    Visiting from the US and not feeling well (flu). Went at 6:30 pm to see a doctor and nurse in ER was extremely grumpy. I just left rather than wait a long time for what would likely be a doctor with similar temperment. Funky smell and seemed understaffed. Got OTC meds at an apothecary and they were extremely friendly.

Waiting time of 4 hours (maybe more, as we're still waiting while I'm writing this review) at the emergency for a person with a severe flu and high fever, highly contagious to other patients waiting in the same hall - this is just unbelievable! Staff doesn't seem to care. Blood test was taken extremely badly with hand bleeding for some time. Maybe you get such kind of treatment as a foreigner, and otherwise it's a different case. Anyway, highly NOT RECOMMENDED hospital. Pure disappointment

    I come here due to recommendations of my general doctor for urgent problem. I also have prescription from doctor to admit me as soon as possible. However, when I arrived they refuse to take me with sentence, since I can walk and dont cry cause of pain that it is not urgent and that I go somewhere else next day. Absolutely worst service ever. I just can not understand how is allow to practice medicine today by refusing the person to offer medical help. So for some comments here who are positive, probably are from employees. Otherwise go anywhere else if u need treatment!

Sicherer Befund vom netten Team dort (habe anscheinend eine "Blinddarm-Bilderbuch-Diagnose" ;-)) und noch am selben Tag liege ich auch schon unter dem Messer. Aufgewacht auf Station 6, die ich hiermit durch und durch loben möchte. Hier geht es nicht nur ausgesprochen freundlich zu, vom Putzpersonal über die Pfleger, Schwestern bis zu den Ärzten waren durchweg alle kompetent, zuverlässig, sehr bemüht und immer bereit auch mal was zu erklären. Und schon nach drei Tagen durfte ich wieder gehen :-) Habe (Gottseidank ;-)) nicht viele Vergleichsmöglichkeiten, würde hierher aber immer "gerne" wieder zurückkommen. Auch meine beiden liebenswürdigen, älteren Zimmernachbarinnen fühlten sich durchweg gut aufgehoben. Ein großes Lob an die Station 6 des Franziskus Krankenhauses (Gefäßchirurgie unter Leitung von Dr. Frank Schönenberg)!

Dazwischen werden zur Unterhaltung des Patienten kleinere Untersuchungsroutinen durchgeführt, deren Zusammenhang zur akuten Erkrankung sich wirklich nur dem Personal erschliesst und auch nicht weiter erklärt werden müssen - es geht schliesslich um die Verwaltung des Patienten. Da ich mich gerad nicht verwalten lassen wollte leider keine fünf sondern nur einen Stern😕 Zur fachlichen Kompetenz der Ärzte kann ich wenig sagen - ich brauchte einen Orthopäden, den es vor Ort aber nicht gab - da warte ich mal die Ergebniss der durch Ferndiagnose (Korrespondenzkrankenhaus) erfogten Therapie ab. Vom Therapiepersonal vor Ort wurde ich jedenfalls erstmal so eng verbunden, dass ich dann wirklich auch die Schmerzmittel benötigte, die mir - bis dahin unverständlicherweise - verschrieben worden waren. Denn die Schmerzen verschwanden trotz ausdrücklicher Versicherung des Therapiepersonals leider doch nicht nach einer Stunde.

    Scheinbar muss man dort Beziehungen haben um richtig behandelt zu werden. Gute Ärzte, weniger gutes Hilfpersonal. Dortige Hygiene läßt zu wünschen übrig. Es hat sich herausgestellt dass ich mich dort mit Feigwarzen angesteckt habe, was dort auch erkannt hat, aber nicht behandelt.

    I don't really understand where all the negative reviews came from 🤷‍♂️ I've had an amazing experience with super friendly nurses and doctors, and everyone spoke good English (well not the person responsible for meals, but he was still friendly and we could communicate with basic words and signs:D) The emergency staff were awesome and reassuring, and then I had to be checked in and the 4a wing staff were very helpful and kept checking on me and asking if I needed anything. The hospital and facilities were clean and hygienic. I visited this hospital a year ago and my experience was similar. Overall I had a really positive encounter, and I hope that I don't need a hospital in the future, but if I did, I'll definitely come here.

    I had an appointment for computer Tomography on my foot. They took me in immediately. I didn't wait at all when I came. But I had to wait around 25 minutes for the DVD. The Nurse was super nice and friendly. I can't believe I had such a pleasant experience in a German hospital.

    What an experience to say the least... my friend called up because he had a knee injury and the receptionist told us to come in and the doctor would see him. Well, we were then told to go away as they don't look at orthopaedic issues. Not sure whether the receptionist knows what department he is working in, honestly. My friend could barely walk and there was no assistance whatsoever unfortunately. No ice. No one to help him walk. Just a grumpy attitude :( I sadly do not reccommend this place.

    Ein Patient der kurz nach meiner Aufnahme entlassen wurde sagte mir, noch einen Tag hätte Er es nicht auf dem Zimmer ausgehalten. Konnte ich im Anschluss verstehen. Turnschuhe und Wäsche waschen in der Dusche, alle Fenster aufgerissen um Wäsche und Schuhe zu trocknen, es war auch kalt. Ununterbrochen Unruhe in dem 20 m² Zimmer, das mit 4 Patienten belegt war. Laufend klingelte ein Handy. Bis zu 10 mal wurde ein Patient angerufen der nichts mitbekam weil er schlief. Sogar die Nachtruhe wurde erheblich gestört, weil wohl ständig zum rauchen oder sonst was ging. Laut Chefarzt wäre das normal, es sei schließlich kein Hotel. Ansonsten gibt es noch kostenpflichtige Zimmer auf der Urologie.

    I spent a total of 21 days in ward 4S (at my own discretion, it is actually a ward for private patients or self-payers). I came to the emergency room as a patient and all the nurses and doctors there were so nice and competent and didn't “brush you off”. The doctor from the emergency room even came up to the ward a few days later to check on me :) I consciously decided to get a 1-bed room as a self-payer and it was the best decision of my life. From admission to discharge, I was treated so kindly and warmly, both by the (head) doctors and also by all the nurses on the ward, that I felt very comfortable throughout my entire stay. Greetings to all the nurses :) from diagnosis to treatment and surgery, everything went without complications and I am very grateful that I went there. I hope it was the last hospital visit, but I would always go to ward 4S and pay for it with a clear conscience!     Here I am writing about my experience on the 4th Floor. ..... 5 STARS for being Friendly, Welcoming and Efficient. I was dealt with in the nicest possible way. I know where to go next time I need help and am sure I will not be disappointed. I went for an emergency because i hurt my toe very bad and turned blue i was afraid i had broken it, went to this hospital had to wai first 2 hours for the doctor and after doctor came made me a rentgen i waited another 1 hour to tell me if its broken or not, and then doctor told me that the nurses will come and put bandages on your foot and then i waited another half an hour for the nurses while i was hearing them laughing and eating in the other room next to mine until i just took my things and left the hospital without any help..

    Good clean hospital with friendly and helpful staff. English and German speaking. Was seen within 10 minutes by a knowledgeable doctor, after being turned down at every other GP practice because I am not a german resident. Paid a fee of €10 and then another sum for my prescription at the pharmacy. EU health card accepted.

    I went there for the antibiotics allergy which spread all of my body, they got 150euro for emergency care(?) but I couldn't get any treatments. They said they can't do anything for me and go Hausearzt tomorrow. After I been there, my symptom went worse and suffeed all night for that.

    Great hospital with very friendly staff. Came to the emergency room at 8pm and got treated immediately, had surgery the next day without a problem. Almost all doctors and nurses speak good English, listen to requests and are always available for help. Can only recommend. 🙏🏼

    My sister was dying on the palliative care ward on the 5th floor of the Franziskus Hospital in Berlin. My dying sister's last 12 hours could have been easier in this hospital.     This hospital is excellent. I had to have a last minute surgery and the doctor suggested this facility. They took care of me in a timely manner and the staff was extremely nice. Lots of English speaking nurses and Doctors. I upgraded to the 2 Bed Room for 85€/night, since I would only be one night. I have had lots of crappy issues with hospitals in the past (AVOID CHARITE EVEN IF YOU ARE DYING, GO SEE A VET FIRST). I really cannot recommend this hospital more. Simply put they take care of you when you need it the most.

    Surgery on the Uro was minimally invasive in 10/2023. From admission to discharge, the hospital was very well organized and the waiting times were short. All the staff were very friendly and always helpful. I can highly recommend this hospital. I can't understand the bad reviews.

    TLDR: long waiting time, always complained on a high load (there were about 7 patients on that day), prescribed antibiotics, but lost both blood and urine tests. My partner had strong fever for 2 days and symptoms of urinal issues. When we came there an assistant measured his temperature really briefly with some fancy stuff and wrote 36.3. However, he was feeling awful and was really hot even when touch a forehead (at home we checked the temperature again and it was about 38). Then we had to wait for about an hour to do blood tests: the nurse took multiple samples and wasn’t careful, she spilled some blood on my partner, it wasn’t positive experience. Then we waited another hour or so to do ultrasound, the doctor saw some problems with a bladder and said that she would wait for test results to assign right medications. She came back after 5 min with a prescription of antibiotics and no tests results. She suggested to make an appointment with urologist and that we can collect test results the next day. After coming to the clinic daily during a week, my partner didn’t get any results and heard only mumbling that they are still waiting results from the laboratory. Now 2 weeks passed by and they didn’t give anything, so they LOST OR NEVER DONE blood and urine TESTS. And this information was really important to understand the reasons and first conditions, very unprofessional from their side.

    I was completely satisfied.     Mit Schüttelfrost und Schmerzen kam ich in die Notaufnahme. Ich lag mehrere Stunden. Da kam eine Schwester rein, ich solle Platz machen. Für andere Patienten, den ging es schlimmer. Warum bin ich in der Notaufnahme?Weil ich eine Infektion habe. Ich habe meinen Freund angerufen. Dem ist sie dermaßen frech gekommen dass er sprachlos war. Ich habe noch zusätzlich sclimme Rückenschmerzen von einer OP. Das hat sie nicht interessiert. Sie hatte eher was vom Feldwebel. Vielleicht sind ihr die vielen Tattoos auf das Gehirn geschlagen. Ich bin so sauer., wünsche ihr nichts gutes.

    Ich habe einen Termin für meine Schwiegermutter vereinbart und bei Termin wurde festgestellt das die vorliegenden Beschwerden nicht behandelt werden können. Dabei wurde bei terminvergabe um dem überweisungsschein des Artztes gebeten. Da steht klar und deutlich die Beschwerden. Dennoch wurde vorher keine Rücksprache gehalten. Durfte dann noch einen angeblichen 30 min Umfrage beantworten, die letzten Endes 2h gedauert hat. So kann man sich ja einfach Kunden Daten holen. Sehr enttäuscht das man so rücksichtslos mit seinen Patienten umgeht. Dieser eine Stern wäre schon zu viel. Danke für nichts.

    War dort in der Urologie. Die Aufnahme im eg. Und in der 3og. Sind super und sehr freundlich. Die Schwester Karola in der 3og. Ist ein Engel hat mir die Angst genommen. Nach der op war ich auf Station 4 und dort waren auch alle sehr nett. Leider kommt man nicht zu Ruhe egal ob Tags oder nachts, ständig kommt einer rein und will was. Total unnötig. Und das größte minus ist die Sauberkeit, wie alle Krankenhäuser in Berlin sehr schmutzig egal was oder man hinguckt einfach dreckig( Besteck vom Essen, Bett , Boden , Wände usw) Tv außer Funktion auf Zimmer wlan total schwach 2023

    The old lady receptionist made me wait outside for my friend in the freezing cold for no reason late at night alone as a woman in an area I have never visited. I hadn’t said one word to her and quietly sat in the waiting room for my friend. I believe it’s due to discrimination related to my background. I was in shock, you need people who care about humans in a hospital. She should be fired or find another job where she won’t potentially harm someone as she doesn’t want to help them because of where they come from. I will be filing a formal complaint.

    I was in pain therapy for just two weeks and I have to say I'm really impressed with the nursing staff, they always have an open ear and everyone is super nice to you! That alone is a reason to go there again 😁👍! I've never experienced such a great care team before, and I've already had a few hospital stays🙄! The therapists and doctors are also super nice and really take their time with you! The only thing that bothered me is the mattresses, they could be used to be replaced and the cleanliness is not that optimal! And perhaps a camera on station would make sense in the entrance area but overall the stay was good, and the main thing is that it was good! So gladly again!!!
