Simply fantastic hotel set on a headland with beaches both sides and amazing views. Spectacular pool. All beautifully finished with gorgeous wooden furniture. Rooms amazing and huge with balcony overlooking the gardens and just a minute down to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful place

Everything about the place was amazing!! On arrival welcome drink you could pick from juice to wine.. and staff was so friendly and helpful. Since we requested a late checkout they even offered us another room. and the 15 minutes complimentary foot massage was to die for! It was one of the best massages. Overall its amazing!!

Did visit around noon 6.2.2024. Service very slow, like now one even wake up in this place. I needed to ask first is bar open they told yes. And that's it. No waitress or no one in bar. Again I needed to find some hotel people like 50 metres away to ask from them is there anyone working on bar or is it even open. Laziest people you can find are "working" in this place. Total joke service! Will not visit never again here! Not 5 star place! And I bet management don't even reply or nothing. Also place was like dead, very empty.

We stayed there for two nights. We booked the deluxe suite with a private pool. Location is perfect with panaromic views of the sea. The sea was rough and not swimmable during our stay, but we enjoyed the private pool and the main pool. The rooms/suite seemed recently refurbished with a lot of high tech amenities including high end sound system. You also get a complementary 15 min foor massage on arrival. Hospitality/service was on point. Dilmi warmly welcomed us and showed around the property. Our personal butler, Dinesh, made sure everything was in order. He was very courteous and accommodating. He made arrangements to serve us late breakfasts, almost brunch time, and made reservations for day outings. Bartender Silva was friendly and made us his special කරපිංචා (curry leaves) mojito (see photos). Food was the highlight for us. No "all you can eat buffet" but the all day dining alacarte menu was out of the world. We tried the seafood, kottu and Mutton dishes. The different kinds of butters served were interesting too (specially the කරපිංචා butter). Breakfast had two options, western and sri lankan. Breakfast was literally a buffet served to ur table. Dinesh kept on refilling our side dishes. All most all the ingredients for the dishes were locally sourced. The seared tuna and Mahi Mahi with tamarind sauce were our favorites. Complementary tea/coffee/hot chocolate twice a day was welcoming. We also tried the pink green tea after dinner. A perfect and relaxing getaway for couples. Two thumbs up for Jetwing Saman Villas staff!!

We started off our two weeklong vacation from the stay at Saman Villas and it was the best decision ever. Their hospitality was the best we have ever experienced at a hotel. The room (A Deluxe Suite with Pool) was spacious, comfy and equipped with all necessary amenities. The majestic view of the ocean from our pool was the cherry on top. The food was so good and out of this world. The sunset witnessed from the restaurant was the best I have ever seen. We also got a complimentary 15 min foot massage which was very relaxing. The staff at the spa were very friendly and courteous. We stayed at several renowned and highly recommended hotels in Sri Lanka during these two weeks and we can safely say that out of all of them Saman Villas came No. 1 with barely any competition. Special thanks to Ms. Gayathri and Mr. Dulara from the restaurant for making our stay so perfect and wonderful. We will definitely be planning another trip to SV really soon.

Simply stunning. The hotel and the staff are absolutely fantastic. The beaches that you can walk along, outside the hotel, are beautiful, and the rooms are 5 star. One of if not my favourite, place I stayed in in Sri Lanka, and I wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Amazing.

This is by far our favorite hotel. Thanks for all the amazing hospitality you have provided us. To start with, we requested an early check in and the staff accommodated that with no fuss. The villa was beyond amazing and we loved the peacefulness and the cleanliness of the place. Just so dreamy 😊 Also, in room dining experience was great as the staff put in a lot of effort in bringing the cutlery + food in and clean them for us. Hats off to the amazing chefs that prepared us mouthwatering dishes. Fine dining at at best! Loved all those small tweaks that they had done to the dishes. Eg- my husband loved the pol pani and cinnamon tea and we both enjoyed the lunu miris and curd combo. All the dishes were top notch. Last but not least, the staff was super amazing and friendly. Very pleasant. Also, we were offered a 15 min complimentary massage (that we could not use) which we consider very thoughtful. Definitely coming back the next time. I have posted stories and recommended the place to many friends.

Heaven on earth, literally! A private villa with an infinity pool towards the ocean that has its own private butler. Views for days. One could just literally live in a place like this forever. Such impeccable hospitality by everyone but all credits to Mr. Rushan for giving the stay it’s true beauty! I can’t think of another rare find like this which has everything on point — good people, delicious food, great hospitality, pleasant views and best spa. The foot massage was out of the world with the spa setting, water flowing and soothing music. I mentioned once and I’ll say it again, Mr. Rushan is such a caring and understanding man. What a fantastic location.. The views were just to die for. We, a family of 10, arrived there for lunch at about 3 pm. Not another soul in the dining area. We enquired if lunch would be available at that odd time. The maitre d obliged. Said everything was available and would be freshly prepared. Sure enough, we ordered so many things from the menu. Everything, literally everything was simply superb. So beautifully served and so lovely in taste. Next time would love to stay here and enjoy more of their hospitality and culinary delights.

A little piece of paradise! We had an amazing time with my family. The place is idyllic, the staff is attentive, the rooms are very comfortable, the food is amazing and I had one of the best massage ever in the spa. It's a quiet place not like many big resort with a lot of tourists. I highly recommend!

With its beautiful architecture and unique location, Saman Villa is a one of a kind. From the booking process to checking out everything went smoothly and the staff has been extremely helpful. With its breathtaking sea view and luxurious interior the room was nothing but exceptional. Saman Villa gives you one of the best dining experiences. A special thanks to the entire serving staff and cheff for being so flexible when it came to dining options and always checking on us to make sure we were having a pleasant time. An excellent resort to relax with a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean, a stunning pool and a long beautiful beach. Very helpful and very friendly staff who knew how to make our stay at Jetwing Saman Villas very comfortable. Special thanks to Nishantha who was assisting us all the time during our stay and provided us with a great service and to Dullar as well. The manager at the restaurant always made sure that we are comfortable and nothing is missing and he was very professional and friendly. Indika, the lifeguard at the pool was very nice to us . We had a very good experience at the SPA, the place is very peaceful. Comfortable and clean rooms. The food was very delicious. The resort organized a very nice trips for sightseeing and it was a beautiful experience. We will definitely go back to this resort. Thank you very much Jetwing Saman villas team for making our experience in Sri Lanka unforgettable and wonderful.

Great place to experience The service was great and the even the food was really good. It had infinity pool and our villa had a private infinity pool too It is expensive but it was worth the amount paid. They did arrange a special dinner for us which was great.

Saman Villa is Located on a beautiful rock cape towards the Southern Seas of Sri Lanka , Beautiful Warahena beach area in Bentota. Spectacular Views of Beautiful Sri Lanka and bordering Indian Ocean are unbelievable. The Architecture of the place is breathtaking , By entering the premises it brings nostalgia, cozy warmth feeling . The Rooms or the villa Suits Have few categories where Delux Balcony rooms and Suits with Private Pool rooms . Inside the room ample space, carefully designed to give a maximum coziness with contemporary aesthetics. Pool villa's main attraction is private pool , on the Northside located villas of the Hotel overlooking the Sea has an amazing tropical view. Beds are so comfortable and cozy. Bathrooms with Bath tub and showers are lavishly spacious. Room has a very quality sound system but you can not connect through bluetooth to phone . It has a cofee machine but no choice is you are Tea person. Super Clean Rooms and linen etc. Room and bedding 5 out of 5. Staff experience wasn't the most impressive during my stay , as firstly there were some discrepancies in the price as they initially quoted a low price and ended up with a higher. Our visit was very casual unplanned one but the person at front office was more inquisitive rather than welcoming and strangely he came with a POS card machine to charge the fee even before we entered the room . it was quite awkward and unwelcoming. Upper level staff more likely intimidating they are overwhelmed and over confident about what they do reluctantly attending the guest concerns. Staff 2 out of 5. They have a nice spa and they are generous to offer a 15 min complimentary foot massage. It was very good and the spa setting is pretty nice you feel more calm and free inside. Therapists was Manori and Chamila very polite and very professional, done the massage superbly. It's 5 out of 5. Main attention and concern is poor food quality. Unacceptable for boutique villa which has won the islands best boutique Hotel award many times . We selected in-room Dining where we order Caeser Salad which wasn't in their menu but they undertook it which was very poor presentation and preparation as it was only lettuce soaked in plenty of mayonnaise and one egg, no croutons olive garlic etc . Other worst dish was their Mutton Leg - It was a steamed type of meat chunk no taste at all and the presentation was disgusting, even I doubted its beef instead Mutton, a supervisor came and assured its mutton and they replaced the dish with a Chicken wrap which also wasn't at a good taste, wrap was drenched in sauces no standard at all. Morning Breakfast was a set Menu in for Sri Lankan option they offered many items but taste wasn't the way which expected at a five start hotel . Their black cofee is definitely an espresso too strong for a cofee , when we complained it F&B Manager said this the way we present it by raising his voice. Throughout that attitude of the upper staff was unaccommodating. Minor staff is polite and apologizing. Food was 1 out of 5. I wish the Jetwing one of the famous Hoteliers in Sri Lanka will look in to the shortcomings and improve the necessary areas to make Saman Villas stay much comfortable and unforgettable.

This resort is absolutely beautiful. It has to be noted that it is not ADA accessible; there are many steps with no elevators but few hand rails. Despite, the property is wonderful, and the staff are all wonderful. Every day, we had breakfast on our terrace, which overlooked the beach. I wish there was a bigger menu with more local items to choose from, as we didn't dine out most nights.Unfortunately, the hotel was less than half booked when we were there. I'd love to see more people visit here. The only other negative was the bathroom got very hot and humid, as the AC does not reach there and there is no fan. The ceiling is open above the bath tub, so all the hot air comes in. It would be nice to have a fan in the bathroom.

Great place for a quick getaway if you are a local and a fantastic place to visit of you are not from Sri Lanka! Beautiful place right by the sea with an infinity pool. Comfortable rooms with modern sound systems. The only downside is it has one restaurant with limited choices. However there are ton of sea food restaurants nearby if you are a foodie.

This was our first time to Sri Lanka and will not be our last! The staff are the most friendly and lovely people ever imaginable, nothing is ever too much trouble! This location is pure paradise, beaches either side that are breathtaking, peaceful and quiet! The food/dining is also at the highest level, so rare to have an amazing hotel that also has fine dining! It’s easy to thank the restaurant staff, but thanks must also go to the people who prepared our room everyday, with beautiful messages created in stunning flowers. Thanks also to the lovely guys who serviced our pool daily to perfection, the gardeners who keep the hotel grounds immaculate at all times, the front of house who catered for our every wish without question! We have made so many friends during our stay at this most wonderful boutique destination. From meeting our dear new friend Charlie at the airport, our entire stay was beyond perfect! We had our wedding here. Wester and his team are outstanding. The location is stunning, the rooms are gorgeous and the food is incredible.

We have just returned from our holiday in Saman Villas and what an incredible stay it was. The hotel was spectacular, set upon a rocky outcrop surrounded by the sea. You are engulfed by the crashing waves which is so relaxing. The infinity pool looks over miles and miles of pristine beaches. The rooms were state of the art with lighting moods to fit every occasion. The breakfast and dinner were incredible. All staff were so attentive to our needs, special mention to Indika, Ishan, Eranga and the restaurant staff and restaurant manager who went above and beyond during our stay. Dilshan and Dharmika in the spa gave 2 of the best massages of my life and I would happily jetset over again to see them! We had an amazing time and we are truly thankful for everyones's hospitality here!

A wonderful location with ideal amenities. We stayed in a luxurious beachfront room a very tidy, spacious room with expensive furnishings. Magical view, scrumptious foods enjoyed every last bite of the meal. Friendly staff and we had a great experience. Excellent location very relaxing and welcoming 😊

Amazing villa with great private pool and lovely bath. Food was average (although breakfast was good) and New Years Eve party (500.00 pounds) was disappointing. However, location is amazing and beaches are great - just don't try to swim in the surf as it's very rough!! It's expensive at 750.00 a night but was very relaxing and enjoyable due to the private villa and great location.
