Strongly Recommended: NOT TO STAY 0 stars (if possible) Don't go by the positive reviews, some of them may be untrue. Date: 27th Dec, 2022 Summary: -- unclean stained bed sheets, -- stained toilets, -- smelly rooms, -- unwelcoming and rude staff, bad vibes -- poor cleanliness and hygiene standards. Details: The hotel is shabby and flashy on the outside but our experience with Hotel Sagar was extremely poor. Here are the details: 1) Initially we were allocated Room 207. The room was unclean room with stained sheets and blankets, room smelt like cigarettes and had yellow stained toilets. The bedsheet and pillow had drool stains and some other stains. It seemed that they aren't cleaned regularly. Washed sheets have a detergent smell and looks crisp. Our sheet smelt like sweat. 2) After some request from our planner, the receptionist allocated us to Room 401. (a) This room smells like sewerage. It is difficult to stay in the room for long periods of time. (b) The bathroom exhaust is broken (poorly installed). The bathroom had leftover soap and remains of previous occupant. (c) The tea plates and cup were sticky and had brown tea stains. Seriously it doesn't have the class, cleanliness or hygiene of a 3-star hotel. (d) The blanket had blood stains. The blanket cover hadn't been washed in a very long time. Smells like sweat. (e) Poor ventilation in the room. The curtain and the blinds are broken. So it is a deterrence to even try to open the window. 3) It is a 3-star hotel and the staff and the receptionist were very unwelcoming and had no smile on their face. People pay for the experience in these type of hotels but we had a poor one.

The rooms are utterly dirty and ill maintained. The lobby entrance alley all seem good but the moment you enter the room it's a major turn off. The linens, bathroom, cleanliness all seemed low. Check your stay beforehand

I have a worst experience for one day stay in this hotel. In reception they even bother about the guests. Very arrogant behaviour. Hotel staff doesn't know how to behave good with guest. Rooms are too durty. Toilets were having foul smell and literally I had a war with water tap to open it. This property looks awesome from out side but not actually even good at all when entered into room. Food quality is too bad. They offered fixed thali which was really bad and very spicy. I will never recommend anyone to stay over here. Even I have already put complaint to the travel agency as well as my organization for not recommeding further anyone.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a comfortable stay. The hotel is a great option for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Bikaner. Here are some of the pros and cons of Hotel Sagar Palace: Pros: Convenient location Spacious and well-appointed rooms Clean and modern bathrooms A variety of amenities, including a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and fitness center Friendly and helpful staff Cons: Some rooms can be a bit dated The breakfast buffet is not very extensive The hotel can be a bit noisy due to its location in the city center Overall, Hotel Sagar Palace is a great option for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Bikaner. The hotel has a convenient location, spacious and well-appointed rooms, and a variety of amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a comfortable stay.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Hotel Sagar in Bikaner. While we had booked our rooms in advance, our arrival at the hotel was met with an unwelcoming and arrogant front desk staff. The whole experience was far from pleasant. Things only got worse when we were shown to our rooms. The ambience of the hotel was off-putting, and we immediately decided that we would not be checking in. There was an uneasy feeling that permeated throughout the hotel, and it was clear that our stay would not be a comfortable one. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. It's disappointing to arrive at a hotel with high expectations, only to be met with a rude and unwelcoming staff. While we understand that not every hotel will be a perfect fit for every guest, the lack of hospitality and professionalism at Hotel Sagar was particularly disappointing. Overall, I cannot recommend Hotel Sagar in Bikaner based on my experience. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming hotel experience, it's best to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other options in the area that will provide a much more enjoyable stay.

We arrived in Bikaner at around 7h30 in the morning, after a long trip on a night bus from Amritsar. The management and staff were extremely helpful and caring, found 2 double rooms for us, and breakfast, in no time. Beautiful hotel, to be recommended with thanks to them all!

They could do much well. The management need to concentrate on the wellbeing of the customers. The service is good. Food is not great. Over priced. Poor service. Rooms are new but not maintained. We checked in but the rooms was not clean. Staff shortage. Reception people are not humble. Security Guard don't even prefer to stand and open the doors. Drivers have no facilities.

Room were stinking with cigarette smell, no proper smoking zone allotted. Toilet and bathroom was dirty, bed sheet and towels were dirty. Inspite of informing reception they did not bother to respond or help. Manager was rude and not capable to be a responsible manager. Only outer appearance of the hotel is good rest everything is ZERO. Never ever visit specially with Family.

CARELESS AND RUDE STAFF. I hosted my friends at the hotel and the experience ended up quite bitter purely because of carelessness of front desk staff. My friend left an important item there which was to be collected by me later on but unfortunately they misplaced it. What made it worse was them nonchalantly saying it was thrown with garbage. Not a single hint of regret on their face let alone apologizing for their behavior. What kind of hospitality this is, is just beyond me. Now reading the other reviews I really regret not reading them before booking the place.

No heating. No hot water in our room (207). They took us a bucket of hot water. Then moved us to a different room to use the shower, which ran hot for no more than 2 minutes. Rude staff at check in. Dirty sheets and pillows. The chairs smelled like dirty feet and we had to move them outside. Power kept coming and going in the morning. Unreliable WiFi. The architecture is the only positive aspect of this hotel. Overall one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at

Absolutely loved the hotel, its service, rooms, food, infrastructure and the overall vibe. I stayed there for some official purposes and my company had booked the hotel. I love thr authenticity of the rooms and the lobby and reception. Everything spoke of the rajasthan’s rich culture and heritage. At the evening, there was live music as well the food was tasty and reasonable as well. I had soups and spring roll, they both tasted really well. The rooms are spacious and so is the bathroom. it is very close to the junagarh fort and a temple which is famous in bikaner. I would love to come here again as it was a perfect weekend retreat😍

We stayed here looking at the rating and reviews. But the reality is different. We stayed in room 402. Tiny stinking horrible room. They don't have extra beds....they just gave a mattress on the floor. Bathroom has no shower partitions. It was stinking a lot. We had to get room sprayed with room freshener twice in a day. The tea bags at the kettle were kept open and were dirty and unable. Towels were srained. Breakfast is very basic and they serve water in paper cups...food wasn't good at all. The guy at the reception need to take a course on manners and basic communication skills as he lacked both. Overall a must avoid hotel....had a terrible time at the hotel.

Hotel itself looks very beautiful almost like a mini palace. Too many spots in the room to take pictures of. There is live music every evening while having dinner.

My recent hotel stay was quite enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a pleasant retreat after a long day of exploring. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and other arrangements hassle-free. While the dining options were decent, Overall, it was a satisfactory and convenient stay for my trip.

It is one of the good places in Bikaner where you can spend some good time. Hotel gives you a heritage property feel. It's a complete vegetarian hotel. They have 3 restaurants set up with 74 rooms. Rooms are good and spacious. Rooms are not so modern but they are clean and neat. Rooms do not have ventilation but it does not make so much difference since now a days people use airconditioner and do not open the windows. Food quality is ok. Not so lavish spread in dinner but it's ok. For one or 2 nights it's an ok property.

Had the misfortune of staying in this place last week. One of the worst places I have ever stayed and I have stayed in innumerable hotels over the last 30 years across the country as well as outside. The rooms are claustrophobic. Once inside you have no way of telling if it's 12 noon or 12 midnight. There are no windows you see, all in the aving just to make sure you are getting it right. There is no space to keep your toiletries in the bathroom, I had to keep my toothbrush, shaving kit etc inside the room you see. On top of this, there is no partition for the shower area. So once you've had a shower the entire place is totally wet. They do provide "complimentary" breakfast but the spread is terrible. One wonders if it's the same chef who prepares the other meals you are paying for or he's under instructions to make a mess out of it. Overall this is a place one should avoid at all costs.

Rooms are not well prepared. Though they are clean and roomy but ours did not have a window. Secondly, the fittings in washroom and the room are so substandard that they look the fittings are from some low priced motel. The bed was very flimsy and old.

I was on a business trip and chose this place for my stay. It is a beautiful property built in heritage style. Rooms are neat and spacious. They also serve breakfast buffet which was descent and there were enough options.

Hotel Sagar is known name in hospitality in Bikaner. Situated at forefront of Lalgarh compounds , it has a blend of old world charm and modernity. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Owners manage the hotel themselves and make sure guests having a good time. Breakfast spread was limited but good. Do try their cheese omelette. PS-Book super deluxe or suites for better experience.

A great stay but one thing that can be improved is we need some windows and lights to get to know it's time to wake up. Rooms and design is inspired from the Bikaner Fort. Good for photoshoots

Overall a good stay but won't call it excellent. The place has awesome architecture, and this can be one of the biggest attractions of the city. The maintenance and quality of rooms plus add ons is where they lag a bit. Lots of construction work in adjoining building leading to dust in the rooms, if you keep them open. The quality of bathroom and toiletries does not match the royal look and feel of the place. Food service is not so good, and the breakfast buffet is also very limited. Food quality is just about ok. Recommended to stay once to appreciate and acknowledge the beautiful architecture!

The hotel is in the Bikaner city. Rooms are good. Dining area is beautiful. Overall campus is so beautiful. However, the behaviour of the staff is not good. The don't know how to greet their guests. Even the room service was not up to the mark. I request the management to look into these issues. I would rate 3 stars out of 5 just because of the beautiful ambience.

Decent hotel. Service guys are amazing. Location is great as well. Value for money. FYI: Book your room online as its way cheaper than offline.

The hotel is good but not kept clean as seems royal suite rarely used. We had good ac, comfy bed, but lack following dusty tea cups, broken furniture's, had to call frequently for water, toiletories, etc, food was very good. Overall good experience but not wow.

Ambience is good it's not ancient but you will get a vibe of old palace. Staff is friendly and room is good. The cost of room is also affordable. The food quality is good you can take it your room or you can dine in any of the restaurants in the hotel. It also has a bar
