Sadly we had a bad experience in Kim Za. The wine tasted like it was watered up and when we asked to see the bottle, they got angry. The pork and beef kebab looked totally different from the pictures on the menu, it had no vegetables, it was dry and burnt. As we know and love Georgian food, we would not suggest this restaurant to anyone.

We loved our experience in Kin Za, the service was fast and efficient, the food delicious! From the pictures are missing our favorite, spinach and cheese filled pastry pockets, however you can see the chicken in the walnut sauce and aubergine. Beer was good but the soft herby drink was strange for our taste and very sweet.

The location is very spacious and looks nice. The server paid little to no attention to us and took way too long to take or order. the cheese bread was very delicious and the meat filled dumplings are very big and come with 3 sauces. Overall very filling meal for two because of the generous portions, I’d recommend this for 3 people with a small side dish in addition. Unfortunately, they only take cash and PayPal as payment option.

I suppose this place is special. In this restaurant you can enjoy Georgian cuisine. There are always people who really respect good quality service and want to try some special dishes with a slight smokiness of Georgia on the streets of Berlin)! P.s. we’ve tried special Georgian dumplings with cheese/spinach, and with pork It was delicious!

Over 5,000 reviews in five years for such a small restaurant? Seriously? Well, whatever. Some of the food was very good (the bread with the egg). The service was very unfriendly, but was then replaced. The food was prohibitively expensive and it was cold in the restaurant because the door was constantly open for new deliveries.

Very pleasant restaurant if you love the Georgian cuisine. The khinkali were very good, we also loved the eggplant rolls and the traditional dry red wine. The service is very agreeable. The waitresses are attentive.

We are from Georgia and in Berlin this is our favourite place. A very good place for lovers of any type of food. Here you will find mostly Georgian cuisine, although with European dishes.

Absolute Empfehlung!

Good atmosphere, good food, not much more to ask for. It definitely made me want to further explore Georgian cuisine. And what better first step than visiting Kin Za more times in the near future.

We got all the food to share and that is I would say the best way of eating here. All the foods were absolutely delicious. My favourite one was the spinach and cheese pastry (penovani) and the fried chicken with nuts. I would recommend making a reservation ahead especially if it’s for a larger group as they get busy very fast. Oh yeah, go see the toilet on the right :)

By far the best Georgian Restaurant in Berlin ❤️ Extremely tasty food and the best Georgian whines. Would love to recommend some dishes, but that would make the review way too long - just go there often enough to try all dishes at least once ☝️ Staff also very welcoming. And if you're creative you'll love the interior as well 💡

Nice restaurant, good food and service. I'm glad we finally had the chance to try the kachapuri. It's super tasty even though a bit on the heavy side. We also ordered the Georgian salad which is nice and fresh, the badrijani eggplants which was yummy, and the khinkali spinach and cheese which was our least favourite but still good. Portions are really big, we had to take quite a bit of the order back home with us (we were 2 adults and a child). The shop is cash only.

We ordered avocado salad, avocado salmon boat, chachapuri and eggplant. Everything was delicious. Nice staff. But you absolutely have to check out all of the bathrooms. Very unique design with lots of mirrors and disco lights. There is a piano, electronic drum set and karaoke inside 😁

This food was so unique & full of flavor!! Absolutely delicious! Best food we ate while in Berlin. Friendly staff too! Oh and I can’t forget to mention the bathrooms…..lol! The bathrooms were SO COOL and clean. They had a disco ball, lights, and played music while you sat on the pot.

After being recommended to visit this place, we decided to try some lunch here. The food I must say, is very good. We ordered the plate with 5 different kinds of humus, which was exquisite. It tasted very rich and had a creamy full texture. The flavour combinations in the humus was unique to me, red beans in humus is one of my favourites now. The dumplings were just as good, but made less of an impact on me. For the drinks I ordered a pear soda, which I can only recommend. Overall, I really loved this place. Be adviced, this is a cash only place.

The food is very good and very well priced. The atmosphere is also very nice. The only down side was our server, who behaved extremely rude. We were scolded for arriving some minutes late after our reservation, which she found out cause I started by apologizing about it, and yet she never asked four our names. She ignored us during the evening and forgot to send certain beverages and when paying she was reluctant to split the bill by equal amounts among everyone, which might be understandable, but not her pressuring us to hurry up and pay together or rolling her eyes when we said we were each going to pay for our dishes.

Perfect!!! Best service, delicious food. Restaurant always gives compliments from the chef to the customers! I’ve really enjoyed each dish and atmosphere there. Thanks to Kristina, our lunch was even more pleasant. 10 out of 10 to Kin Za! Must to try if you’re in Berlin👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I went because so many people recommended to me. However, I think the food was not so amazing as some people say, was a bit tasteless. Very simple dishes and a bit high prices. They only accept card - no cash which is good and new in Berlin. The place decoration is quite interesting, but the food and the service can be better.

The food is absolutely delicious. Don't underestimate how filling khachapuri is. It's filled with cheese and butter it makes you full. We ordered way too much. Grilled chicken in walnut sauce is highly recommended. The khinkhali were ok. Only thing is it's a bit too expensive being the only authentic Georgian restaurant.

This popular Georgian Fast Food Restaurant has changed its menu and came in new form. Most of the dishes which we have tried are excellent particularly Chicken in walnut gravy. However, it has completely removed the bean based Lobiani dishes. Fast service, reasonably priced.

My friend and I ordered two plates and one bottle of wine, it costs 61€ which is fair in the sense of the center of Berlin. The food wasn’t really surprise us, but the service and the wine were great! I also like the interior design and the vibe. Overall it’s good and recommend to anyone who haven’t tried the Georgia food before.

What a great Georgian restaurant. Big portions of very delicious food at really very reasonable prices when you consider the portions. The staff was super helpful and friendly too. I can only recommend this place though the lack of card payment sure does suck.

We had a great night and great food. There were five of us and we ordered too many dishes to mention. Grandma's pickles were excellent. The cheesy pizza with egg was great. The chicken in a walnut sauce was amazing. And so was the aubergine/lamb stew. Only the dumplings were a little disappointing. We had a couple of bottles of Georgian red wine too (Saperavi) which was very drinkable. The pace was busy when we arrived, but empty when we left - so, i guess it sits quite early. Great atmosphere, great service.

I’ve been here several times and will come again! I love the atmosphere, the Adjarian style khachapuri is the best I’ve tried in town. Also, it’s always fun to introduce Georgian cuisine to friends at this cozy and beautifully decorated venue! Special thanks to Kristina for yesterday night, we had a blast 🙏❤️

A bit pricey, but worth it for the experience. The chakapuli (lamb stew) 🌶️was cooked to perfection, and the Georgian cheese plate was a great start to the meal. 🧄The traditional Georgian music in the background added to the ambiance.

  • 5/5 Nikifor M. 2 years ago on Google
The traditional georgian cuisine. The restaurant's interior design is really very impressive. The meal was great and delicious. Can not bypass without mentioning the design of the toilet))). Its something unique. The only minus is that it is cash only restaurant. One more thing is about the volume of the music or radio. When there are too many people it could be reduced so people can speak not loudly and hear each other well.

Overall, the food here is pretty good. Bear in mind, the portion is big. We, a group of 3, couldn’t finish all 4 things here. • The mixed dips were quite bland. Nothing too interesting. You can just skip these. • Khachapuri was very cheesy and the tasty. It’s so good that you can’t stop eating but you’d have to lie down afterwards. • Khinkali were juicy and flavorful. They came with 3 different dipping sauces. • Chicken with walnut sauce was mediocre. The chicken was tender yet the sauce doesn’t contribute any flavor. The service was inattentive. It was difficult to get any service staff’s attention, so you have to be patient. The atmosphere is energetic yet chaotic. Would I come here again? Probably not. I know a better Georgian restaurant.

We came here following a great overall review and felt a bit disappointed. The place is nice and rather big, the food portions are also generous and everything including the dinks has a genuine Georgian style. However, the food is nothing special, the staff is not very friendly and they will only accept cash. Just another place.

Great food and very cool restaurant, they have details everywhere and each corner is different, not to mention the bathroom which is a disco area with lights and music! Service is super fast and nice. Only thing, it is very hot inside, so be prepared for that. Other than that, I can't wait to come back.

Absolutely loved it! Although the kitchen was a little slow (probably a bit busy) the food was absolutely delicious. Price can be a little scary at first but portions are big and worth it! We chose the double cheese pizza and it was an absolute cheese heaven !!! Would recommend for special occasions but not for everyday eating !

  • 4/5 Camille L. 5 months ago on Google
It is my first time trying the Georgian cuisine and the food did not disappoint! We are ordered 3 dishes with the intention of having a dessert after but couldn’t take it because we were too full in the end. So the tip is to avoid having your eyes bigger than your stomach. The cream in the creamy chicken dish was such a delight and the signature baked dough with cheese and egg was so delicious (again, it may not look big but it fills you quickly). Personally I think the soda with the estragon flavour is better than the pear one. Service-wise, unfortunately these many waiters and waitresses were under pressure and had to rush to bring out the dishes or to take orders. So they are not really friendly or patient. We came at 19:30 and the restaurant was very crowded and noisy.

First time experiencing Georgian food and I had heard a LOT of very good things, it turns out those expectations were exceeded! The style and flavours of the cuisine are so unique and varied. If you're eating with some others, I would definitely recommend getting a few different dishes and sharing them as there are so many incredible things on offer, which all go really well with each other. The restaurant had memorable decor and the service was good too (we had a big group and they managed us really well) The Georgian lemonades are also delicious, I'd highly recommend giving the Estrogen flavour a try, it's like nothing I'd tried before and I'm trying to find a store that stocks it now! One more thing, make sure you check out the bathroom...

Delicious & authentic Georgian food. I love their dumplings, khachapuri & the fried chicken in walnut sauce. They also serve local beers & wine from Georgia. There's usually a queue here for dinner and they only accept cash or Giro card payments. P. S. Go to their washroom to party.

Good restaurant to visit overall. Just love the atmosphere in general. Food was decent, however as a minor note : avoid those non alcoholic bottled Georgian drinks , they taste awful

First time trying Georgian food. The chicken and the kachapuri were really good. But the dumplings were not that great for me though. But i still recommend this place if you are looking for a place to hang out with good food and great vibe.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service. I highly recommend trying the cheese and spinach dumplings. Additionally, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance and visit the restroom, which has a mini disco inside.

The only problem I had was the table manners of the owner. we had been walking around and just sat down and took a drink of stuff we had brought with us that day. He asked us to take it off the table so we don’t make people think he serves it. Although I understand, it was just not the best way to go about it. If I want to take a drink of something I bought and have with me I should be able to do so. :)

I had a wonderful experience at the Kin Za, and I must mention the exceptional service provided by Gulsana. Her warmth and attentiveness added to the overall positive atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, offering an authentic taste of Georgia. I highly commend the delightful combination of excellent service and flavorful cuisine. Looking forward to returning soon!

Amazing experience! 🌶️The Georgian cuisine here is truly authentic. I loved the khachapuri – the cheese was perfectly melted and the bread was just the right kind of crispy. 🧄The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

The restaurant of Georgian cuisine pleased us with the atmosphere of hospitality and exquisite dishes. We were especially impressed by khachapuri with various fillings and fragrant supra. Service was of high level, the staff was attentive and friendly. We recommend this restaurant for real connoisseurs of Georgian cuisine.👍👍🤩🤩
