BEARE OF THIEVES! They came into our rooms and robbed us while we were asleep, we assume by the staff. The management accused us of staging it to not having to pay our food bill, they held us captive in the hotel, even though our travel agency already took care of the bill. We fled from the property while the staff was chasing us and our kids in order to get our flight to Germany in time. There was no support from the Sri Lankan Tourist Board.

The place is very elegant, the owner has put quite a lot of effort on the interior which is superb, attention to detail is next level. Food is super, every dish is detailed and very customer centric. Rice and curry was really good, one of the best eggs benedicts. Whoever prepared the menu, for sure has ate well. Was in the walawwa suite, the private pool and dining was very nice. Simply one of the best vacations ever. Came for 2 days and we saw the place and extended it to another day. Great job team!

Absolutely delighted with our stay at Taru Villas Rock Villas! The stunning decor and warmth throughout the villas create an inviting atmosphere. The size and grandeur are breathtaking, especially the garden full of coconut trees, yet the ambiance is welcoming and not over the top. The customer service and attention to detail are exceptional. We've truly fallen in love with this gem and will definitely be back for more. Highly recommend! 🌟

I took my fiancée for her birthday here. It was an amazing experience. The villa is intimate and the interior is very nice. The food was amazing. We would say it was one of the best fine dining experiences and the service was very good too. It is a very private place and highly recommend it for couples and people who just want to relax.

Fantastic for relaxing at the Beach with friendly staff & good facilities The team at the restaurant especially Chef Gihen are superb & very accommodating to all our request. Unfortunately we were moved out of the room early (11am) and gave us a very small room. Also when we checked in the room AC was not working was fixed in over 6 hours, while we waited in the heat.

Simply marvelous the room was amazing the staff are helpful. Very peaceful and quiet, the food here is amazing too if you are looking to kick back and relax this is definitely worth looking into.

Even 5 stars don’t feel enough. The property is amazing, the grounds and gardens are elegant and soothing, the pool water is perfect. The attention to detail is superb. And the staff… they truly take the experience to the next level. So attentive, thoughtful and kind. This place is beyond amazing. I wish we didn’t have to leave.

It is the most quite and relaxing place, I've ever been. All staff and space are in the best understanding qualified as the best one. Kitchen perfect, portions are great! The beach is very clean and nobody will disturb you. The atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly and all your wishes are being listened ans accomplished by attentive staff!

Appreciate the cleanliness. Calm and quiet place. One of the best luxury villa by every aspect.

1. Hygiene problem. The room full of mosquitos, flies and spiders. 10 parts of my body got bit at the first night stay. If you don’t want to bring diseases back home, you should stay somewhere else. 2. Horrible management. Janitors left dirty cloth in the bathroom bench after clearing. Room cleaners did not place robes in the room, but the manager questioned us took robes( what???). So be aware of your own properties and their properties. You may get charged by their mistakes. 3. Noise. It is less than 10m from railway. You can barely sleep at night. Because trains passed from time to time, then came with the super noisy AC. 4. Horrible experience. We spent $666 to expect 5* room, but the room and service is about 3*. You can get much better service next door. Probably only 1/5 of the price.

Lovely setting for a romantic dinner. I called in advance to book as we weren’t in house guests. A little expensive but glad to have had the experience. Delicious ravioli and good cocktails. Two staff members were standing very close beside us at the bar talking amongst themselves throughout our dinner which made us a little uncomfortable. We would have liked a bit more peace and privacy.

Such a fantastic property and the service and food was excellent. The staff are so kind and accommodating, they really make you feel special. They have the best salted caramel semifreddo I have tasted in my life.

The Rock Villa is a small but wonderful hotel right by the coast. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with AC and fans available. The service is incredible, everyone is super friendly and nice, ready to help you in any way. You can easily spend a full week here and not get tired of the calmness, especially because the beach is right there. Ps: the fish curry served at breakfast is absolutely wonderful.
