Very
badly
managed
hospital!
REGISTRATION
-
Rs
5
-
Reach
hospital
by
8:30am.
Two
counters
each
for
male
and
female.
GENERAL
OPD
25/26
It
is
shocking
to
see
that
entrance
of
two
OPDs
-
Mens
(25)
and
Womens
(26)
-
are
located
in
the
lawn
outside
the
hospital
building!
People
decide
to
go
to
private
clinics
after
seeing
the
queues
here!
NO
SEATING
FACILITY
NO
TOKEN
SYSTEM
In
such
a
huge
hospital
campus,
why
can't
the
management
arrange
for
an
OPD
block
with
seating
facility
and
token
system?
Very
sad!
BEWARE
OF
JUNIOR
DOCTORS
The
first
ones
who
usually
come
to
OPDs
are
not
senior
doctors,
but
junior
doctors/medical
students.
Senior
doctors
usually
don't
sit
in
the
OPDs.
Avoid
those
people
without
stethoscopes
and
don't
look
like
doctors.
Some
doctors
even
come
to
OPD
with
their
NEET
preparation
books
and
read
them
even
while
patients
are
queued
outside.
DOCTOR
NAMES?
TRANSPARENCY?
ACCOUNTABILITY?
The
patient
is
given
no
information
of
the
doctor
who
attended
them!
The
nurse
just
seals
the
prescription
of
all
patients
with
the
same
doctor
seal!
Doctors
come
and
go
as
they
wish
and
have
their
own
private
clinic
business
running
parallely.
Government
should
take
strict
action
against
such
irresponsible
"servants."
REPORT
COLLECTION
Reports
of
previous
day
only
arrive
next
day
9:30am.
After
the
reports
arrive,
the
attenders
take
about
half
hour
to
arrange
the
reports
in
order.
DON'T
COME
ALONE!
Always
have
your
men
standing
in
OPD
queue
while
you're
doing
registration/collecting
reports/doing
basic
tests,
etc.
to
save
time.
Never
come
alone
to
this
huge
hospital!
ECG
-
ROOM
5
You
need
to
pay
Rs.50
to
get
your
ECG
done
in
room
5.
I
can't
believe
Government
Medical
College
is
charging
Rs.50
from
the
poor
to
get
their
ECG
done!
BP,
BLOOD
SUGAR
-
ROOM
55/29
Automated
blood
pressure
and
blood
sugar
testing
is
done
free
of
charge
at
room
55.
You
must
come
here
with
doctor
presciption
stamped
by
the
nurse
in
the
OPD.
Come
fasting
for
these
tests.
CARDIOLOGY
It
seems
the
cardio
doctor
Dr.
Sumit
Shankar
only
sits
once
a
week
on
Mondays
10am-1pm.
He
is
busy
running
his
own
private
cardio
clinic
business
in
Tilkamanjhi.
Hence,
patients
who
come
with
heart
problems
are
sent
to
General
OPD
to
junior
doctors
or
medical
students.
Welcome
to
Bhagalpur!
ENDOSCOPY
SURGERY
Endoscopy
facility
is
available
here
ONLY
on
MONDAYS
and
THURSDAYS!
You
have
to
come
without
eating
or
drinking
anything.
But
the
sisters
tell
that
the
doctor
has
told
them
he'll
only
do
5
endoscopies
per
day!
Hence
they
only
take
the
names
of
first
5
who
come
to
them
before
8am.
The
doctor
comes
and
does
the
surgeries
only
by
12-1pm.
This
is
ridiculous!
This
means
Medical
College
Mayaganj
hospital
does
10
endoscopies
per
week?
Totally
unacceptable.
Inorder
to
do
endoscopy,
you
must
first
have
reports
of
Covid
test
and
HIV
test,
which
arrive
only
by
10am.
Hence,
you'll
need
to
visit
again
another
day
for
the
test
since
5
seats
would
already
be
full.
ORTHO
-
OPD
22
Worst
experience.
Rude
behaviour.
I
left
this
place
and
went
straight
to
Dr.
Uday
Shankar
Bhagat's
clinic
nearby
Manali
chowk.
Good
medical
service
at
reasonable
cost!
Hope
this
helps
someone
seeking
help
with
related
to
Ortho
related
issues
or
surgeries.
EMERGENCY
DEPARTMENT
Only
go
to
this
hospital
incase
of
any
emergency
since
their
Emergency
department
is
really
good.
