Its good to find an affordable place like this to stay in a city like salt lake. Rooms are good. Aircondition provide. Toilet could be better taps needs replacement. The receptionist is a frequent smoker and the smoke creates little discomfort for non smokers.

I booked this Guest House for my little brother's medical checkup trip to Kolkata for 8 days but due to complications we had to stay extra days! I notified the owner about this. But two staffs kept harassing me about when we will checkout and that I have to pay for the extra days. I was a little offended and irritated by this behaviour! I told them we will pay for the extra days when we can checkout, when we can go back home. He doesn't understand! So I asked one of them - the old man - "Shall we checkout and book another hotel?" he plainly replied, "Yes!" So i booked another hotel and checked out the next day! Service isn't that great. We take out the trash ourselves and no free wifi !! I guess they charge extra for that. No bucket and cup in the bathroom, we had to buy!

Terrible Experience, bad poor service

My experience was not good. 1st of all there was no proper person on the check in desk. The person who was there was not educated and didn't know how to handle things and how to welcome guests properly. He was the worker who manages the kitchen and cleaning. We have to wait for 10mins to check in where he calls the owner multiple times as our booking was done through online. We didn't see the owner or other person who could handle the business properly there. The wifi was not working, because the password provided by the worker was wrong. The rooms were horrible. Dirty. Bathroom was not at all satisfactory. My overall experience was horrible. There was no breakfast call even it was included in the booking.

We are happy with the services provided by the Happy Hut Guest House . Would specially like to mention His manager for his warm welcome given to us.

Honest review of the place 1. Centrally located. Very close to City Center 1 2. It's a flat with facility of a hotel the owner is very understanding and user friendly. 3. Pocket friendly as well

Room is decent for 2. AC & Geyser works well. The property is situated in a convenient location, close to all local amenities. Apollo Multispeciality Hospital is hardly a kilometer away. City Centre 1 Saltlake around 500 mtr.

Not as good as the picture shown. Bed sheets etc were not well maintained. Ok for single man to stay. Not very ok for family. Otherwise staff was helpful.

Situated at a prime location. Owner is understanding and helpful. Rooms are spacious and large but lack of maintenance and cleanliness. Though they have provided clean bed sheets and pillow covers. Inhouse food is bit costly. Overall fine enough.

Extremely dirty house, not a hotel not guest house. I reached there after reviewing the feedback but after reaching I could understand that the review were made by themselves. In room, undergarments of staff were hang, bathroom have full of dirt.
