the hotel, though a problem to find.

Very nice hotel, the breakfast was absolutely great. I would be happy to come back. The WiFi was okay, so you can still work in the evening, which is something some people can learn from

I love it so much. I want to go again. The morning view after eating breakfast and going out to the terrace is so beautiful. It's an unforgettable moment that I want to experience again and go back to.

Good Hotel it's designed was beautiful but the only bad thing is the heat in your room if you go there during summer but I would still recommend it

Very nice large room, great view, very friendly staff, clean, very well located, fantastic breakfast, even gluten free selection of bread, rolls and cereals! Free water for the room as much as you want. Highly recommended even now in Corona times.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not recommended in summer if you can't cope well with high temperatures, as there is unfortunately no air conditioning. The rooms were otherwise attractively furnished and clean. I liked the breakfast best, especially sitting outside on the terrace was very nice. Otherwise, the service at breakfast and the breakfast was very good.

Super nice hotel. The room was nicely furnished, the staff was super friendly. They specially gave my daughter a cake for breakfast. The breakfast selection was huge, healthy and from local vendors. Unfortunately there is no dinner in the hotel, but there are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity so this is not a disadvantage. Can really recommend it.

Great hotel in a good location, easy enough to get to wherever you needed to be and the area itself has lots of nice restaurants and bars nearby. Room was very clean and a good size and the staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms also have an interactive tablet with local information (restaurants, things to see in the area), a chat window with reception and can book a taxi through it which was really useful. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return in the future!

Stayed at the Hotel Otto for the third time and as always, it was a great stay. The rooms are nice size and very comfortable. The location is great. We drove each time, and they have a nice parking lot in back. The staff is helpful, the breakfast is varied, fresh and delicious and the all day beverages is a nice touch as well. The only reason i'm not rating it five stars is no air conditioning, which can be a bit problematic on hot days!

Beautiful hotel, very clean. We arrived extremely early (10a arrival for 2pm check in) and they stowed our bags and invited us to relax in the hotel lounge where we were given access to free food, drink (including champagne) while we waited. They told us an hour, but staff came for us sooner. Our family suite was huge and clean and beautiful. The patio faced the main street and had a gorgeous view. Breakfast was included and the staff woman in the lounge was attentive, friendly and responded to our request with a smile. The bathroom was roomy and up to date. We loved Berlin and enjoyed every bit of our stay at Hotel Otto. Worth every penny!! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Hotel Otto for five days and it was such an incredible hotel. You must have the breakfast because the buffet is incredible and all of the options are fantastic. I honestly didn't know what to eat first. What I really loved about Hotel Otto specifically was how the hotel knows exactly what a traveler needs. There was an endless supply of water for all guests, which was extremely helpful and obviously cost effective when it comes to buying bottled water in Europe. The room was excited with a blowdryer, a shoe polisher, manicure accessories & feminine products. All super helpful items needed in the heat of the moment. The staff was incredibly kind and so helpful, there was never an instance when a staff member walked by without smiling and asking if we needed anything. The room itself was gorgeous. We were on the first floor and had an incredible view of the street and all the buildings outside, and our patio door opened up which was really nice. Everything was clean and enjoyable, and the room itself is so incredibly cute and boutique like. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin, especially if you would like a comfortable, small boutique hotel feel. This was such an excellent stay!

My wife & I enjoyed our stay so much. Your staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was perfect, with excellent transportation connections; we found the neighborhood to be quiet, with interesting shops and restaurants. Our favorites were your daily breakfasts and afternoon snacks...they were fabulous. You are to be commended also for the overall cleanliness of the premises. We would not hesitate to make Hotel Otto our destination should we return to Berlin again.

It was a very lovely stay. My better half and myself stayed at the hotel for 3 days and had breakfast included! The room was warm and open, had everything we needed. The morning buffet was indeed very lovely, fresh fruits, pancakes, juices, warm servering, almost everything the heart could desire. The afternoon tea and cakes was a fantastic thing to enjoy on the rooftop! A friendly and open staff was the cherry on top. All-in-all, a very wonderful stay! Will definitely return one day again.
