After seven years we finally went to check out Woodstock properly. We’ve passed by here a few times but never explored it. They were setting up the lights for the show and that made us stop and get out of our car. It’s insane to think so many people were there, walked the ground that left a huge impact and mark in history. If you’re in the area check it out. The museum is $5 but you can walk the grounds or come to the Peace, Love and Lights show as well.

you can't help to be in awe of the hallowed grounds of the greatest musical happening in popular music. to stand at the top of these beautiful grounds and imagine what it was like to see THE WHO & CSNY and all the other great artist out on that stage with the mountains in the background and a sea of people at your feet. listening to the music carrying over the lands with 1/2 of million people sending a message to the world that all we need is LOVE. just remember this all happen without social media. that this many youth came from all over to tell the world we can be better.

Really enjoyed the Catbird fest this weekend. Enjoyed both established bands and some new bands too! My only complaint was a very long walk to the fest from our rv.

Excellent historic and entertaining. Loved all the recordings, pictures and exhibits. The grounds are also beautiful. Lunch from the cafe was delicious and inexpensive. A wonderful way to spend a day.

We decided to start our tour of this historic festival site at the monument. When we arrived, the only cat there was this man PEACE-fully sitting at a table. Little did I know, I was about to meet Duke Devlin “The man that never left Woodstock” We hung loose for a while, and it was cool to listen to some of Duke’s stories about his life and the Woodstock festival. We gave each other some skin, and can you dig-it, Duke gave us free passes to the Museum at Bethel Woods. Thank you Duke for making our visit to Woodstock a groovy and far out trip. ✌🏻

If you came to see the place of Woodstock, then you are a really beautiful people, you want peace. 50 years have passed, but do not forget that what you need is love, as the Beatles said. Everything that is happening now, the Ukrainian war, should not be like this! If we all want peace, the war will over. I am not British or American, but I just want to say that we Russians want peace no less than you do. It's very important now, in our difficult times, isn't it? So, peace and love for every being on the planet. And let it be! 🇺🇸❤🇺🇦❤🇷🇺❤🇻🇳☮🌎🌏🌍

A must visit spit for those who either lived thru the Era and or attended the historic event. The museum contains images, films, artifact and much more to enhance the visitor experience. The grounds are well maintained. The docents are very knowledgeable. The gift shop and food concession are wonderful. Plan a visit of at least 2 hours. The monument plaque is easy to locate.

Great museum that was excellent and modern. The staff was very friendly and it was quite clean. The only thing I would say is that the cafe was delicious but quite expensive.

Whether Aging Hippie or Millennial, the nostalgia at this place runs deep. I’m very happy that it’s being preserved and saved from condo or casino development.

The energy of place is groovy. I did the Behind the Scenes tour (guided by Ernie who was so much fun and full of cool facts) and the museum which laid out perfectly the timeline that led up to the historic Woodstock event. Unless you were there in 69, this is as close to Woodstock that you will get. I really hope to attend a concert someday at Bethel Woods.

Beautiful historical region of music, peace, love, where the great music personalities of that time met to mark the heart of memory.

We visited in early August the day Jimmy Buffett was playing at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Although I wasn't born when Woodstock was held, it was really cool to visit the site. We enjoyed the area and added our message to the sign.

Checked this off my bucket list. It was truly magical, I cried a few times. We went through the museum which was great. I want to go back after Covid to get the full experience. We walked all over the grounds. Stood in the field and the stage area. I felt truly at peace. Oh and it started to rain when we were in The Bindy Bazaars which was really cool.
