My hubby and I were in town, I have never been and wanted to try Spago. Starters…the root vegetable salad only had a few foot vegetables with potato, it was good but not great. My hubby had the risotto which was also good but not great. Both starters lacked flavor. Entrees…I had the veal chop which was very flavorful and cooked perfectly but vegetable portion was teeny tiny. My hubby had the red snapper which was apparently delicious because I only ended up with a small bite of it (lol, my little bite was yummy). We shared the cheesecake for dessert which was great. Cocktails were good but nothing too exciting. Service was good but found ourselves looking for help occasionally while our server was talking in the corner. We were sat in the outside area by the wall which was a little chilly. Overall the experience was good but not exceptional for the money. I can say I’ve been here but wouldn’t be interested in coming back if given the opportunity.

Had a great time at this legendary LA eatery for my birthday. I think the tuna cones and the salmon pizza were excellent but I was a little disappointed in the angelotti and the schnitzel courses, though. The pasta did not come quite warm enough for my liking and the breading of the schnitzel came off a little too easily. Both were still quite enjoyable, but I think did not quite meet my expectations of such a legendary and tbh expensive restaurant. It was a tremendous pleasure and surprise meeting Wolfgang himself as soon as I walked into the dining room. I would still recommend Spago to anyone looking to treat themselves to an elevated dining experience.

On a quick work trip to LA I hit up a friend to see what great foodie adventure we could go on. She recommended Spago and so I told her to meet me there! Apparently this is one hip place. It is THE flagship restaurant by Wolfgang Puck and one of THE restaurants to eat in town. It is a place to see and be seen. This is all well and good but finding out this info from a colleague from the area as I was about to jump into my Lyft to the restaurant was not so... I definitely didn't dress up and was more like Sunday comfy casual at home dressed. Fortunately there wasn't a dress code and I got in just fine. PHEW! Anyway, when I arrived at the establishment I was quickly greeted and taken to my seat. The reservation was for a swanky curved fabric couch dining area in their outdoor tent, which was more appealing than the brick and mortar indoor dining. Unfortunately, I was informed Spago was going to take the tent down in the near future so if you want to experience this magical outdoor experience you better go soon. It might even be too late by this post. Service and the food here was wonderful. Our server William was very attentive and extremely helpful in picking out a well balanced gastronomic experience. Every dish we tried was full of flavor with very generous portions. The pan roasted scallops with butter poached lobster is fantastic if you are into seafood. We had the Sea Bass as our main and it was delicious too. There are so many wonderful things on the menu I recommend just ordering and trying as many as you can. Like the dessert menu had so many great options we decided to order 3 of them! I suggest you do the same so you will leave with no regrets ;). Overall the staff, food and ambiance at Spago is excellent. It is a reflection of the high standards that make this the Flagship restaurant. So if you are ever in Beverly Hills and want a fun hip place to eat make sure to check out Spago.

No surprise that Spago was an all-around 5 star experience. Everything was perfect. The food was incredible. Simple enough menu but everything is done with the best ingredients and with a little twist which makes it delicious. And I was able to have chocolate soufflé for dessert, I don’t know the last time I saw that on the menu… so happy!

Absolutely wonderful meals my husband and I had this evening. Desserts were very pretty and tasted so delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the best parts of the evening at SpagoBH, was sitting next to an awesome, very famous actor all evening and getting a chance to speak with him a bit before the close of the night. Cheers

Spago Beverly Hills is an absolute gem that deserves nothing less than a 5-star review. From the moment we stepped in, the friendly and incredibly welcoming service made us feel like cherished guests. The 8-course tasting menu was a culinary journey that left our taste buds dancing with delight. Each dish was not only a symphony of flavors but also a work of art, with visually inspiring presentations that heightened the dining experience. The casual yet elegantly designed courtyard seating added a touch of enchantment to the evening, and the staff's meticulous attention to every detail further elevated our celebration. Spago Beverly Hills is undoubtedly a haven for gastronomic enthusiasts seeking a perfect blend of impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a memorable ambiance. 2013 - Review - Spago Beverly Hills, along Canon Drive is truly the Flagship of Wolfgang Puck's dining group of restaurants. The renovation in 2012 by Waldo’s Designs created a sleek and simple design enhancing the location's iconic, market-driven menus and exceptional level of service and atmosphere. We have thoroughly enjoyed both the lunch and dinner seasonal a la carte menus as well as the multi-course California Tasting Menu. Without hesitation Spago's has our highest recommendation anytime you are dinning in the Beverly Hills area. Vegetarian options: Chef is very accommodating of any/all dietary restrictions and the staff always ask to insure your dinning experience is delightful in every regard. Parking: Valet parking is very convenient right at the entrance and the turn-around loop makes arrival very easy. Be prepared for extra time on very busy nights. Dietary restrictions: Chef is very accommodating of any/all dietary restrictions and the staff always ask to insure your dinning experience is delightful in every regard.

It’s definitely a must eat restaurant when you visit Rodeo Drive or Beverly Hills. We reserved a table on OpenTable. The foods had a very rich and flavorful taste that none of the dish tasted boring. We ordered a smoked salmon pizza, pasta beef cheek stew, spicy big eye tuna tartare cones, and crispy scale Black Sea bass. They gave a lot of salmons on the top of pizza and put slices of red onions and cream cheese spread underneath. The sauce of beef stew pasta was rich and savory. The tuna tartare cones were really impressive that they put not only tuna but also fish roe, scallion, and sesame too. The sea bass had a crispy skin, and the fish meat was fresh and sweet. Overall, the service was really excellent. The the foods were really impressive!! I would definitely recommend it

I am not sure I can put into words my experience at Spago. My girlfriend and I did the summer 22 tasting menu and it was mind blowing. We had anticipated to do the normal Spago dishes, the salmon pizza, schnitzel, etc. However, we decided to give the tasting menu a try and I have to recommend it to anyone who goes. The dishes were inventive, delicious and changed the way we think about food. The dishes were all comprised of great ingredients, many with a wild twist, such as the scallops that were turned into noodles for carbonara which is my all time favorite restaurant dish. In addition to the superb food, the service and atmosphere were both excellent. Next time we are in LA we'll be back!

Had a great time! Visited LA unexpectedly with little notice we were able to make reservations a day before. Little odd they still have a tent structure up and seating inside too but wasn't really busy. Service was good sorry pictures are off color my phone was giving me problems.

We had an absolutely wonderful night at Spago. Service was very attentive and the food was coming out quick! We enjoyed everything we ate, but the star was the chicken main, which is very unexpected (since it's just chicken, right?). Special shout out goes to the bartender because both cocktails we got were outstanding! We'd definitely come again. Funny mishap happened during our meal, where our sparking water glasses were refilled with still water (which made it taste a little weird). It was just a misunderstanding as we no longer had the sparking water bottle o and our table, but probably something they can improve in their process there 😅

I’m very pleased that my man took me here for our special Sundate night, plus a complimentary champagne is an impressive one! We both really enjoyed the black caviar and loved the crispy scale black sea bass - sublimely aromatic on the palate. Finest delicate ingredients were highlighted, aesthetically slick presentations, heartwarming atmosphere and delightful ambiance with plenty of open fireplaces & candles lit all around. Very intimate. Courteous staffs, they went above and beyond to ensure we’re satisfied. One of the staffs captured some lovely pictures of us and I’m really grateful for that. Service-wise was fantastic, however, we were hoping for a refinement in the chocolate cake (mediocre flavor, no wow-factor, soggy gooey texture?) ; and also improvement in time management since we waited for the first dish a bit longer than we anticipated. Overall, Spago is a five-star for me, an absolute MUST try, sensational fine dining spotlight in Beverly Hills!💕🥂✨

The food and drinks at Spago not only come with their one-of-a-kind artistic presentation, but also savory. It is truly a delicacy! The best part is that Chef Wolfgang Puck occasionally makes a surprise visit at your table if he is in town. I am so glad that I got to chat and meet him in person. We even exchanged the signed copies of our books. The service there was attentive and personal! The whole dining experience at Spago was truly remarkable and memorable!

Wonderful restaurant. Everything was just delicious. Our server Bryan was such a pleasure gave us recommendations and was not wrong at all. We had the crispy scale sea bass, grilled marcho veal chop, kunbuta pork chop and the austrian veal weinerzchnitzel. Before all this we started with spicy tuna tar tar cones, agnolotti de plin and pizza with smoked salmon to die for. To finish off the best for last, dessert. We finished off with basque cheese cake and the Kaiserschmarren is simply the best. What a wonderful adventure. All too delicious i just could not say which was better because they were all great. Thank you Spago BH. Thank you Wolfgang Puck, and thank you Bryan.

Have to say that this spot was definitely outstanding and one of the best that I have been to in Beverly Hills. From the phenomenal service to the spectacular food, this spot checks all the boxes. The interior of the restaurant appears to still be used for large groups and events while the outdoor area (built during the pandemic) is used as the standard dining room. I did not find it an issue whatsoever and kind of preferred it. In terms of food, I would highly recommend the Pizza with House Cured Smoked Scottish Salmon and the Austrian Veal Weinerschnitzel. The cocktails are also equally stunning as they are delicious. We were also graced with the opportunity to meet Wolfgang Puck as he was making his way throughout the dining room; it was truly a remarkable experience. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.

This is an A-1 restaurant from the well known chef Wolfgang Puck. He is not only an excellent chef, but a very nice person. He came to the table to say hello and share with the customers. Ambiance is superb, as well as the food and service. The wine selection very extensive.

I performed here with my guitarist friend as a violin guitar duo. I also come here regularly as a happy customer to enjoy their delightful menu of yummy dishes. Love the staff and the restaurant. Not only are they classy and gracious, but their food was delicious. I adored the manager and staff and look forward to coming back. Come here if you like Italian food, great vibes, wonderful staff, and would live to be treated as a priceless guest. A date night is ideal for here as well!

A great fine dining option around beverly hills as well as place for anniversary or birthday celebrations. There was always a little wait even you made the reservation beforehand. Yet, you can always kill the time at the bar areas where you can find a few sofas. The food is up to standard depends on the rotating items that you got for the season. Eg the crispy scale black bass is my fav but you cannot get it all the time because they rotated the menu. Tuna cone and pizzas are also must try and the wine list is also one of the best. I also personally recommend the bread roll before entree, soft & sweet & milky. Sashimi is also highly recommended. In short, it's a safe option for special occassion especially if you run into the best items in menu.

Having had so much hype around this restaurant for over twenty years, I’m happy to report that Spago is still a fantastic experience. The staff is so personable and friendly, smart, even quick-witted. In a city where getting great service is nearly extinct, this beautiful venue delights. The food was just terrific, I had the veal chop and it was the best I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back.

We haven’t been to Spago in years and I was pleasantly surprised that after all this time it is still stellar! They happened to be under renovations when we went but they did an amazing job of hiding it. It in no way detracted from the evening. The bar was small because of the construction but that made it cozy and wonderful. The bartenders were awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We were a party of 5 plus a baby so my man and I had a cocktail at the bar before everyone else arrived. They had a high chair for us and were very accommodating. The food was incredible! We had the duck, the risotto for the baby, pasta (made in house), salmon pizza (omg), tuna cones (wow!), steak and veal. We were celebrating 3 birthdays and they went overboard with the desserts ! The vanilla soufflé was literally to die for and they even had my absolute fave ice cream - mint chocolate chip! The highlight of the evening was when Wolfgang Puck himself stopped by the table! What a nice, sweet, friendly, unassuming man! Amazing evening !

We celebrated a birthday to remember at Spago Beverly Hills. I am a foodie at heart, and Wolfgang Puck never ceases to amaze me. Spago’s menu boasts an eclectic array of dishes that combine ingredients like yolk jam with caviar and carefully crafted house chili soy with bass, all filled with flavors that leave you breathless with a presentation that parallels any beautiful art exhibit. As if that isn’t spectacular enough, you find yourself enveloped in the exquisite culture that Wolfgang Puck creates. It is clear that his employees are proud of the work that they do. They are not just there to serve food; they are there to create experiences — and they are exceptional at what they do. Every time I have visited Spago, it has been an experience well beyond my expectations. Thank you to all of our servers tonight for the great conversation, the thoughtful recommendations, and the excellent service, and a special thank you to the general manager, Steve Scott Springer for making this evening extra special for three girls from Minnesota! We are ever so grateful for a birthday celebration that will not be forgotten!

The food was amazing. Wolfgang came around himself to greet guests. Great for private events. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu . Things that you would not traditionally like, try! The salmon pizza is a perfect example. Unbelievable.

We celebrated our anniversary yesterday at Spago and it was fantastic. The food was incredible and the service great. Our server Chelsea was excellent and attentive at all times. The restaurant is a bit expensive but the food, the service and the experience is worth it.

Great locally sourced ingredients. Start at the bar with an incredible cocktails or bubbles and move onto the main dining area. Great for a celebratory dinner or romantic date night. Perfect lighting. An LA classic! the food is always consistently delicious and the service 5 star without being too stuffy.

No words can adequately describe Spago. Everything is so well thought out. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted, and the experience starts with the play list and the gentle smiles from the waiters, and bussers. My wife and I, Celebrated our 40th weeding anniversary with no hesitation, we chose Spago, in BH. The best 7 course dinner experience you could ever ask for. Every dish exquisitely prepared with the most fresh local ingredients and the serving plates are an art form that complemented each course. They make you feel at home from the second you walk in the doors until the second you step out. Food is absolutely amazing. I have been to a lot of 3, 2 and 1 Michelin star restaurants, and this is by far the best one. Steve, and Jason, made our anniversary dinner a dream come true. Not to only mention that the chef came out and made sure that our culinary experience was up to our expectations. Just an amazing experience. Hard to compare to other restaurants since this is a memory for life. The food, is of course unbelievable amazing, all seven of the dishes are the best thing I’ve tasted in my life. Just go there, don't miss out. If you are looking for a restaurant that gives you an experience that you will remember the rest of your life this is it. Thank you for your hospitality Steve and Staff!

The food was unbelievable! We had the bread initially, it’s so delicious - specially the one on the box with sun dried tomatoes. Then we shared the pasta with mascarpone cheese and white corn, we ate it all! So sweet and soft! Then we had the entres and share the truffle fries - crispy and delicious. Lastly, we had the chocolate soufflé and the white chocolate crème brûlée. We left with a big smile in our faces, the service was excellent and the ambiance was gorgeous. Lots of good looking people having dinner there, nice dressed and happy mood in the place.

My first Wolfgang Puck restaurant dining. Expensive for a “meh” experience. I don’t know why ginger is prominent ingredient just because its Asian fusion. I had the veal which I felt was well done although I ordered medium. Only interesting dish was butternut chawanmushi which had generous portion of uni. We were table of 2 and unfortunately seated right next to busy service area. The floor boards were constantly shaking! I was given free dessert for that unpleasant experience. Overall we were not impressed. Wouldn’t be looking to go to another Wolfgang restaurant unless invited .

Fantastic meal and amazing ambiance. Was particularly impressed by one of the seasonal menu items (white asparagus). I imagine seasonal dishes like that will always be a good choice at a restaurant like this.

Had an absolutely incredible time at spago. Service was excellent, food was delicious and came very quickly. By far the highlight of the meal was the desert which absolutely blew me away. Would absolutely return again and with good company.

Came here for an evening out with a couple of friends. It was something I'd been wanting to do since prior to the pandemic and here I finally was. There is a temporary outdoor marquee area plus the formal dining experience in the original building.. our table was situated in the 'courtyard' of the original venue and it was perfect. Log fires and fairy lights and ambient music .. plus it wasn't too crowded and there was a feeling of space so it was all very relaxed. I ordered a pizza with prosciutto and my friend irdered a smoked salmon pizza w caviar. I tried both and they were divine. We also ordered some honey glazed sprouts on side which were also incredibly delicious. For dessert we both ordered the chocolate soufflé which was a whole other experience & one which was rather entertaining as the kitchen hands served them up on the plate at the table fresh out the pan. It was extremely delicious. The wine was also perfect to accompany the meal. In terms of the food I would rate it 10/10. The only let down was that the service was a bit slow and the waiter wasn't overly attentive and I had to ask other servers to find him. On the flip side it felt a bit rushed when servers went to clear our plates at the table before we'd actually finished the meal. They dont seem to be aware of cutlery 'etiquette' from Europe signalling when a plate is finished with. But overall we had an amazing evening and we will definitely come back here.
