RACIST!!!! AVOID IF YOU DON'T SPEAK GERMAN! The guy at the front desk (has tattoos on both arms) yelled at me YOU ARE IN GERMANY SPEAK GERMAN when I was trying to explain that I have a fast pulse (tachycardia). I was about to lose my consciousness. I thought I was having a heart attack and I tried to show it with my hands. He doesn't need to know English to understand I have a problem with my heart. Just racist... So sad... I never had an experience like this in Berlin. If you read this : I think it is not the best situation to give anyone a "lecture" about speaking German you racist..

One one of my relatives had to be admitted via ambulance to this clinics (october 2023). I didnt expect much but was nicely surprised when all schwesters and arzts in every clinic's section could communicate in English. The staff at emergency department allowed me to stay inside with patient due to her illness and no ability to understand even her native language. There was a shortage of stuff at that time (covid, strikes) and it slightly affected the service. But thats not staff's fault and all of them were acting friendly and helpful at the station (4 or 5) and on reception as well. Thank you, rot kreuz clinics :)

Friendly doctors, and staff. They treat patients with care, I had a abscess surgery in 2020 and they were very friendly and helpful. They treated me with care. For emergency cases sometimes will take longer time (which is common across Berlin so I'm not complaining about that), but staff in emergency room also friendly.

I was calling and ask if they can speak English, the administrator just said “Ne” and hang up the phone. I was trying to call again few time, and nobody answer. It’s the worst part when you need emergency situation!!!!

Very rude and unrespectful personal. I felt very uncomfortable and unpleasant during my treatment there and I have absolutely regretted choosing this hospital for my surgery.

Dr Paul schneider had performed a lung surgery for me 5 years ago. Everything went so smooth, no complications whatsoever. Dr schneider is very knowledgeable and professional, at the same time he is warm and friendly and treats his patients as friends not cases. His assistant also is a superb doctor. The hospital is very clean and well equipped. I liked that the hospital was somewhat small, because there was a warm atmosphere between the staff and the patients. Although it was a major surgery, let me reassure you that I am feeling very healthy now, healthier than I was for years.

Came here by myself through the ER (Notaufnahme) and was immediately accommodated by the staff in the registration and in the treatment ward. Im not sure if they speak English but I was able to explain what was happening to me in my broken German while in unbearable pain and they fully understood me. I waited for maybe 5 minutes in the waiting room (but felt like forever because of the pain) and was given pain medicine and treated me well. I was totally positively surprised since I heard lots of rude attitude especially in the emergency dept in other hospitals. I didnt experience that here, so kuddos to the staff and the doctor who attended to me! ❀

(Translated by Google) Emergency room: pretty bad. Dating unfriendly. Quality standards in the work questionable. Best example: I suddenly got Novalgin for gastrointestinal problems. Although the Ärtzin said that was actually intended for the room next door. This was ignored despite my suggestion that it will not do anything if food poisoning is suspected. In addition, access was not properly laid. Unfortunately this can not keep up with any KKH in which I was up to date. (Original) Notaufnahme: Ziemlich schlecht. Umgangston unfreundlich.

This place is awesome. Fell of my bike and hurt my foot on a Sunday. Had to go to the ER, since it’s in the only doctor open. To my surprise everyone was super welcoming and forgiving of my bad German. Everything was completed in 1.5h including an X Ray which I consider extremely quick as a publicly insured patient. Definitely recommend! The staff are all A+ (reception team, nurses, and doctors)

This was a truly singular experience! A wasp sting on my tongue started a swelling and I just managed to get to the hospital on time: I couldnÂŽt swallow and could hardly breathe. The Red Cross Hospital in Wedding couldnÂŽt have been better: fast, highly efficient, above all, friendly and competent. My thanks to the doc, reception and nursing staff. I was able to leave on the same day and .... have no after effects! PS I left out that itÂŽs also squeaky clean!

Visit here on Saturday due to unexpected symptoms and after treatment, I had to listen to doctor scolding me asking why I came here instead of local hospital (hausarzt) with that acute symptoms. Well, no hospitals open on Saturday, I came there after following all the instruction from my last doctor's appointment and it didn't work at all, and explained all my medical history fully. I completely understand that emergency room is absolutely hectic 24/7 and docs are extra busy during COVID, but it would've been better if they gave me a better instruction than 'don't come to our hospital with that little acute symptoms, find specialist before coming here,' and completely ignoring that it was weekend and all the years of trials that i went throigh in dealing with the symptoms with specialists. Treatment was outstanding, but very disappointing experience for sure.

I’ve had experiences in the past with doctors in Germany. It’s been cold, with a lack of compassion and struggling to navigate just the physical space you’re in. Every person I talked to here was compassionate, understanding and thoughtful. To be honest, it really threw me off. But here, I was met with what I needed at the moment. Be it information, compassion or a laugh. I don’t know their names but to the women in Endoskopie, thank you for making a very scary and weird experience much less scary and weird.

All examinations were carried out without delay. On Tuesday, Covid was found that I had caught on the ward. Now I am in quarantine here. I would have liked to have informed me of the risk of a Covid infection before the admission, if the high transmission on the wards was known! The fact that they justify full occupancy with economic survival shows that things can't be so bad for them yet. But that's not responsible. (Translated by Google) Five years ago my mother had an inflammation of the pancreas and had to be admitted to another hospital. After successful treatment, the pain started again a year later. The doctors found that this time the pain comes from the gallbladder because stones were found. When the surgery was to take place in the DRK Klinik, we mentioned inflammation with the pancreas a few years ago. The doctor who had operated on my mother only listened to her briefly on the day of the consultation before the operation and the conversation only felt like 3 minutes, because he was overwhelmed because the waiting room was overcrowded with patients who are also operated on by him wanted to. After the gallbladder was removed, everything was fine, but unfortunately we found that the doctor no longer came in for information after the operation. The nurses as well as the assistant doctors were very rude. Three weeks after the gallbladder surgery, my mother was visiting my home. She said that she had to vomit this morning and that the abdominal cramps were severe as before the operation. After half an hour the pain was gone. In the evening my mother had to vomit again and the abdominal cramps were back. We drove you to the hospital immediately and she was admitted again. The next day, MRI should be done and you had to stay sober! At the Mrt came a sister who told her that you have to drink 2 liters of water now! My mother mentioned that the doctor said she had to stay sober, what happened she drank a glass of water, 2 min. later the nurse came back and apologized a thousand times for mistaking my mother for another patient. The MRI was therefore performed the next day. The station was staffed with only one sister in the evening. In addition, the needle on your arm was incorrectly pricked three times by a specialist doctor. The change in infusion was not changed despite several reminders. My mother has had diarrhea since day one. The sisters wanted to take a test and control your bowel movements, but again without success. Nobody came and said what you have to do! The sisters don't look you in the eye when you talk to them, disrespectfully without end. You are clearly ignored! Whoever is polite loses! The day after the morning, a specialist came in who said it was just an inflammation. Now we are asking ourselves whether the removal of the gallbladder was not the right decision ?! Keiner kam und sagte was Sie machen muss!

He is very empathetic and extremely friendly towards everyone. With all the stress the staff had, it was really nice that someone like Andreas welcomes you with a smile and takes the time - and the worries seriously. (Translated by Google) My wife was referred straight to this hospital by the doctor with Covid 19 and severe symptoms. When we got there, my wife had to wait almost 1.5 hours for admission, even though the hospital and the chief doctor knew that my wife would come with pneumonia and a high fever and shortness of breath. Only after our family doctor had called and complained was my wife taken to a room. The emergency room for Covid 19 patients was empty. The purest horror ..

(Translated by Google) After 4 weeks of diarrhea in the emergency room at the DRK clinic where I was treated by a gastro & sonoteam working at the highest level, who tried to find out the cause with all possible tests and then to make a diagnosis and initiate medication to break the nail on I would like to thank the nurses, care and service staff of Ward 7, where I was a guest patient, who were always friendly and eager to help. My conclusion: this clinic is worth every star and recommended. The staff were very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Should I ever come back to Berlin and need some unexpected medical attention I will most certainly go there again.

I have been to this hospital at eleven at night, through emergency door and I could have never imagined they would treat me so nicely and quickly! Also on the inside it is pretty new, it's easy to see they have very good equipments.

So incredibly rude. I had an asthma attack with the tightness in my chest, unable to breathe + wheezing. Called the line at 00:30 am to see if there was anyone that could help me if I were to come. I asked the lady that picked up if she spoke English, she said no, I asked if she can redirect me to someone that does, she said no and asked me to explain what was wrong (in English). I explained what was wrong, to which she again asked me to speak German. When I tried explaining that I don’t know these terms in German she switched from English to German as if she were a language teacher at a high school. I tried telling her (now with German that I do know) that I don’t know these words in German, to which she replied something I could not understand, while chuckling to herself as if laughing at me. This is completely disastrous, is this not a hospital?? I understand if someone does not speak English, but I think their reply can simply be — whether in English or German — “I’m so sorry, unfortunately we cannot help you since no one at the hospital speaks English. Try [this place] instead.” Do better.

Dont understand the bad reviews. At least the emergency unit was super nice and effective. The nurses and doctor was friendly and listened to my symptoms and came to a very quick diagnosis. I dont know why it was so empty that day but i sat down for 1 minute, was called immediatly, got an IV injection instantly and several checkups inlcuding heart rate, blood preassure, taling blood and a xray within 45 minutes. The longest waiting time was for the IV dripping throught Poor them they have to carry you with a wheelchair due to insurance reasons over the whole property to reach the xray Station.
