I love it. If you go to the cinema here, be sure to see a film that is being shown in one of the clubs. There is seated service in the back seats and the chairs are incredibly comfortable. And the cinema ticket still costs no more than anywhere else.

The best cinema experience we've ever had. The big screen looks great from the outside and everything looks great inside too. You get your tickets right at the entrance and then you go on to the obligatory popcorn/nachos etc. After that is done, we go into the cinema and we were very impressed by how large, modern and stylish everything is. The cinema hall was bombastic. We sat pretty close to the front, but we could see everything really well. The chairs were very comfortable and even reclined with plenty of legroom. The staff was also very nice and it was clean too. All in all just wonderful.

Very nice cozy cinema! We visit this cinema during the 74th Berlin Film Festival. Although this cinema is very old, the inside is good and modern. The armchairs are very comfortable. The sound and picture are super beautiful! I can only recommend this cinema!!

I went to watch a movie in those small rooms that looked like a living room with many books. It was the coolest experience. Honestly, it's my favorite cinema from now on. Strong recommend. Besides that, a person is taking your orders in your seat before the movie starts.

A very nice cinema. There are halls of different sizes. We were in the club room. A space where you feel at home. There are around 50 seats and the room is set up like a library. Everything is in red. The armchairs are very comfortable and are equipped with a footstool, like the TV armchair.

My favorite cinema! Kino 1 is the best cinema there is in Berlin. Huge cinema. The show before the film is now a sound-light show. Still very good. If you want to go to the cinema in Berlin, you should definitely go to Kino 1 in the Zoo Palast. Top! 👍

Nice combination of old glamour due to the cinema's rich history and a modern cinematic experience. The largest theatre has all the bells and whistles as well a preshow that is worth experiencing. I knew that before. However, the club theatres are really cosy smaller cinema's that give you a feeling like you are at home or in a nice library. The books in the shelves give it the finishing touch. Another plus, you can also watch most movies in OV.

Cinema 1, box, 70mm. Anyone who knows and misses cinema from the analogue times should definitely give it a try. It's a shame that films shot in 70mm are no longer shown in analogue format. It seems to be more expensive or there are only a few copies.

Overall, a great cinema. Luxuriously equipped with very comfortable seats. Then why not 5 stars here? Unfortunately, in my opinion, the lodge service does not always meet your own requirements. The idea of ​​being able to order in the box area is great in itself, if it were always ensured. It happened a few times that when we arrived late but before the advertising started, not all guests, including me, could always be served. Mostly when it was full in the medium-sized halls 2, 3, 4 and 5. This means that although I personally like to book the box seats, which are really great in terms of seating, I prefer to take care of the service myself. No problem, but not 5 stars if you offer it and advertise it. Unfortunately, the selection of original versions is also very limited, although in my opinion the two smallest halls would be ideal for this. Very nice old cinema! We were surprised that the Loenkarten run included a cloakroom and a welcome drink. There was also a very friendly service in the cinema hall who brought us our popcorn and drinks directly to our seat. Really great!

Searched for a movie theater in Berlin and found this place which luckily had some of the pop movies in English as well. Went there for the for the authentic atmosphere. We had a movie session on one of the smaller rooms which had a library and a bar in it! And when the movie started the curtains went to sides. It gave us the true movie watching experience like it was for us only.

It is simply THE cinema in Berlin. When one remembers the splendor of the old cinema times, I always think of the Zoopalast. To this day, I can still fully recommend coming here for larger, visually stunning productions. The sound in the large halls is impressive, the seats are comfortable and the picture is simply amazing.

Zoo Palast Berlin is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most historic cinema's in Berlin. Extremely popular so it's advisable to pre book tickets which entitles you to free drinks and nibbles and more comfortable seats . Staff here are super friendly and go out of their way to make your visit memorable. The cinema itself is modern and your always assured a great visit. I've been going to you all the time since the 90s. The first film I saw in the cinema was with you. It was in the 1st room and there was a laser show on site, now with lights and water, and the Lion King was playing. Since then I go to the Zoopalast 95% of the time and I love it. I love the box and the box seats. The price is irrelevant to me because your employees have always been helpful and courteous. I've never seen a dirty room, etc.

Multiplex cinema, one of my favourites! Spacious, welcoming, well-kept environment, always friendly staff. Audio and video quality obviously not the same for all rooms (room 1 excellent) but always satisfactory. The Club A and B rooms are interesting, furnished as a "living room" for special screenings or with children.

A great cinema with super comfortable seats. The staff is very nice, but I deduct one star for the speed of popcorn sales, which could well be due to too few employees behind the counter.

One of the most beautiful movie theatres in the world!

No effort made whatsoever to keep people safe during the pandemic. Lines are messy with no social distancing enforced by staff. I felt extremely uncomfortable here the other day and would not have gone had I known they sell directly adjacent seats to strangers again, in a cinema where you are allowed to take off your mask during the film. How exactly are we to keep a basic distance if there's a stranger shoulder to shoulder with me on your narrow seats? There's plenty cinemas in Berlin where some basic safety restrictions are in place. Go to those instead. This is disgusting.

Located near Berlin Zoologischer Garten, Zoo Palast is a historical Cinema dating back too 1957. And it has not lost his historical look from the inside. Desing in the 50's the interior looks like it has stopt in time. Furthermore the movie cinema experience is not very special comparing it too other cinema's. The commercials where 40 min long. That i have never experienced. There are how ever special services for some seats i believe in the cinema where you can be served food and drinks and change you chair. We did not oder this seats but i believe they have that option. I would just recommend it for the looks. But for the rest not very special.

Amazing building. The cinema looks gorgeous. The chairs are very comfortable with plenty of leg-room. There are multiple rooms, and the movies are usually available also in 3D or OV (without any subtitles).

Worst popcorn of my life. Wet, cold and soggy. I asked for a refund but the bartenders only said that the popcorn was from "today". They don't make the 🍿 fresh at the counter. It arrives in big plastic bags. No wonder it's cold and chewy :( one star for that. On the good side the interior of Saal 2 was great. Very comfortable chairs, even in the cheap section. They can recline and you can take a good nap. Recommend.

All of the great actors and directors, such as Tarantino have had premieres there amazing popcorn The small room for English movies is really cosy with books around A warning: not many English choices so do check if the movie is not dubbed before choosing

Today we went to Godzilla Waiters who bring your order to your seat, there is a small order card at your seat...the picture quality on the screen was also very good...one thing was just a bit problematic: if you sit directly under the loudspeaker, the film is extremely loud...in front of you especially when it comes to action films...but we were still really excited and will definitely come back...

I was here with friends for a listening session by Luciano, so I can't report on the classic cinema experience. But the staff was friendly, the seats were comfortable and the sound with DolbyAtmos was very good. In any case, visually a nice cinema.

I was back at the Zoo Palast today and saw Dune in Room 1. Dolby Athmos is just great and I love the popcorn at Zoo Palast - definitely the best popcorn in town. The redesigned zoo box is also really beautiful ❤️🎬

Spectacularly beautiful and large theatre with comfortable seating. It makes it feel like a slightly more luxurious movie experience. You might have to wait for a long time to buy refreshments, due to the number of patrons, but totally worth a visit.

This has become our preferred spot for watching movies, even though we reside on the opposite side of Berlin. The theaters are consistently clean, the staff is friendly, and the movie ticket prices are more affordable compared to other cinemas. It's an expat-friendly movie house. I just wish they offered more substantial snacks like sandwiches. Overall, it's a great cinema experience. I would highly recommend it to others.

Make sure your booking meets your (language) expectations. I booked blindly as there was not language specification online and found out it was in German. They were kind enough to exchange my ticket to English seance, which was great.

Best Cinema in Germany. The sound is amazing and the screen is second to none. I am thinking of travelling from Munich now everytime a great movie is on.

This is one of the best cinema theatres / kino around. Their sound infrastructure is definitely a class better than the ones across the pond. Am immensely surprised to how they've changed their seating arrangement to ensure ppl are safe during this time. Felt very safe, clean and hygienic during the movie watching experience. I wouldn't suggest taking the kids yet, cause they can get challenging.

Seats are comfy and the bit more expensive lounge seats offer great service and more room for a moderate price around 15 EUR per seat. Has 5 to 7 different screens/rooms, sometimes offers movies in Original Language but usually German synchronization.

Though the outside architecture might be questionable, not everyone's taste, I must admit it is a very beautiful cinema. I was really impressed how comfortable the seats were, how big and spacious it was from the inside. And they even show OV! The only downside was the lack of staff checking people's coronavirus status! The waiting line outside the building was too long, and painfully slow! Room for improvement!

We had today tickets to the Original Version (OV) of Eternals. It was our special date night for many months. I´m disappointed with how they dealt with it. No OV was available! They were trying to push the german dubbed version! It was a scam. Luckily, our dinner at ROCA next door saved the night! Fantastic service and super friendly, thank you <3

Movies in both OV and Dolby atmos are not being advertised, but sometimes they are being scheduled. The filtering criteria should be improved. Because there is no way for the customer to know when they will be played.

Watched Batman, my very first movie in Zoo Palast. Liked the movie and cinema too, the seats were comfortable with enough space and the sound quality was pretty satisfying. We were told that we would receive welcome drinks in the hall. But somehow they forgot it. Well...Din't mind. In short, had a good experience👍🏼

Seats are very comfortable, and the seating is pitched enough that you see the screen and not the person in front of you. I have to deduct one star for the sound quality. Dr Strange sounded weirdly tinny, almost like a bass channel was missing.

Nice seats and spacing but very small foods and drinks counter and very slow. They have only popcorns and limited beverages! Also there is a small washroom and sometimes the queue becomes very large! Better go to Cinemax or iMax for a complete movie experience!

Watched Avatar: The Way of Water here in auditorium 5. Great picture and sound. The 3D was ok, just uses polarized glasses and not the shutter type used in Dolby Cinema. Also, no overheard Atmos sound which again is reserved for Dolby Cinema theaters. Overall, you can’t go wrong watching a movie here.
