Best place to have veg breakfast in affordable price .And quality of food is best till today and the taste is awesome but due to it’s popularity the crowd is very heavy you have to wait to find a seat and have breakfast. All types of sweets are also available and specially dosha is the show stopper and good amount of food in very less price and they maintain hygiene

I recently had the pleasure of staying and dining at Hotel Priya, and I must say, it was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression on me. This establishment offers both lodging and food services, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with what they had to offer. Let's start with the food – oh, the food! Hotel Priya boasts an impressive array of culinary delights. From the moment I walked into their restaurant, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes greeted me warmly. The menu had a wide variety of options, and it was clear that they take pride in delivering high-quality food. I had the opportunity to sample a few of their dishes, and each one was a testament to their commitment to excellence. The flavors were exquisite, and it was evident that the ingredients used were of top-notch quality. Whether it was the aromatic biryanis, the savory curries, or the delectable sweets, every bite was a treat for my taste buds. It's not often that you find a place where both the savory and sweet dishes are equally impressive, but Hotel Priya managed to do just that. Speaking of sweets, their selection of desserts was a true highlight. The sweets were not only visually appealing but also incredibly flavorful. The perfect balance of sweetness and authentic ingredients made each dessert a memorable experience. It felt like a journey through traditional flavors that left me craving more. Moving on to the lodging aspect, my stay at Hotel Priya was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. The staff was courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. The combination of good food and comfortable lodging truly made it a home away from home. One thing that stood out during my visit was the attention to detail. It was evident that the team at Hotel Priya values their customers' satisfaction and takes the time to provide a holistic experience. The ambiance of the restaurant and the rooms was inviting, and it created a welcoming environment that made me feel at ease. The commitment to hygiene and cleanliness was also noticeable. In the current times, this aspect is of utmost importance, and I was pleased to see that Hotel Priya took this seriously. It added to my sense of comfort and safety during my stay. In conclusion, my experience at Hotel Priya was exceptional. The combination of scrumptious food, delightful sweets, cozy lodging, and attentive staff made it a standout establishment. Whether you're a food enthusiast looking for a culinary journey or a traveler in need of a comfortable stay, Hotel Priya has something special to offer. It's a place where quality and hospitality come together to create a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a visit – you won't be disappointed!

Had a lot of expectations as it is quite popular choice. However, despite its popularity, the customer service has become quite terrible now. The restaurant managers are highly arrogant. We said to arrange for table, but they kept us waiting without any clear response. The staff behaved rudely when was asked regarding the status of arrangements. Will never prefer the hotel in future. And will never recommend this to others

It is a very reputed hotel in Bhubaneswar and it is an old hotel or restaurant of Bhubaneswar. It is only for vegetarians. It is the best vegetarian hotel in Bhubaneswar. The food is very tasty and yummy and very interesting. But only one problem is it is a small place and they should increase their tables and staff also. For that reason at festival time you should wait for the table to sit in the restaurant. And they provide their food too late at that time. But the food is very tasty. The employees who are working at their place are too good and very gentle. And a very interesting thing is the price of the food is not that expensive or high the price is at a decent rate. And in the restaurant there is a hotel and a juice shop. The juice is too yummy ......

Taste was okay. Staff was confused as the cook/chef denied serving lunch items before 12:30 and they did not have all options available for breakfast either. They said 11-12:30 hrs. is their cleaning time and staff is unwilling to co-operate. I wonder why would they keep the restaurant open if they can't serve the customers at that time. They served idli and after many requests served us coffee. Disliked the experience as we had great experience at other branches of the same restaurant..

It's taste good but it's dishes have little bit of extra oil and masala. Food quality is good. Pricing is also good(not so expensive). Ambiance of the restaurant is nice. Service is slow. It has actually 3 sections here one is a/c family restaurant which is on ground floor. One more section is for snacks and sweets which is also on ground floor. 3rd section is room for staying which is on first floor.

In a world of ever-changing trends, this restaurant remains an oasis of traditional culinary artistry. The care and love put into each dish were evident, making it more than just a dining experience but a heartwarming journey through time. If you're looking for a nostalgic escape to the flavors of South India, this restaurant is an absolute gem, worthy of five stars and then some!

Hotel Priya is one of the best restaurants in Bhubaneswar. One of the oldest in the city, it is known for its unique South Indian cuisines and North Indian delicacies. It has a great menu that can be enjoyed by everyone. It is budget friendly and family friendly. The service is also great. The dining room is spacious. But with heavy footfall, it can get crowded. A lot of different shops and eateries are available nearby. Keshari Talkies is nearby too. It is safe. Parking is on the road. Can be walked off from the nearby Mo Bus Stop.

Evening hours it's super packed, customers have to even wait for some time b4 grab a seat for the evening snacks. The food taste was not great, average taste. Hygiene also needs improvement. The people are making much crowded infront of the restaurant with their parked bikes. Food was served fast. Price is competitive.

Very reasonable price wise. Food is tasty. Well known South Indian Restaurant. Service could be better. Mostly quiet crowded. Located in a subsidiary lane so parking is also in crowded narrow lane. This place does not have air conditioning, so to that extent during summers it's a bit uncomfortable.

We visited the restaurant for dinner. There was a waiting time of 10 minutes to get in. We then ordered the very basic menu, rice and dal. The waiter completely forgotten our order, remembered to place an order after we reminded him. The whole ordeal took 1 hour of waiting time. The staff dint have the courtesy to Apologize for the mistake rather throwing attitude. We do not recommend the restaurant for any tourist visiting the place.

One of the best veg restaurant in bhubaneswar with budget friendly. It's famous for it's Dosa and upma. It's difficult get a seat for lunch. You have to wait for sometime to get a seat if you go there for lunch. The place is always crowded. You have to wait for sometime to get your order . But now a days the dishes are little oily . But one demerit is parking space is not sufficient to park your vehicle .

Food is really good, all r veg items. We specially love Chole Bature. Even tea is also of good quality and taste. Visited several times and would love to have breakfast or lunch or dinner anytime in coming days. Hope the quality and standard of the food will be maintained.

Nowadays quality of service is not good. The wetters of the restaurant is not professional. The food quality is not same as before. Sambar quality is not good. I usually go there to have a tempting cup of tea. But now the smell of tea is nowhere. Just before 2 days I couldn't drink the tea because of bad taste.

Rude and non commital service at restuarant hampers the dining experience. Staff just doesnt bother to be hospitable, timely and customer oriented. You are treated as if you are admitted to a government hospital for free. Overall, not recommended and best to stay away from a restaurant that doesn't bother to serve in a hospitable manner

The food quality was good, the waiting time was very less and the only thing that they need to manage is the service when someone wants extra servings of side dishes which usually becomes a rustle while enjoying the food. Arrangements should be made for Digital Payment systems as cash payment may not be suitable for everyone. Overall good place to have a quick serve of some good southindian dishes.

Had been to this property for lunch with family. Cleanliness requires more attention. Food quality is average but surprisingly they don’t provide packaged drinking water and you need to procure it from outside. Food prices are quite reasonable.

The same amazing taste and quality, maintained over the years. The restaurant is jam packed at any given time it's open. Depending on the day, they run out of dosas between 8pm to 9pm. No use coming here after 9pm.

Cheap and good hotel in the heart of City. This is basically famous for its South Indian foods. Most of the time you will find all the seats are occupied by guests. Mostly rush. Taste wise food is ok.

One of the most famous South Indian Restaurants in Bhubaneswar. I have been a regular visitor to this hotel for the last two decades because of the authentic taste & aroma of its South Indian dishes. Located in the heart of the smart city with neat & clean surroundings.....

We went to the Famous Priya veg Restaurant to try Sambhar Vada , Dahi Vada , Btr. Paper Onion Masala Dosa and Chole Bhature. Butter Paper Onion Masala was the show stopper , it was just mind-blowing in taste. Dahi Vada was sweet and sour and must recommended. Chole Bhature is Desi style but it tastes good. Overally, A gem of an place.

If you have craving for authentic South Indian food, this is the place. One of the oldest South Indian restaurant in Bhubaneswar. I have been going there since my college days. Nothing has changed since.

I used to be a frequent eater here before covid. I was really fond of it. Both the food and service. However, this was my first time after covid. And I was disappointed. The food has degraded a lot. We ordered mushroom salt and pepper, believe me it was a disaster! Then we went for crispy American corn! It wasn't crispy at all. It was unbelievable that Gobi 65 was better than these two. Same was the story with main course. Kadhai mushroom and fried rice were not cooked properly. Methi and lachha paratha were fine. In all I am disappointed. I gave a 3 star because I know how good it was! Or else I would have given 1 maybe. I don't want to start on the service. It wasn't good either.

A really good place to eat if you want South Indian food, but the location chosen for this is really bad,you can easily get lost or stuck if you want to go with a car,the road in front of the hotel is wide enough for only one car at a time. The food was really good, they serve south indian food, dinner and Chinese foods. Overall a good place to eat if you want some South Indian food

Pure veg restaurant. Good option for a family to have lunch and dinner. Onion will be there in curry sabzi. Reasonable price and very generous staff.

Their quality of food served (tastewise) has gone down drastically over the last few years, it is not the same as before. Their vadas and sambar used to be a craze among people back in the 90s. I remember when I was a school kid, Baba used to bring their vadas with sambar and cocnut chutney. But off late their quality has become very bad, you will often find their sambar very watery! The staff too seem disinterested in serving to the customers, they will keep you waiting, that's very unprofessional.

The staffs and the person sitting in cash counter is fully irresponsible. This was out go to place for south Indian snacks since 2 decades but the service quality has been detorated drastically. One fine day, they made my dad wait for 45 mins. We keep on asking about our order but thise guys used to tell its in process. Finally one guy came and told we don't have such orders. When we tried to reach the manager, he was that super busy hence couldn't make it to talk to us. This is how the hospitality is at Hotel Priya. I would sincerely suggest don't visit this restaurant for lower average quality food and service. Rather chose other resturant in city who provides better service. Suggestions to management is to properly take care of the customer requests and make sure to keep professional staffs and keep them under your supervision. Else you know where you are heading to..Thanks

Its a all time favourite place for vegetarians. Tiffin, Lunch and Dinner everything is tasty, hygienic and affordable. I have known this place for about 8 years but it existed long before that. I haven't experienced any change in taste, quantity and quality served till date. Taste is always consistent. Even the prices are affordable compared with the quality of food served. This place is famous for tiffins and the one next to it (Raghav's) for Lunch and Dinner.

It's not even worth of having meal here.... The quality of food is soooo bad as if I felt I am eating low quality rice with curry which is equal to water. They charged 100 per meal but trust me guys it's not even worth of 20 rs. Please don't go and spoil your meal. I don't understand how people are doing business there is no level. Stop making fool by serving this kind of food. I would request everyone please spread message ASAP so that the owner can take action n improve the quality

Had few visits here, last one was a breakfast. Food was nice, environment was a bit noisy, it needs some dampening as i can hear people talking so loud and chit chats. Service was good, pricing as well. But couldn't give 5 stars because parking is an issue there, which in my opinion should be fixed.

One of the best budget friendly restaurants with good ambience (considering its extremely low price)! The waiters are quick and helpful, the restaurant has a sitting capacity of over 50 with 10-12 tables, at peak hours it may feel clumsy but again the prices are extremely low without any compromise in the quality and taste, definitely recommended ! The menu on Google is outdated, refer to Zomato for the new menu

Taste of food justify the cost of food. Quality and quantity both are good. Usual waiting time is 10_15min still it worth to have a tasty breakfast. One of the best tiffin service provided by them in Bbsr. South Indian dishes are yummy and tasty.

  • 5/5 Pragyan D. 2 years ago on Google
The place is a bit busy in the evening as the food comes under affordable prices. The quality of food is good and you have to around 10-15 mins to get your food on the plate. There are also sweets available and they do allow food take-outs.
