Edit 2023 Aug - Recently had ONION UTTAPPA at the "Restaurant". Table needs to be shared if you're visiting alone or 2 ppl. Uttappa, Sambhar & Chutney were really good. Fresh, hot & delicious. And so affordable!!! Also tried Bengali Sweets, they were also good. Will definitely try another items soon! Just outside Thane railway station(West). Most famous for it's jumbo vada pav. Usually very crowded. There's a legit restaurant inside as well, with seating arrangements, Detailed Menu, waiters & all. Altho the "restaurant" aspect gets overshadowed by Famous Vada pav shop aspect 😂 Taste wise the Wada pav is above average. But surely NOT the bessst Vada pav you'll have in your whole life. It's just an average Vada + paav in a bigger size. Which is enough to satisfy your hunger at snacking times. Lassi seems overpriced but nevertheless tasty. Samosa paav is good. More worth it than wada pav. Do try. You'll not be totally disappointed.

Best known for its Spicy and finger-licking MISAL PAV and quick service. Also popular for Vada Pav. Other delicacies served here are south indian foods like Dosa, Idli and Uttapa. One can also feast on desserts like Malai lassi, softie and mango lassi What a taste! All the hype is truly justified. The very best in Thane. A must try for everyone who is a vada paav lover.

The place is just outside Thane railway station. Famous spot for Vada paav lovers. Kunjvihar vada paav is very famous for it's test and size. Also you would like the test of misal, samosa, tea, coffee, other snacks, etc... You can also try lassi and other snacks as well.

It is located at Gr. Floor,Prabhavati Bhavan,Opposite Thane ST Bus depot,Thane West. KV special JUMBO VADA PAV is famous in Thane area since past two decades. A variety of sweets, snacks,Ice Creams and beverages available here. Food quality is decent. Prices are reasonable. Service is expeditious. Takeaway duration is about 5-10 minutes. Limited seating space is available. The place is usually crowded. Limited Parking area is available.

The Vada Pav is probably the best in Thane. One Jumbo Vada Pav and we were full. Just a walk outside Thane station in the west, it is a very popular place. It is almost always crowded and the Vada Pavs and Samosa Pavs sell off as soon as they are made. Both have a unique taste and a must have in case you are around. If you are having a single Vada Pav, it is great. You need to get a coupon and a piping hot Vada Pav will be served. However, if you are going for dine-in, it will take sometime. Also, the cashiers at the counter do not communicate. The cashier at the counter made signs and I thought he did not speak at all. Only after I asked him the same thing twice, did he open his mouth to speak. Also, the servers did not help much. The glasses too were not clean. However, as we had placed order for Sabudana Vada and Tea, we decided to have them and leave. The taste is really good. The Vada Pav, Sabudana Vada and even the Tea, everything tasted great! Only if they ask their cashiers ans servers to communicate better and maintain a little more hygiene, this place would become a great breakfast dine in. The Vada Pav is a must have!!

Since many years it has same taste of Vada pav. And for that Kunj Vihar restaurant is famous in Thane. Malai Lassi also in many varieties you can enjoy. Only seating arrangement is very limited.

I can't get enough of their Vada Pav and sweets; they're my absolute favorites. I make it a point to indulge there once a week. It can get a tad crowded, but that's no surprise – this place is renowned among the locals. What's great is its proximity to Thane station, which makes it super convenient. The flavors are worth the crowd, and the fact that it's a go-to spot for so many speaks volumes about its charm. If you're a fan of delicious street food and sweets, this place is a must-visit.

Kunji vihar is near to the railway station and has many things which are popular. We tried poha which was not that good in taste . Jumbo Vadapav was amazing in taste. Overall the cost was 68Rs. The food is fine and cost is also feasible to eat. The place is crowded but you get to sit continuously. There is token system so you take the token and sit in your place and then someone will come and take the token and come and give you food. So it's pay first and eat later policy

Budget friendly and quality wise also it is good. You can have a multiple option over there, but the VADA PAV is famous must try food for mumbaikar♥️♥️

They probably started the concept of jumbo vada pavs, the taste is good thanks to the combination of dry red and liquid chutneys which compliment the Vada itself. The pav is prepared in house and if I remember correctly it used a bit bigger in size than what is served today. They have an adjacent room wherein you can be seated and enjoy your vada pav, assuming it isn't crowded. BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS, they throng this place which is near Ashok talkies Thane station, always be alert especially when it's crowded as you might end up losing your wallet or mobile phones.

One of the most famous Vada pav places in Thane. They have a unique taste .. One Vada pav in itself is a meal for a person. I have been eating their Vada pav since 2003 ... One thing that I still miss nowadays is that they no longer serve onions with the vadapav like the earlier years.

If you have heard the dialogue many times that Kunjvihar Vadapav is famous in Thane, then you can tell that vadapav has amazing taste. But under all the names, no management arrangement has been made there, you should eat that vada pav and eat it with a parcel . It is my sincere opinion that people should be facilitated just as a person's name or a brand's name is as important as maintaining it.

The place has lost its touch. Rude staff. The snack (e.g. it's popular jumbo Vada pav) no longer has any special taste. It's same as what you get at other places. Only thing is the size of the pav for which you pay extra (compared to others) anyways. You can get better tasting snacks at other places in a much cheaper price.

Known for its Vada Pav. Food quality excellent. Clientele has grown manifold, therefore there is space constraint. It's a good food joint for all classes and walks of individuals across all ages. Food preparation is in a very hygienic environment
