Horrible hotel. Trust me. Rooms smelled. I had to ask for an air freshener. Walls are showing signs of decaying or fungus. Worst - They have a turf where they allow people to play till midnight and start from 6am. So you won’t get sleep AT ALL.

Awful experience!! We booked a table there, a day before and they confirmed that by call. But they denied the booking when we visited there. We had a call recording of the booking so then they had to move us to other space... Items also not available which are at menu. Really not recommended this place to anyone. The food quality and taste are not good enough.. Didn't like it at all.

Unbeatable value for money. Just as good as any branded hotel chain. Staff is courteous and ready to help, especially the restaurant staff on the 3rd floor.

Small congested place on roof top...now the roof top is totally closed sky. A big size jacuzzi installed u will put ur feet inside and sip a drink which cost u triple price. 100 pipers costed me Rs4000 for 750ml. Big robbers are near u ..please beware ......Not recommmend to Good People...

The hall decorations and delivery was good. The in house food quality & taste along with serving quality was very good and pleasing for us. Simply excellent event execution experience.

Nice place for check-in. Well maintained and provides good services. It's near by CC1 and surrounding is also attractive. They have also a small playground for playing cricket 🏏 and football.

One of the worst experience starting from checkin. Although arrived in afternoon 2 the rooms were not ready and we have to wait another 1 hrs to get the rooms and once got the rooms no towels. Luckily we were having our own towels. Excuse given was that last day full hotel was booked so it will take time to get the laundry back after washing so guest has to wait till night to get any towel. Really a great hospitality. They asked to deposite Rs 5000 as security if u wanna order any room service. Really strange Managment rules for Golden tulip Kolkata. I stayed in Golden tulip in Lucknow and Amritsar also and really enjoyed but this hotel is SAY NO hotel. Travellers pls avoid this hotel.

Conference room/ Banquet setup not up to the mark, washroom is too cozy type, should be separate washroom for male & female both. Food quality is good. I would it's a budget friendly hotel. You can try once aa per your needs. Thanks!

As usual warmth well come in primacies. Reception area have the fresh vibrant with cordial people. In antipasti every staff have the smile which we eagerly want. We are happy to stay here in future also.

Went there for a private party at The Glass House on the 7 th floor. The starters were good and the paneer preparation in the main course could have been much better. Apart from the leaking capsule AC everything was nice.

Professional staff with amazing food delicacies. Mr. Anup sarkar has ensured my comfortable stay. Rooftop bar with Jacuzzi is an add on which one should must visit.

My new favourite place in Salt Lake. Close to the airport and has amazing views from the windows. Good service and decent food. The train station outside your window takes you to the lovable ancient view of the coal powered steam engines and juxtaposes it to the new age metro.

Since 0 rating is not a option here. Worst experience with hotel and staff talks like they are doing a favour by letting you in hotel. Subhojit mahapatra is a expert in making fool out of you and will make you feel homeless.

Absolutely horrific experience! They burnt my new top & stole my Mac Lipstick when given for room cleaning. On top of that, they kept one lingerie and a pair socks which was not mine in our room. The top was burnt & had iron stain on it. The lipstick was stolen from my bag. Although, the service also is pretty poor, resorting to such shameful acts is really not expected from a hotel like this. Highly disappointed!

House keeping is best and specially Mrs Tuktuki, I stayed here for 8 nights and their housekeeping was best they will fulfilled all your request related to the extra toiletries, water bottles etc. In the same way breakfast was good but with same menus for whole 8 days with slight differences in vegetables, restaurants staffs are good but sometime you have to request for anything more 2-3 times. The lady who handles Egg/Omelette sections was making stuffs so tasty, which shows her experience. On the same at receptionist or Room service staffs are worst, you have to request more than 4-5 times for any thing and sometime they IGNORE it in good way without responding. Hotel rooms are good but not maintained, as I have requested for exhaust fan not working in room#716 from 4days but still they didn’t fixed it. Even my checkin experience was bad, we have waited for almost 2 hours to get good room as allocated rooms having maintenance issue and many things were not working like bathroom exhaust, TV , lights etc and after complaining they started fixing it in front of you which will reminds you as you are at your own home and technicians comes to fix all of these issue in front of you. This is what not expected from Hotel, as these need to be fixed in well advanced before allocating any room to guests. As I stayed in #716, which is near to service lift and housekeeping, so they always put extra or waste things near to our room, like when you enter or exits from room then you can see all unorganised stuffs which feels unhygienic and lower the grades of room at hotel to just 1 star hotel. Absolutely great service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I was fasting on the only day l stayed due to office travel. The staff packed a beautiful 😍 breakfast which symbolises Kolkata and the warmth to the core. The room and amenities were awesome too. Please keep it up and would love to visit again.

Not worthy. Food is not up to the mark. They used to organise band performances, like antique nation used to perform, raising the ambience a little bit up, currently not doing any.

Attended a wedding. Food was excellent. Service (both starters and main buffet) was very good too. Premises and wash room sparkling clean. Stairs are partially blocked with furniture, so it's inconvenient to walk down one floor. Location is off the main road.

Overall Good experience. Clean rooms with attached washrooms. Althiugh if you dine in the restaurant, make sure to click copies of the bills as the mgmt. Might misplace or add a few bills on their own. Rest, if you are planning to visit under budget constraints, do give it a try. Its near to the hotel The Sonnet.

Visited this hotel for some official meeting and stayed there for 3 nights. Some of things I liked are - 1. Service & staff behaviour is excellent, always greeted us with a smile. 2. Food quality & taste was very good in their buffet. Chicken was awesome. 3. Clean rooms. Just one request of improvement - If you could increase the common washroom size in the buffet area. Overall splendid experience. 5⭐

I attended a birthday party event and was pleased to see the professionalism starting from the Valet Parking staff to the Hospitality People and Waiters . The Food in the Menu was excellent. The Ambiance was Great, The Decoration was also good. The Guests were looked after very well. Overall a Very Pleasant Experience for the Guests and VALUE for money for the Host.

The dining experience at restaurant was a delight. The diverse menu, exquisite flavors, and attentive waitstaff made every meal a memorable experience. I was particularly impressed with a true culinary masterpiece.

Worst experience, unwelcoming staff. I booked this hotel from Cleartrip and requested them for an early check in, which was duly approved for 9:30 am, I reached the hotel at 8:30 am and requested them to let me check in, Mr Pushpendu at the reception had only one answer to every question “you have to pay 2000+gst for early check in”, eventually I had to pay his 2000 for early check in. Pls don’t visit this place as the rooms are not that great either, food is also not up to the mark, there are many other options available in the same area for similar prices.

Went to the rooftop restaurant for a party. The decor is cool with good view. You can enjoy jacuzzi with a drink and snacks. The big Ben @ lake town is visible. Moving metro trains is also a treat to eyes. They have live music as well.

The hotel is well centrally located in Salt Lake. The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. There breakfast buffet was well prepared and a nice selection of Indian dishes. Overall a nice stay.

If you visit this hotel you have to repeatedly say and ask for all those things which need to be done by them automatically . During breakfast at the tost counter butter was hidden in the almirah below the counter. Given only if you ask for it. On telling the waiter to keep it on the table He denied, and then on repeated telling he told that it is in limited stock hence hidden below. Breads like roti and tandoori in dinner were served cold Paw bhaji paw was served cold hard and not toasted Paneer tikka was half roasted appeared like boiled paneer. Quality of food and serving attitude needs tremendous improvement.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff

One of the worst stays for our family. Did group booking for the family and friends visiting from Delhi. Hotel stuff didn't initially let us meet our own family saying guests are not allowed. We told them we mentioned it while booking that the family is here for a function. The hotel staff / front desk along with the manager keep pestering and arguing that we aren't allowed to visit our (14-15) guests. We were quite disappointed with their behaviour. Won't be booking / staying here again.

Just visited Anti Pasti, the multi cuisine restaurant in the hotel. Was pleasantly surprised with the menu and the service. Enjoyed every bit of the food that we ordered. Would like their bakery to cater for walk in customers as well. Their chocolate cookies were wonderful.

I am surprised with so many reviews by Bengali client. Don't understand how this hotel denies accepting any guests with valid local I'd documents? When a local citizens brought up from the city staying currently out side the state & want to visit the city, they can't stay in the hotel with their original I'd proof. It is an exceptional rediculous rule followed by the hotel management which definitely to be changed.

Brilliant location… just a stone throw away from City Centre 1, and close to most offices in SaltLake. Great customer service! The staff members genuinely went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. The Executive room that I got was really comfortable, well appointed and brilliantly housekept. Good quality breakfast spread, but the menu is constant; rotational menu would be better. The rooftop pub ‘Noir’ draws interesting crowds on weekends. Overall, a great stay option in SaltLake area!

At the time of check in, have enquired about the check out time and it was confirmed by the reception, it's a 12 noon. At the same time I have requested if I can leave by 1.30 which was agreed by the staff. Despite of this next day morning I got 2 calls and a person knocking at the door saying that i have check out at 11am. This cant be done to visitors

A good pocket friendly accommodation with all basic amenities for one's stay. Breakfast served at restaurant had good range of options with good quality. What I liked most during dinner was Tandoori Chicken !! Good luck to the team

The hotels hospitality was great. Environment was family friendly. We are very much enjoyed the staying. Anti pasti was great also. The resturent staff were so much helpful to us. They're cooked our child food separately(on request).

Servicing is amazing so as well as view, but regardless of amazing food and service, beverage are not as expected. Having pool in which you can hang your legs for relaxation. Otherwise it's a one time go place.

Went for a Cricket Game at the Golden Tulip Turf. Turf is good and the location is a plus point. Easily reachable. There's even option to order something to munch on. Overall, Good experience.

While on official tour at Kolkata, I had stayed in Room No.503 of Hotel Golden Tulip in between 19th June to 22nd June'2022.while It was really a very good experiance in all respect. All the Staff members of Hotel Golden Tulip are wonderful in their all acts of service for the guests. Their behavior with me was extraordinarly good and I beleave that they behave in same way with all other guests of Golden Tulip. Foods are wonderful. I'm impressed. A must visit hotel.👌👌👌

Today I went to Antipasti restaurant to have dinner with my family. Food was quite good and service was also best. Would like to recommend others .

Rooms and service is up to the mark. The staffs are gentle and well behaved. But the front office staffs are not up to the basic standard. The F O manager dont even have minimum courtesy and going back on his own words. We had a very unpleasant argument while checking out.

Good ambiance. For Business meet you have multiple options of negotiate for your reasonable package. Good Hospitality.
