Wow. The stadium is not so big but the atmosphere is something incredible... Visited during derby Union - Hertha BSC. It was crazy... 6/5 stars. You should come and check it yourself...

And Never Forget… I have been back here time and again to soak up the wonderful roaring atmosphere of ‘Union Berlin’ stadium. Simply one of the more iconic experiences you can have in the German capital. To understand why The Alte Försterei is what it is now, get a hold of Kit Holden’s ‘Sh*t, We’re Going Up’ and you will know and never forget.

One of the best football stadiums in the world because of the fans. It is great fun to see FC Union play at home and the 2022 team is playing beyond all expectations. Union is on course for Champions league play which would have seemed very unlikely only a few short years ago. The players play their hearts out because of the never ending fan support. Go to a game if you can get a ticket.

Attended an Union Berlin match versus Freiburg. The atmosphere is electric and the fans were helpful and friendly. Most of the stadium is standing terraces. It's loud with lots of singing. The stadium is small and the field is very close. The most fun sporting event I've ever attended. Go Union !!!

What an amazing first experience of Bundesliga. I bought my ticket via Viagogo and the ticket did not pass the system at the entry gate. I did not know that the website was a sort of “black market.” But I was told to go to the clearing point where I explained my situation and the lady there was so kind to explain what to do, she even provided the document that ticket was already used by someone else to the stadium. The stadium also allowed me to buy another ticket officially, which I did. I also reimbursed my money from viagogo thanks to the clearing point of Union Berlin. My experience was enhanced thanks to German fellows (fans of Union Berlin) at the stadium who kindly offered some beer to celebrate my first live game of Bundesliga. The fans were awesome! Will never forget this experience!

We visited the stadium to see a pre-season friendly between FC Union and Nottingham Forest. My nephew (who lives in Berlin) had been given free tickets as he'd been on a FC Union football camp with the club and we tagged along for the experience (as neutral supporters). The stadium is in a lovely setting surrounded mostly by trees. The stewards were very friendly and welcoming, even allowing us to park in front of the stadium as I'm a wheelchair user. Inside the stadium we enjoyed a pre-match and half time beer in our seats which was lovely (this is not possible in the UK). Even though it was a pre-season friendly the home areas of the stadium were very full and the atmosphere was very lively. The main stand is all seats but the opposite side and behind both goals is terraced standing (which is mostly also not possible at major UK stadiums). We arrived as neutral spectators and enjoyed the experience so much that we left as supporters and would enjoy coming here again for another visit.

Wonderful stadium! They still have standing areas on the side of the pitch as well, and so you could get very close to the field. You were right in the action! The energy in the stadium is great they clearly love their “fußball gott”s and it was a very enjoyable match. The anthem was wonderful, a truly great experience! It is also in the forest and so it’s a nice walk to and from the stadium.

Can't wait to visit next year when we come to Berlin... looks like an old skool English footy ground (Boundary Park OAFC) from the 80's complete with hooligans, terraces, dodgy food, and an atmosphere to die for!! Good luck in the Champions League IRON ⚒️👊

It was a mix of luck to get in, but if you like football, the real one, you need to go, little stadium, warm people and an ambience incredible. One of the best thing I have made in Berlin.

Had a wonderful experience, the supporters and atmosphere are incredible: I've never found that any where before. The staff in the fan shop were very helpful in showing us all the scarves 😂😂 if you get standing seats, make sure you get there super early!

Great Stadium and atmosphere, a must visit for every soccer Fan. Bratwurst for 3€ is very fair and its easy reach the Stadium with Public Transportation.

Definitely worth a visit on a match day, if you can get a ticket. I went to the match against Malmö for the group phase of the Europa League. The atmosphere is incredible, despite the stadium not being so big. If you can, get closer to the sector 2, where the vibe is stronger!

Watching an FC Uniom Berlin game at Alten Försterei is an incredible experience. An absolutely phenomenal fan base. I would recommend the standing room area of the stadium for the best experience.

I wish they had more sitting sectors. There is only one, and it was impossible to book tickets for it on a short notice. Some people just can’t stand for so long. So it’s best if you plan your visit in advance.

Very good experience, if you are able to get tickets. Standing seats make it more authentic. Best stadium in Ger I have visited. The surroundings are unique.
