I visited Hotel Satkar Grande for a wedding at a Banquet Hall on the Ground Floor. It is very well connected by Road (10 Minutes from Mulund Check Naka) and by Rail (10 Minutes from Thane Railway Station). 1) The Banquet hall is spacious and well maintained 2) The wedding arrangements were properly done. 3) The Hotel also has rooms which are neat and clean. 4) The service staff was good. 5) Food quality is good. Breakfast, Starters, Lunch was perfect. 6) Air conditioning is proper. 7) It has ample space for parking. 8) Light arrangement is adequate. 9) It has a basement Buffer which is arranged systematically. 10) The restrooms are clean and well maintained. 11) Lifts are fully functional. 12) The hotel staffs are courteous and helpful.

This review is about the restaurant in the hotel, not about the rooms, etc. The restaurant is quite big. Surprisingly on a Saturday, I and m y friend were the only two there for lunch. We were told that due to Shravan month and also that on week ends there are not many occupants in the hotel (being a business area hotel) the footfall was low. Nonetheless, we were happy that we went there. The place is nicely decorated, with view of the side road but no noise disturbance. The food was good and reasonably priced. The menu is multi-cuisine and the drinks option is also decent. The service was also good. Overall a good experience, worth repeating a visit.

We had a wedding planned in the hall and we had a very mixed review during the event. 1. The decorator promised to add chairs if the crowd increased at the venue but he didn't add chairs on the event date. People were left standing during the event. 2. We had an estimate of 360 to 400 guests and confirmed for 360 guests. The hotel had confirmed that they have capability to cater upto 400 guests. The food was good for the first few guests however the quality dipped substantially towards the end. We had asked for moong daal halwa in our sweet selection however they didn't prepare sufficient halwa for 250 guests. They bought in replacements sheera which had gone bad. They bought in replacements gulabjam which were insufficient. They kept burnt moongdaal halwa at one point. 3. We were promised 2 changing rooms in the hotel however, they gave one room in the hotel and 1 service room since they couldn't locate the keys to the second room. Overall the ambience and the people deployed are good but the food quality and taste is what people remember.

Waste of money in buffet. Food quality is not upto the mark as compared to per head charges. Only dal- rice & Gulab jamun was good. Served chicken soup without chicken ...lot of water mixed in rabdi...even ice-cream quality was bad.( More ice than cream).

Great place to have your family functions. The hall can accommodate a crowd of 100-150max. The service is really nice and the Food is excellent. They have a good amount of parking space so no worries about getting your car here. The location is also good and close to the main road.

We had been for dinner today, it was horrible experience. It took almost four hours to complete dinner and come out. There was no staff at all, we wanted to meet manager but he was missing all the time. Each and every item was served delayed including water and surprisingly bill came in two minutes!! Really horrible 😑

I went for a wedding reception. The location is good near to mulund check naka . Easyly accessible for anyone. The hall is good n spacious. Looks awesome. The Big let down is the food. I had Naan which was not cooked properly, panner had no taste to it. Icecream served was butterscotch which was not up to mark. In all food was a major let down.

It is a good space to cater to family banquet needs. Can host 2 parties simultaneously. The breakfast spread is good that comes along with accommodations. Need to work on fire safety and insulation. My last stay had a fire incident in the room. Electricals inside room such as the water heater and blowers are non functional.

We have booked the banquet at this hotel for the corporate meeting The hall has yellow lights which are not so bright which somewhere gives a dull feeling. The quality of the hall is ok. This was my 8th event in Mumbai in the last 30 days And never experienced poor services like this They did not keep the tea after 30 mins of the event the reason they give is tea is not served with food. Tho we have planned a High tea. The food was ok nothing much to say The location is good and near the highway, this is the best part On the name of cookies, they kept good day biscuits No toffee on the table After our request, they gave us a pencil to write on a notepad.

Very good hotel to stay in Thane. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean. The service is good too. The staff is courteous and helpful. A couple of things they could improve upon are - 1. The quality of telephone instruments... It was extremely difficult to hear the other side. 2. There must be a kind of in-house directory of numbers to call for room service, housekeeping etc... 3. Should provide newspaper in the morning. Rest everything is praiseworthy.

Stayed for 2N/3D...great staff at the reception, will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. We faced some issues with not getting hot water from the faucets but the staff did a commendable job at fixing the problem. The breakfast menu was limited to 4 veg and 2 n-veg items with the regular beverages but compensated with good taste. Only the free channels are aired on TV... the washroom is clean and tidy so are the beds and comforters...the room service is quite slow and needs to be improved...last but not the least, a life saver at the reception, 'Sunit' whose presence of mind saved my 4 year old from wandering in an open lift, God bless him! With kids, ones' got to be careful and would suggest having a liftman but that applies for the building.... in a nutshell, enjoyed the stay.

I really liked the place. This review is for the hall and food only. I was here for a family function in one of Satkar's Banquet halls. The hall was small and cosy. The starters were delicious. The main course and dessert was a standard affair. The place wasn't out-of-the-world but it was bang for the buck.

Good place however the location entrance is shown from a small lane and hence person has to again come out and enter from the main road. Inside hotel is good however the food is ok. Nothing great. Was there in the banquet for a wedding.

So the staff behaves like a hostel principal when two extra guests come to visit you. They claim that as per the policy, guests are not allowed post evening. They constantly harass you by making calls to vacate the guests.All this is when the guests are not making any noise or creating nuisance. This is highly uncalled for and needs a policy change. Staff was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Even after waiting for 3 hours at the lobby I made a special request while booking to make available a room for early checkin on a special request ,to which receptionist Lata and morning staff pravin kept denying... saying NO room Available...All hotel SOLD Out.. Whrn asked in detail they wanted a EXTRA Charge.. For early checkin.. Arrogant and Irresponsible staff. Which cannot be true...to HELP and BE STRAIGHT . BUT WHY LIES...

Location of this hotel is close to teen haath naka and around 15 minutes riding distance by autorickshaw. One may be fleeced with tampered fare meters by Thane auto drivers who may claim innocence on the exact location. Better avoid that auto drivers and only pay Rs.50/- max.

One of the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel!!! We booked four rooms for one night for the bridegroom's family arriving from Pune. We were told that the hotel check-in time is 12 noon. We reached the hotel at 12:25 pm. Ms Lata, the desk manager, told us, pretty arrogantly, that the rooms are not ready and will take another 1 ½ hours. We were shocked to hear this and requested her to get the rooms ready quickly. When we returned after some time, to our surprise, we found that not a single room was ready for the guests. We also spoke to the manager, Mr Sandeep Shetty, but no one addressed our concerns. After a lot of loud arguments, Ms Lata finally left her seat to look into the matter. Eventually, we had to personally push the cleaning staff to get the rooms ready on priority. Finally, the rooms got ready just as our guests arrived, and we were saved from the embarrassment. All through this time, Ms Lata was arrogant, unapologetic, least bothered and least concerned towards the situation. It is shocking that a person with such bad people skills is appointed as a manager. No apologies came from anyone in the hotel as well. To say that their treatment of their guests is completely horrendous is an understatement. We were humiliated and insulted in every sense. I do not recommend staying at this hotel ever.

We had arranged our son's 5th Birthday party functions at Satkar Grande last week. The arrangements made were excellent and the service provided was also great. The event went on very smoothly with full support of the staff. The guests too appreciated the service and the arrangements. Food was delicious. Rooms were also very hygienic and well maintained.
