We
stayed
in
a
'Fabulous
Double'
room
at
Number
31
for
three
nights
to
conclude
a
three-week
holiday
in
England
and
Ireland.
We
were
very
pleased
with
the
room's
art
deco
decor,
the
comfortable
bed,
and
the
complimentary
toiletries.
Whilst
a
small
waste
bin
was
in
the
bathroom,
the
bedroom
would
have
also
benefited
from
a
separate
waste
bin,
but
this
was
its
only
fault.
The
hotel
facilities
are
lovely
and
we
enjoyed
the
beautiful
garden,
the
sunken
living
room
and
fireplace,
and
the
honesty
bar.
Breakfast
was
included
and
made
to
order
each
morning.
Given
the
warm
weather,
we
enjoyed
sitting
under
the
awning
in
the
sunshine
to
take
our
breakfast.
The
service
was
a
little
divided.
Breakfast
staff
were
always
attentive
and
Agatha
who
checked
us
in
was
very
professional
and
solicitous
whenever
we
saw
her.
A
couple
of
other
members
of
staff
-
one
male,
one
female
-
were
rather
indifferent,
or
to
be
perfectly
blunt,
quite
standoffish,
which
was
a
shame.
On
the
balance
of
averages,
the
good
far
outweighed
the
bad
and
we
were
satisfied
guests
who
would
certainly
stay
at
this
establishment
again.
