It is very rare to see such forest area in a city like Bijapur. Hates off to the efforts made by Forest Dept for bringing up such a forest /Vegetation here. The tank near this forest give please Excellent place to relax with peaceful environment. Really peaceful place. Must visit.

It's a man made disaster. In the name of turning it into an artificial forest, they have destroyed the natural habitat of the place. It was a grassland before. Lots of winter migratory birds from all over the world use to flock this place, now we get none, thanks to the noble work of Forest department in association with private association. Had they consulted any of the experts they would have known what they have done. A total loss of nature in name of an artificial forest. Thanks to this disaster, Solapur is now benefiting from this. As all the major habitat shift is happening towards that place as it has very similar grasslands as here. So much for efforts without common sense and research.
