the oldest temple in the city. The shrine was built by Maharaja Rao Lunakaran of Bikaner in the 14th century. This temple is adobe to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Built as a throne to Lord Vishnu who was considered to be the actual ruler of the city, the King considering himself a mere minister in the Lord’s service, this temple still remains true to the age old traditions that were followed during the 1500s. The Shri Laxminath Temple is situated around four kilometers from the famous Junagarh Fort of Bikaner

It was a wonderful experience. Group of temples have extreme positive vibes. Some of them are hundred years of age. Surroundings were so peaceful and calm. You can spend you mornings and evenings in the shade of spirituality. Thousands of Pigeons add a different attraction to it.

Shri Laxminath temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi ke nath). Locals of bikaner popularly refer the deity as Nagro Seth meaning Nagar ka seth or the King of the town. Various small temples are there in temple premise. This is the place where foundation stone of Bikaner was laid. Attending aarti at this place is whole unique experience so if you are there don't miss the morning aarti. There is a garden where kids can enjoy. However local government need to take towards the cleanliness and maintenance of the temple premise and garden. It actually pains to see that such a important place is getting neglected by the local government.
