(Translated by Google) The park is located on a disused railway site and is very nicely designed in terms of art. There is also a nature trail there.

🌳One of the best park’s in Berlin🌳 The place is full of historical materials (from WW2). It is very clean and not crowded at all. You can enjoy bird’s singing while witnessing the sun coming thru the high trees.🦉 We got the chance to meet one of the staff that is in charge of the park, he’s name is Olivier! What a lovely guy!! Very kind and friendly. ⚠️Note: Toilets are available in the park🚽 Bring 1€ as it is the price of entry per person 💵

Super peaceful and interesting park with multiple railway lines running throughout. There's a suggested donation of €1 to enter, which we paid as we walked in, but we were chased down and asked to show our tickets by a park ranger, so maybe best to always buy a ticket! Would recommend for a nice woodland walk if you fancy a breakaway from the busy centre of Berlin.

Spent a wonderful couple of hours here. My partner loves derelict railways so this was right up his street. The track is all still there as well as the turntable and a few buildings. There is a small cafeteria and clean toilets. Easy to get to by public transport. You literally walk out of the station onto the park. I found the 1 euro entry fee well worth it.

Schönerberger Südgelände is a hidden gem in Berlin. The park's vibrant nature, beautiful art installations, and rich history make it a must-visit. A perfect escape from the city, offering tranquility and inspiration. Highly recommend exploring this unique urban oasis!

A train station that is no longer in use turned into a park. There is a 1 euro entrance fee and a cafe inside the park, as well as an information point and a toilet. The train station part isn't much, but if you're in the mood for a run or a walk in nature, this is definitely a great place for you.

Cool shunting facilities, transformed in a nature reserve. Presents a lot of features from the original functions and also sculptures. Another highlight is the huge turntable, which allowed the old locomotives to rotate in any direction easily

On a fine cloudy Sunday, I decided to visit this place! Boarded S2 from Nordbahnhof and arrived at Priesterweg. Walking down the staircase to the left is the entrance. You need to pay 1€ entry fee. The park is quite big. Follow the walkway and enjoy the old train, shunting place, nuts and bolts from old trains. Railway tracks which nature has now taken over. It's always great to see how nature takes over what was once created to serve human needs. - love the power of nature :)

A nice place for a lockdown reprieve walk! Take a flask of Glühwein and a blanket as the benches are wet and enjoy sitting amongst the trees spotting red squirrels and lots of birdlife. The old rail tracks add to the feeling of a place that's been reclaimed by nature. There is also a fair bit of graffiti dotted around. Hopefully the Shakespeare theatre, bars and restaurants will return soon as it's also a great place to spend a summer evening. It only costs 1€ to get into the park right now and there's a clean and warm toilet on site too.

The nature Park Schöneberger Südgelände is one of the industrial archeology locations and a nature Park to visit in Berlin. Very interesting for children. Parking place nearby. Toilets. The railway yard was built in 1889 and became a deserted industrial area when it was shut down gradually after the Second World War. During little more than 50 years, a rich natural oasis has come to thrive in the midst of a diverse city. This jungle forest can now be explored by foot.

Nice, historical place (this was a major trainyard from the early 19th century on). You'll find quite a few relics, like tracks in the woods. There is also an area where it's allowed to create graffiti, across the area you'll see arts and installations. Entry costs 1 EUR and is used to maintain everything. For railfans, you can see an old steam loco but not enter it anymore. Generally it is required to be careful and you must not leave the paths.

Very unique and interesting park to spend time exploring, especially for train lovers. Well kept old turnaround and lots of tracks taken over by nature as well as a graffiti sprayed tunnel. One of a kind. Make sure to pay the 1€ entrance fee. It is well worth supporting the upkeep of the park.

Between Südkreuz and Priesterweg, easy access with bus or train. A hidden gem in the city heart! We were there under the week, was quiet and very relaxing. Tip: The ticket machine at the entrance Priesterweg takes only coins (adult fee 1 €). The guards within the park will ask to see the ticket.

(Translated by Google) If you are looking for a natural park, this is the right place. Planted beds are rarely or not at all to be found here There is an old locomotive, innumerable tracks that are overgrown by bushes and trees ... Nevertheless, the park is well-kept and clean, partly a laid path leads through a metal path through the park area ... old walls on a special path are open to sprayers from 3 p.m. and can be viewed ... At the entrance near S Bhf. Priesterweg is a machine where the entrance fee of 1 euro is to be paid. An old water tower reminds of times gone by, as does the whole park on the old railway site, which was closed in 1952. I really liked the park with its combination of nature, history and spray art ... I would have given 5 stars if something more had been created for children and their enthusiasm for climbing ..

(Translated by Google) An ideal park in the middle of Berlin. Here, on purpose, no great care is taken that it should be about pure nature. The routes are predetermined and there is an entry fee of € 1, which must be paid at the entrance. Dogs are not allowed as it is a "reserve". (Original) Ein idealer Park inmitten von Berlin. Unfortunately, many Assis who enter the nature reserve and breeding areas and sometimes picnic there. There has to be more control here! (Original) Interessant. It's hard to find the entrance seems like middle of nowhere(if you are coming by road). For an idea it's just below the train bridge. Park itself is super green and unique. There is a cute cafe inside. Great place to walk. There are few or no places to put your picnic decke and sit on ground so you will have to sit on empty benches. Free toilet inside.

As my partner said: "someone has put thought in it and curated this walk" Great mixture of old industrial charme and the wild. Don't forget to say some kind words to the sheep that are the park's friendly inhabitants.

Big private park, near the Sbahn. You can enjoy from nature, walking pathe, and also visit some historical train, watter tank ... here.

  • 5/5 Dr Pete U. 3 years ago on Google
Interesting, rather small nature park within the historical remnants of a train maintenance operation. Trees growing through the tracks, old railway cars and hangars can be found throughout the area. The entrance fee of 1€ is well worth it. In the middle of the park is the so called giardino secreto, where artists have fitted their pieces into the post-industrial backdrop.

This is a beautiful green space built on an old railway yard. Nature is being allowed to reclaim the space and it is thriving. There are a host of insects and plants in this managed environment. With wide flat paths throughout the area. This is a place for everyone to be able to access some nature.

Pay 1euro to enter and someone from the staff comes to us to check (not very friendly as she refuses to speak English or have patience with us because we don't understand something?!) Nothing really worth seeing, every train track or anything that would have been cool looks trashed (in a not cool way) or tracks have been taken away and everything is closed off. The only things that made it better were the graffiti art bits but maybe all together not even worth the 1 euro.
