HOWEVER, there is no safety for clients that (outside opening hours of the restaurant) have to access the gym using some stairs that are open to the public and are populated by subjects that, for instance, use the stairs as place to take drugs.I had unfortunately today a very bad experience and was harassed while waiting for the elevator. Thankfully, another gym member was there with me. Safety should definitely be a priority.

Straight forward no frills gym on top floor of Karstadt at hermanplatz. Hast a nice open area for functional training and TRX workouts. Also have a large roof terrace with some nice views, should be great in the summer time!

The gym itself is nice and the staff are kind but be careful when signing up for anything and make sure to read the contract fully. During covid, I was informed I had an additional free 6 months on my contract because the gym was closed (and I had signed up for a year's membership a few months before Covid hit). This was during the second wave so naturally, I did not go to the gym and it became the last thing on my mind. I was then charged an additional 6 months and after trying to discuss my case with them I decided the best thing was to cancel my membership. However my official cancellation letter got lost meaning I had to wait an additional 3 months for my membership to end, hence me having to pay an additional 3 months of membership on top of all the other "fines". On top of that, I was sent late payment fines for months I had already paid (luckily I kept the receipt) but the staff helping me seemed just as confused as I was.

Worked out here for a month for a good rate. Staff is very nice and they have a decently wide range of classes, products, and equipment. Nothing super fancy but gets the job done and you can definitely get a good workout in. I wish the hours were longer and that people knew how to rerack their weights but not a deal breaker! I disagree with reviews saying it's dirty.

I actually really like this gym, it's huge and takes urban sports club. The entrance is kind of terrible tho, so hard to find, and they could do a better job regulating the sauna in COVID Times, but still love it for having everything you could need to workout. Don't expect the most luxurious gym of Europe, however this is probably the best gym for this price range in whole Berlin (and i've tried quite a lot). Superior to any cheap big brand (Fitx, mcfit, superfit) since those are terribly crowded, stressful, stinky and claustrophobic despite the new machines. You can find better gyms (Holmes, FF) but the price can be almost double. For body training this gym is very complete, the machines are not the last generation but they work well and in general there are at least 2 of the same category, so you rarely wait in line. The gym is never fully packed (monday and tuesday evenings are the worst days) and has quite a good division of areas providing privacy and helping not to get too stressed. Has also big windows with lots of light. The locker room is also pretty convenient since it's quite large and divided, providing privacy. Not the newest and cleanest, but definitely less stressful than the cheap brands where you have 50 lockers in 2sqm As with many gyms, people not always put back the weights at their place and very often don't wash their hands in the toilet!! Apparently this is a common rule in this city and needs encouraging to change bad habits. The staff is really friendly, helpful and professional. Having recently utilized the sauna area of this establishment, I must say I had an absolutely marvelous experience. The sauna area boasts of not one, but two saunas- a Finnish sauna, and a steam sauna. While I'm not entirely certain about the temperature of the steam sauna, the Finnish sauna is usually set at a comfortably warm 90-95 degrees. I found it to be quite delightful that they offer the option to momentarily increase the heat with an "aufguss" ( infusion ), but do make sure to ask the other participants if they are OK with it. The sauna can get quite busy during peak hours, but even so, I was able to find adequate space inside the sauna for myself. The balcony area and the comfortable loungers provided made for an altogether relaxing experience. As an added bonus, they also have extra sinks for foot baths, and multiple showers are at your disposal to cool down. For a gym with an incredible sauna area, this facility is definitely a standout. While I haven't availed myself of their gym services, as I tend to do other sports for my fitness regimen, the sauna area alone is worth the trip. If you're seeking a top-notch sauna experience, I'd highly recommend checking this place out.

I used to really like the place and still do. It‘s spacious and has everything I need for an effective workout. The staff is friendly. Maybe a little reserved, but that’s a plus in my book. If you need help, ask. However, more and more machines have issues (instable hometrainer, broken handles etc.) or are out of order for weeks. While the locker room area is nice, the showers are grimey. The female only sauna could use some upkeeping, too. Please don’t blame this on the *one* cleaning lady btw. She’s doing a great job, but if you want to offer a tight curse plan mostly frequented by women, you have to make sure there‘s enough personell to clean in between when 20 women rush in and out of the changing rooms. The state of the shower heads and mold has been an issue for a while… and yeah, like others have said, the air quality isn’t ideal. On the bright side, I do enjoy the staff‘s very diverse musical taste.
