It has been always a great experience here at Varudi Khodiyar Kathiyavadi restaurant on SG highway near Gota. On weekdays you won't need to wait here but on weekends usually you would see unavailability of sits but you wouldn't require to wait for more than 15 minutes. Within five to ten minutes you will get your sit. Ambience, service and food is wonderful. I have visited this restaurant 7 times in last 1 and half years with my family, colleagues, friends and also alone! I would love to call my self a fan of this restaurant.

Mostly very crowded in the evenings and has an average wait time of 20 mins but it's worth the wait to savour some delicious Gujarati and Kathyawadi dishes. Prices are reasonable, not much wait time to get your food on the table once ordered. Has plenty of options to choose from Parking space is free and can be parked in the road. Rotis are made fresh and is kinda live kitchen concept for people to see where the rotis and few other dishes are prepared. Overall a very good restaurant to drop by in Ahmedabad.

I could really feel, why this place is super hyped and the most reviewed place. This restaurant serves authentic kathiyawadi food ! Apart from that they do have a lot of other options to relish from We tried their lacha Paratha and roti with Baigan ka bhartha and Sev tomator. I really loved their Sev tomator, but Bhaigan ka bhartha, I have tried the better ones than one in other places. Their dal khichadi is super yum. Their famous start combo is masala papad with buttermilk. Never miss out that They have 3 seating areas, one is like a dhaba cot to have the authentic experience, second is normal restaurant seating and third is garden, where after food, you can chill some time with your family and friends

This place known for serving authentic kathiyawadi food. I am visiting this place since 2015 and forgot the visit counts. They have two types of sitting arrangements, khatla (charpai) and chairs. Staff are very supportive and always ready for help. This place is very underrated. If you love kathiyawadi food then don't miss this place.

The Kathiyawadi food was delicious, the pubjabi ones was sort of okay! Altogether we can say the food was worth the money! I would recommend cheese lilli Dungli sabji to try once!

Kathiyawadi special. Tried kachi keri nu shak & bharela ringan. Both sabji was ok ok. One was more sweet & other was too spicy with lack of taste. One can try methi bajri vada. It was superb. Sitting arrangement was without AC so outdoor sitting was made.

We have tried the Varudi Special Dalbaati... It's look great and spice. Overall it's a good test. Most of the people's are coming her for eat Dalbaati and Varudi Limited Gujarati and Punjabi Dish. Overall it's great experience with staff are well behavior and supportive. Very clean and they are follow the Covid 19 guidelines. Normally here on Saturday and Sunday I you have time you can try it. And yes if you are in hurry, in that case also the Daalbati can be serve within 10-15 minutes of time. Must try it...
