Please think 100 times before admitting your loved ones in this hospital... If there was negative marking I would have definitely given that... They are running a covid business there and everyone is involved from the staff to the so called best doctors... If you have a nice mediclaim chances are very high that you will be given a positive report...and they will manipulate you and rob you till everything ends... I lost my father by admitting him in that hospital...I am hearing a lot of more cases like these... So please admit your loved ones to a government hospital if necessary or treat them in home isolation... This is my humblest request to everyone πŸ™

One of the worst private hospital in kolkata only charges are high facilities available like government hospitals .... this hospital have no parking no waiting room no proper sanitation also behaviour and working culture of staff is very bad ... If you have no wbhs card avoid this hospital ...also the hired Gunda in the name of security personnel very rough behaviour

It's a neat and clean hospital with almost reasonable price (towards higher side). Located just opposite to saltlake stadium. It has two buildings, main and Annex. Staffs are well mannered and helpful. Their health checkup packages were quite good. Some good doctors obviously exist. My mother was in bed 777 and received good treatment for pneumonia. Due to prolonged saline channel hands got swollen for which treatment was also given.

Had a very pleasant experience in Amri hospital last year. Charges are high but services provided are no doubt best. Facilities are international level. All equipment installed there are latest and doctors have good knowledge about their usage. The well experienced doctors hade made this hospital a reputed one. Location of this hospital is in salt lake in the heart of the city

As the AMRI Hospitals emerged a premier healthcare service provider, the growth was not just about doing things better than the others; it was about introducing a transformative experience. For the first time in Eastern India, the Group brought to the operating table latest technologies, advanced equipment, high-class facilities, and the competence to synergize all these elements. The growth of AMRI Hospitals has become historically significant in the region, as it paved the path for private healthcare with a corporate approach.

My experience was good unless they started some unnecessary tests. However, I heard about some serious complaint about food and harsh behaviour of some nurses from my wife ( she was admitted). But overall my experience is positive about the hospital. I would definately recommend this.

My mom was operated in 2011 for bladder sling operation and it was her last operation till 2021. In June 2021 there was a bump in the inner groin area just near her private parts and she felt pain so she was operated in Aizawl Civil Hospital and doctors taken out transparent plastics and bandages which cause infection from the area which was left behind by the doctors at AMRI hospital during their surgery in 2011. The doctors needs to be more careful and all future patients needs to be careful too.

A very sad story. My father was admitted on the 2nd of January 2022 in the Gastro Dept because of constipation problem. He was then advised to do colonoscopy which was done by Dr Banerjee. He was quite ok after the operation but suddenly the Doctor said he was detected with covid and had to be shifted to isolation ward where we could not visit him to monitor things. He was now under Dr Bandyopadhyay head of ICU. How can covid happen to a patient when he is under the care of the hospital. This 7/8 days made the situation worse as he became extremely weak. Patient's home members just had to wait and watch. The doctors didn't try to remove him from ventilator even though he was there for over 2 months. Their dialogue was since he is old he has lived his age so it is ok if he does not survive there was no effort from their side. Many times they were very rude in their behavior. Not letting us know why he cannot be out of the ventilator. Nothing positive was said by the doctor at any times. Condition of the patient deteoriated day by day. There was no coordination between the messages given by Doctor and nurses. My question to all the Doctors is that today in this 21st century couldn't medication make our father survive as he had only constipation problem this will always remain a question mark for me till end of my life. My father left for heavenly abode from this hospital on 10th of March because of negligence of high dignitaries of the hospital. We had spent a very very huge amount of more than 35 lakhs but no satisfaction neither could we bring back him to this world. So think twice before you admit your dear ones to this hospital. The doctors here are minting money no humanity is there. So I request the citizens of Kolkata to not to admit their loved ones in this hospital where they never come back.

I was admitted on Salt Lake AMRI for surgery. My experience is good. All the doctors & Nursing staff behavior was extremely good. Only some infrastructure improvement is needed. Like Lift, Lights etc. Also some disgusting sounds were at midnight. It was unbelievable. Overall experience is very good.

Apart from a slightly longish waiting time at the admissions area, everything about my stay at AMRI Salt Lake was exceptional. They went above and beyond my expectations, especially during these times when hospitals are teeming with patients and there is a general shortage of resources. But even on a day they were very stretched for staff, they did a great job in managing the situation and catered to the patients’ every need.

Kudos to the team at AMRI Salt Lake for taking care of me on an emergency basis. I was feeling breathless and my blood sugar level had dropped. This is the closest hospital to my home and I drove myself there. They gave me urgent attention and practically turned things around in a matter of hours.

I did covid test here on 25th jan...I got the result within few hrs...I was tested covid positive ..since I heard about a scam happening here...i did another covid test to apollo hospital on the same day i.e. 25th jan and i tested negative by evening. Is that medically possible that we test positive and negative the same day ? Within 2 days I travelled to dubai and tested covid negative. How its possible that you guys are giving positive report to create havoc and panic in people..its a scam..ppl will get panic and bring their family members to get the test and another money in the hospital. PS: There staff offered me to do another test if I have doubt and she told me clearly I might get a negative result...basically pay another 1200 i.e.total 2400 INR and they will give negative report I sent complain to their email...no response I need my refund of 1200 ASAP Very IMP : There was no govt ID i.e. adhaar card or anything collected as a verificationwhile I fid PCR test. Why such a loop ?????

My mother suffered intertrochentaric fracture (right hip) at home and was admitted under Dr.Tanmoy Karmakar at AMRI Saltlate on the basis of his google review. We have lived outside West Bengal for almost a decade and based on our satisfactory experience with regard to medical care outside Kolkata, we trusted him with my mother's well being. He unilaterally decided to conduct a hip replacement surgery without even bothering to inform us or briefing us about the pros and cons of such a complicated surgery for an elderly patient. As per the pre-surgery test records, all her parameters were normal. We were only told about the possibility of pulmonary embolism while signing the undertaking as my mother was being taken to the OT. We admitted her under Dr. Karmakar primarily for a proper diagnosis and recommendation on the right course of treatment and not to be placed on a butcher's table as a bait for fulfilling the OT quota. Dr.Karmakar's interpersonal skills camouflage his overconfidence in his knowledge and expertise due to which I lost my mother. It is basic ethical practice to brief the patient party about the pros and cons of the surgery so that informed choice can be made whether to opt for the surgery or not.It cannot be decided when the patient is entering the OT. My mother was put on ventilator support straight from the OT post cardiac arrest and shifted to ICU. We watched helplessly as the case was craftily taken out of our control. We were at our wits' end to understand how a non cardiac patient reached such a critical stage in the OT itself. After 13 days of turmoil unleashed by his most incompetent ICU team, lead by most incompetent Dr.Shushrut Bandopadhyay and Dr.Rajshahi Roy,subjecting her to excruciating pain , she eventually died on 12th July, 2021 as a result of aspiration pneumonia, septicemia, second cardiac arrest and multi organ failure.Post her demise, we discovered that she was having right branch blockage of heart which was recorded in her pre surgery Eco cardiogram report. Neither Dr.Karmakar nor the hospital bothered to disclose about this pertinent point which multiplied her risk of a cardiac arrest during surgery. The diabolic ICU team and the monster Dr.Sushrut Bandopadhyay deliberately did not treat her sepsis so that they could mint more money. I definitely do not expect any doctor to act like God, but Dr. Karmakar needs to introspect and keep the patient's family in the loop before the damage is done so that the patient as well as her family gets a fair chance. On social media he should share his failure stories along with his success stories as well.I was amazed at his narcissistic attitude when he asked me to have faith in his knowledge and expertise after my mother's death in his hands. I would not recommend him based on my experience of the irreversible loss of my mother.

Had a good experience, especially with the Gastroenterologist here. However, it was disappointing to the core that the lady in the report section requested my phone & wrote a "good" review about herself in this page. On the first day I met her, she was very good & kind to me. However, the next time I met her, she typed a review herself on this page praising herself! Moreover, the next time I met her, she didn't even greet / treat me like before!!! A review is meant to be from the patient depending on their experience. I request the authorities to take strict actions against this act as it was a corrupt act! I also believe many good reviews here about her have been written by herself.

I had checked in for a minor procedure that required a day long stay at the hospital. Everything from the foyer to the surgery area, to the restrooms are spic and span, properly sanitised. The prep nurses, paramedics and discharge personnel were very pleasant, informative and friendly. All in all, a wonderful experience!

AMRI Salt Lake has a highly professional team of doctors and staff. Everyone is very warm and welcoming. I have recently moved to the city and was somewhat apprehensive about finding quality healthcare but I am very happy with the services I have received so far.

Worst medical treatments available in AMRI Hospitals. My patient was admitted with fracture and was hospitalised only for 7 days and they released the patient with bedsore without writing in discharge summary. They are modern butchers, not doctors.

This review is concerned only with OPD services. The hospital otherwise is pretty good. For OPD - visited twice for Dr. Dibyendu Kumar Ray. The waiting area is jam packed with absolute zero concern for physical distancing. If you have an ounce of concern for the pandemic, avoid this location for consulting your doctor - please go for alternatives if available. The appointment time given in my case carried no meaning whatsoever. The wait time was 2 hours for the first visit and I decided to leave after waiting for an hour and a half during the second visit. Just goes on to say how there is zero respect for patient's time. As I was waiting, I could see patients of all categories - old and young, diabetic or not, etc waiting for similar periods of time. And in the middle of a pandemic, this is tantamount to exposing oneself to really high risk. If the hospital is reading this, please consider expanding your OPD area keeping in mind the inflow of patients or consider giving out appointments in a better fashion to limit the number of people in the waiting area and the average wait times.

Pathetic Experience with the Security. The behaviour of Security with each and every patient party is rough and intolerable. They have engaged some goons of NIS as security. The management is asked to warn these goons to behave properly with patient party otherwise a day will come people will loose their temper and will take law in their own hand.

Experience with Amri Salt lake hospital is very pathet3ic.Goons are acting as security personnel in this hospital. They have kept large no of goons in front of hospital so that people will not be able to know what is going on inside the hospital.Doctor are in very less number present in hospital and they are serving good number of patients like govt hospital. You have to wait 4-5 hours for any type of service. We have shown Dr Sujit Choudhury who well know how to increase your bill amount. He had done two times ERCP but unable to remove stone from biledunct.I never recommend this hospital band Dr Sujit Choudhury as a doctor.Pls never go there.

I can't resist myself to write a negative feedback for AMRI Saltlake. I have selected this place because of it's high reputation and popularity among local people. I have not expected very low grade facilities in a superspeciality hospital like this. There is no place for attenders to wait inside the hospital. In fact, they are not allowed to enter the premises at all. There are very few chairs available at road side. It's become difficult for outstation patient's attenders to wait without for first night or initial hours. There is no washroom in waiting area. You have to go inside behind emergency room to use the washroom and ask everytime for security personnel for that as well which is insane. No minimum sanitation and hygiene in washroom and common areas. Even howrah station has better standards than this place. Height of the height becomes when I saw drainage of toilets pumped out from the big pipe near main gate and whole drain was spilled on the main road in front of the main gate where people used to wait. Extremely horrible scene I have ever witnessed. Don't know how local municipality is allowing them to do this and how a hospital administration can do such act. Important thing is unsupportive TPA. They are quite slow in sending and following up from insurance providers. They took almost one complete day for finalizing the document after doctor approved the discharge. There is lack of transparency between their communication with insurance provider. I have not observed hassle free documentation even when this hospital was in the list of panel. Medical treatment wise I believe it is an average place as my patient becomes stable after admitting there, but infrastructure and overall facilities wise it is poor as a recognised private hospital. I would not go probably again at this place.

I have good experience with the medical facilities and quality of treatment but the behavior of staff and care for the patients were beyond expectations. Wherever we made any request we received prompt response and immediate action from the hospital body. Further the discharge process was smooth and we received itemized bill from the financial consultant.

Amri hospital is revered as one of the best hospitals in kolkata. My experience was not, few pointers I would like to highlight 1. No transparency in treatment and process. While admission I was told any tests costing above 5000 , would be discussed and consent has to be provided by patient party. Whereas in reality they performed unrelated tests all expensive and more than 5000. 2. When raised above point blanket statement was doctor prescribed and due to urgency they did not took any consent. They were unable to justify tests. 3. Discharge was deliberately delayed by 2 days without any proper justification. 4. Hospital support staff were ill mannered including nurses and ward boys. They consider themselves not answerable to anything. No questions can be raised. 5. Most irritating part were ill mannered security guards. They treat all the patient party with disregard. They should be considerate that hospitals are not leisure place and no one is here to enjoy or party, so stop asking irrelevant questions and be cooperative. Advise for hospital management 1. Train your staff to be more considerate and helpful. This is least you can do to make like easier for already stressed patients party. 2. Be more transparent in your processes, treatment costs lot of money. Every patient has right to ask right questions. This should not irritate admin staffs. 3. If you are best hospitals behave as one, treat humans more humanly. 4. Basic infrastructure should be made accessible for customers.

My son has a fear of hospitals and doctors. But as luck would have it, he injured his knee while playing cricket. The doctors and staff at AMRI did their best in soothing his fears and making him feel comfortable while his X-Ray was being taken, and even later when he visited for his physiotherapy sessions. Kudos to the team at AMRI!

My mother was a patient at AMRI Hospitals and whilst I was not able to visit her during her stay, the doctors and Nurses kept me well informed of any procedure and took the time to go over every single detail with me which kept me updated and not as worried. I can’t say how much it meant to me to have each doctor and nurse attending to my mom reach out to me. My mom also raved about how wonderful the doctors and nurses were. I am eternally grateful to the amazing staff and doctors. Thanks!

Very much impressed with this center, I've dealt with sinus issues for a few years now but back in March I was sick and lost my sense of smell. The fear of COVID-19 was also lingering in the city, but still we looked out for the cause. The doctor preferred to do an allergy test rather than taking the COVID-19 route. Thankfully it was detected soon. You will always get accurate medical diagnosis at such professional units, this is what makes AMRI different from other private facilities!

As my Focus was on Medical treatment and cure of my mother and not on Cost, Infra, so I feel Amri Hospital provides Good Medical service in Kolkata. After staying almost 20 days in Amri- Saltlake, finally got discharge of my mother with follow up of Medication. Amri hospital has dedicated Nurses who took care of my mother exceptionally well day and night for 20 days. I got very good Doctor - Debasis Saha, who prescribed perfect treatment for my mother. I had to visit Amri Hospital in very critical Emergency situations in last week of Dec -21, as my mother was not able to eat anything from last 6-7 days..

I was diagnosed with Fistula-in-ano and I had to undergo Fistulectomy. The surgery went well and the treatment and the post surgery care was given. The hospital, doctors, and staff and their services are world class. I am satisfied with my experience at AMRI Saltlake Hospital. My only suggestion is that they should allow UPI payments at every billing desks to enhance convenience to patients and their family members.

One of the worst hospital in kolkata. Negative rating. There is no place for attenders to wait inside the hospital. In fact, they are not allowed to enter the premises at all. There are very few chairs available at road side. The guards are so rude and unprofessional. Their is only 2 lifts which is used by patients, doctors and outsiders. No separate lift for patients. After OT patient is lying outside the corridor waiting for the lift to come after 15-20 minutes. unhygienic and pathetic hospital. Even if patient is in critical condition they will take them from 2nd building to 1st building in ambulance.Tgey are least bother about the condition of the patient. Never suggest anyone to ever come to this hospital..

The patient are not given priority serial vise I can in the morning with my father at morning around 8:39 AM my serial number was 4 still I saw people after me with same reason ( health package) we're treated before my father. This should not be done everyone time is worthy and First come first come should be the priority. On emergency cases I m not commenting it's a general feedback for other people who all were present today ( 22/08/2022). Hospital is clean staffs are gentle. Cafeteria at 9th floor is clean in open area fresh air.

AMRI has been a quick resort for me and my ailing mother who had an minor heart attack. The Doctors and staffs were extremely diligent and prompt in taking decisions and acted on the same. Doctors there are exceptional who diagnosed my mother and did an entire profiling before discharging her fit and happy. I would also want to thank the management for maintaining such epic institution in the heart of the city and providing exceptional service. Much obliged. Hope this institution thrives and provide such exceptional service to public at large.

Hospitals need to be highly service oriented and need to take care of their patients’ needs. One factor by which I judge a hospital is how they react to feedback. When I was admitted at AMRI recently, I had made a few constructive remarks about some of their staff and they immediately acted upon my suggestions. Since then they kept monitoring the issues and even asked for my feedback. I think that AMRI has the right approach in hospital management.

After this wonderful experience I would definitely recommend AMRI Hospitals to anyone who would like to be treated by a team of professionals, who really care. Thanks to everyone and especially a huge thanks to my surgeon who did an amazing job on my knee. I just can’t thank him enough!

It is one of the best hospitals in Kolkata. If you are unsure where to visit, this is the multi-speciality hospital to select. My uncle was admitted here for his jaw surgery after an accident. The case was complicated and they had to rope in a few specialists but we received the best care possible. My uncle has healed well from his injuries and speaks fondly of the staff and the doctors at AMRI.

I got admitted to the hospital on 4th September for outpatient surgery. Honestly, I was worried due to the COVID situation, but everything was well-maintained by the hospital staff and non-COVID patients are treated in a separate zone. All the nurses, paramedics, doctors, and surgeons were friendly and cooperative. I couldn’t think of any other place than AMRI for such outstanding healthcare services.

Not even deserve a single star. Most pathetic hospital in Kolkata. Hospital OPD billing and management section is worst. You need to book over phone for OPD visit but nothing details or reference number will be provided. When you then visit hospital for doctor consultation billing staffs will say no appointment was taken, futher after billing no serial number will be provided to patient. They will do as per their wish only. No complaining system or nothing related to improvement of such fussy system they created. The problem which could be solved with a simple medication, I was suggested of getting a surgery done, hence had to undergo this surgery. He had consulted with Radiologist Dr Manoj Jain for this. After this procedure done, problems multifolded and made my life pathetic. Hospital charges are very high and has been spending lakhs of money but till now no solution could be reached. All happened because of this procedure done at the hospital.

Overall it was a smooth process to discharge.. however all staffs are not same. Few staffs are commendable , polite and helpful. Had to report during night to take care of the patient as patient is dependent to pass excretion. It happened to be overnight my father was shivering during night as his diaper was full and he was asked to adjust with it. My father called staff and there was no response as they was no one in the station. When reported at midnight then staff apologized and from then patient didn't face any problem.

Someone constantly remains for assistance and to guide. All tests are carried out within 1hr 30 minutes, Barring blood sugar PP test. Excellent experience gathered today.

I was honoured by the staff and by the authorities of AMRI Salt lake when they handed me the money plant πŸͺ΄ on World Environmental Day….2023. I would only request AMRI to please add Non Veg also as you have kept an option to bring it from home by the patient party according to the dietary chart or after consulting the dietician on AMRI. The house keepers , nurses & sisters were very helpful and friendly and responded very quickly when I needed them. Atmosphere is really good , healthy & hygienic and for the Doctors and RMO I have nothing to say they are god to me . Thank you for letting my health get better β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή than earlier. Thank you everyone & thank you AMRI Salt lake… πŸ™β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ™‚

The doctor is outstanding, and crucially, the overall experience during the stay on the 5th Floor General Ward in the Main building was exceptional. The nursing staff, in particular, goes above and beyond to provide assistance. I wish them success in life and stay blessed.

My father was admitted for gall bladder operation last week. We are extremely thankful to Dr. Badal Das and his team for the effective surgery followed by a very smooth recovery of the patient. Other staffs were also very co-operative and the food quality has remarkably improved compared to the previous management.

Very good service, unimaginable Hasselfree cashless and extra payments on the admitted floor itself. Regular nurses, floor manager, cleaners all r cheerful. Only Food quality, there is scope of improvement.

Excellent service by all the staff, nurses, housekeeping, food and all attendees. Every small queries were attended and responded with appropriate details. Special care take by floor manager Sumona Bannerjee. Very smooth admission and discharge process. Excellent doctors DR Subhro Ganguly and DR N P Singh who kept sharing their periodic guidance for faster recovery of my husband. The building is in renovation process and we hope that it would further help patient experience.
