It is a very famous temple in the area dedicated to Bishahri Ma, a goddess related to a popular folklore of the ancient Anga Janpad. The temple samiti organises Bishahri Mela every year during Bishahri Puja held around August-September. Idols and scenes(jhanki) from the story of Behula and Lakhinder are displayed too. Young children can find a wide array of local toys to play with, local swings and rides to enjoy, and local street delicacies to relish upon.
