Was okay. Nothing special or spectacular. Good hummus. Rather long wait for food even though not that many customers. Although portions look small, finishing any of their large plate of hummus with the bread should fill most people up.

Easy to miss place, food was surprisingly good and abundant, can’t wait to come back and try some new things. Avg dish price is around €13 and their hummus is veeeery good. We were able to take the remaining food and make and additional meal out of it. Deducting a point due to service, the sever seemed uninterested. Main dishes also arrived with a few minutes difference.

Wow! What on earth has happened to my beloved Zula? I’m not sure but it’s really bad. In a matter of a few weeks the experience has changed so massively bad. Ordered a mini hummus for starter topped with a boiled egg. The hummus was so tasteless and the egg was pink???!!! (I’m sure that was boiled in beetroot water) but was never mentioned anywhere and if there anything I dislike in food is beetroot and it’s sweet notes and specially on my hummus. For main I got the Israeli kebab which I had countless times before and it came like someone took a bite at the middle of the skewer (see picture). Chips tasted old and I’m not sure as to why but some prices could have crack a crocodile’s tooth. Olive and pickles portion have shrank by more the half same did the Chili paste. In General something really bad is happening there. I won’t be back.

We are a regular customers so we keep going to this amazing place 😃. Better to make your reservation before going as it’s a popular place. A bit pricey but the quality is good.

The food is very good: kebab and hummus with shakshuka are our favorites. However, the service sometimes isn’t great or fast. And occasionally they hire some very rude folks.

Peaceful location for hummus or Persian style food. Very tasty and the lentils rice was a nice surprise as a side.

The food is 5 star , but when its busy takes long time to get the order specially second round orders! For cafe or bar price is high but for food is ok! The cafe is so cozy with nice barista we had 4 different dishes and everyone loved their food! They have outdoor tables but inside is nice as well! I just have one picture of Rinder-Mujaddara Which was extremely tasty 😋 totally recommend it if you are not vegetarian 😍

Service was quick. Decent prices. Food was adequate. Lots of seating. A chill place for a causal bite. We were able to pay with card.

Zula has good options for meals, the homus with chicken and mushrooms was good and the cauliflower very tasty. I highly recommend it.

I loved this place in the past! Visited often, but fell out for a while. After a year I have returned and was unfortunately disappointed.. the hummus is now cold, pita bread is not super-fresh (maybe from same day, but not fluffy and cold), my beloved spinach falafels that were seaweed-dark-green and soft, are now just regular, cold and pretty dense. The service improved tho, and the place still has it charm.. too bad they went through so much “optimization” on behalf of authentic quality..

The place is very cozy and a beautiful. The staff is very prompt and courteous. What to say about the food...it was simply delicious. To begin all the food was as beautiful to see as to smell and eat. The hummus was authentic and tasty, so was the labneh, shakshuka and the Kebabs. Everything at Zula just falls right in the place and hits the right place in the heart.

The place is situated in one of the most relaxing and cutest streets of Prenzlauer Berg. It is lovely to sit in the terrace and enjoy the sunshine both in winter and in summer. The food is good and one of the only places where you can have a burger without mayo and other super heavy German sauces. It’s light and well cooked. A bit too expensive since the burger comes with nothing on the side.

Actually not bad at all... Everything feels very homemade but in a nice way. Just very simple Israeli street food... they way is should be done! We enjoyed our visit very much, thank you.

15/10 Hummus!! I can’t even count how many times I have come back since the first time I have ordered their heavenly hummus. It is served with freshly baked bread, garlic and lemon juice, spicy sauce and pickled vegetables. You can also add all kinds of things on top of your hummus but I highly recommend going with Ful and Tomato. If you are in the area you need to try check this place out.

Great place to enjoy some yummy hummus, falafel and other delicacies. Was perfect for our group of friends. It's possible to order mains or a tapas-style variety. Service was very friendly, the food came up very quick and we enjoyed a relaxed evening. The prices were adequate. Will come back!

Pita sandwich was good, chicken soup and humus were great. Their coffee is the best we tried in the city - beats many popular coffee shops. Highly recommend

One of my favourite Israeli-style hummus and homemade pita-bread in Berlin. Decent prices, you are able to pay by card.

Delicious food and amazing lemonade. Friendly stuff. I hope the prices were a little more reasonable and not that high. For example the vegetarian sabich for that size 6,90 is high and a dish of hummus with an egg 15,90.

The food was very tasty! Good sized portions, crispy fries, everything tasted really good, including the hummus! It’s a nice, cosy and casual place. Shame though that half of the service was rude, arrogant and ungrateful to the point that it spoiled the evening a little bit. Kudos to the other half of the service team who could make up to it.

Great service and atmosphere but by you couldn’t eat the hummus without bread, (you got one piece for free before your meal arrived but if you asked for more you had to pay additionally) in conclusion it was a bit pricey for what you got.

Really tasty, especially meat, but tooo fat for my taste. Also I ordered extra vegetables, but portion of vegi a rather small. Sadly pita was cold 🥶 My check: 12 💶 Wanna try here something else. Anyway I can recommend that place.

Haven't been to Zula in almost a decade, so I was very happy to learn that not only the place is thriving but that the quality of the hummus (which is on par with some of the best חומוסיות in Israel) as well as the other dishes (try the baked cauliflower!) has remained consistent. Can't wait to return, hopefully before another decade passes!

The hummus doesn't hold in any standard of real middle eastern food. It had what seemed to be like a thin crust that appears when hummus stands too long (to be fair - this could appear pretty quickly, but it will never happen in a good place in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem). The pitas have actually pretty good texture but don't taste so good. To make things worse - the service was horrible even by Berlin's infamous low standards - the waiter was apathic and made a lot of mistakes. Overall pretty poor experience.

A lovely chill place serving Hummus and similar in one of the must beautiful corners in Berlin. The prices used to seem too high, but now all the new places in Prenzlauer Berg are so expensive, that suddenly the prices in Zula seem really decent. There were a couple of times when the garlic-lemon dressing smelled like a concentrated lemon juice (!) but today it was just great, so I guess this only problem is solved. Warm Pita-bread from the oven. Nice tables both in- and out-door. Tap-water, and general generosity. All in all a great place.

Every year when in Berlin, we eat at Zula. It is always super duper good. Reasonable prices, good friendly service (in a time when everyone is short of service staff!) and amazing food. Have the 'normal' hummus with goulash. It is the very best!

Best value for its high quality. The bread taste amazing-warm, fresh, cute.humus is delicious.warm and good service. Staff offered nice smile. Quite and romantic dining atmosphere, perfect for couples.

Food is great, just missing a bit salt. Service has been quite challenging tonight. Lots of delays and waiting time, but overall positive experience.

I ate Hummus, and the taste of it was not bad - not good. Also, I ordered lemonade as a drink, and it didn't have any sugar (so healthy 🙃).

Great hummus, probably one of top hummus places in Berlin, offers variety of choices. Stuff is nice and friendly
