Love the internal architecture of the temple. You can take photos here but not videos. You'll amaze with the architecture. Next to Jain temple, there is Laxmi nath temple, this is also a good temple to visit. Both the places are easily accessible.

What a scenic temple. Seth Bhandasar Jain Temple is so nice to see. This temple is associated with 5th Jain thirthankara named sumatinatha. Inside pillars and sculptures is colourful. Ornamental architectural design is most important thing. Red sandstone carvings and Wall paintings are most admirable. Mirror decorations are another attraction to visitors. Inside one can sit and feel positive vibes.we reach here when night falls down. Not so crowded. Top of minars staying lot of doves. Near there are two other temples laxmi nath mandir and pushpanath temple. Around the street is local style and crowded.

Bhandasar Jain Temple is a famous Jain temple located in the city of Bikaner, in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. The temple was built in the 15th century by a wealthy merchant named Bhandasa Oswal, and is dedicated to the fifth Tirthankar, Sumatinath. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture and intricate designs. It features exquisite paintings, frescoes, and sculptures that are made of sandstone and marble. The walls and ceilings of the temple are adorned with beautiful paintings that depict scenes from Jain mythology. One of the highlights of the Bhandasar Jain Temple is its unique construction. The temple is built using a combination of lime mortar, jaggery, and yellow sand. It is said that over 40,000 kg of ghee was used to coat the walls of the temple in order to make them smooth and shiny. Visitors to the temple can also see a 2.57-metre-tall statue of Sumatinath, which is made of black marble and is believed to be over 500 years old. Overall, the Bhandasar Jain Temple is a magnificent example of Jain architecture and is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Bikaner.

One of the most colorful and beautiful jain temple. The artwork done on the walls/roof, pillars and every section inside the premises is worth experiencing. You can reach this temple by taking an autorikshaw or if you are someone who loves to walk try exploring the market in between. Avoid taking your own 4 wheeler.

The red stone of this two-story Jain temple is adorned with yellow stone carvings and colourful paintwork. Antarala, an Ardhamandapa, a Garbhgriha, and a Mahamandapa are all part of the temple complex. The pillars and walls of the'mandapa' and 'pancharatha' are covered in detailed murals with gold leaf patterns. It's shocking to learn that the merchant built the temple with 40,000 kg of "ghee" instead of mortar, which drips from the walls under intense heat. Lord Sumatinath's idol is wonderfully fashioned out of white marble and sits on a silver throne. The priest of the temple is very welcoming. He is also well versed in more than 10 languages and communication is very easy. He will tell you more about the temple and its history. The architectural brilliance of the temple is displayed right from the entrance gate.

I just love this place. So serene and peaceful and obviously very beautiful. The architect of this temple and the vibes, can't describe in words. ❤️ Have visited this temple during my visit in early morning. It is difficult to reach here with map, try to get help of locals to reach, also it is near to Pashupatinath Temple which is known by all there.

The architectural brilliance speaks about it in many folds in the old city of Bikaner. You can comfortably reach there by Innova itself. The serene and peaceful nature will definitely attract you. Another good thing is that it's allowed to take pictures inside the temple unlike many beautiful Jain temples like Dilwara temple in Mount Abu. You will find laxmi narayan temple in its vicinity as well.

There is very interesting story behind this spectacular Jain Temple situated in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It is to be said that more than 10000 kg pure Ghee, thats butter in the foundation of the temple. One Mr. Bhadashah a wealthy Jain residing in Bikaner wanted to built this temple, and when he was seen to clean a drop of butter from floor and rubbed it on his shoes, to try his cunningness, the contractor asked Mr. Bhandashah to supply Ghee for the foundation. To the surprise of the contractor, next day he saw a line of vheicles full of tins of butter to be used instead of water in the morter for foundation. This is how this temple was built using ghee instead of water, only case in the world.

This is an ancient Jain temple. It is very beautiful and the art work done inside the temple is awesome. It's a very calm place and it seems during the construction of this temple they have put 40,000 kg Desi Ghee and if you visit this temple in May or June month then you can have a feel of ghee while roaming in the temple.

I visited Seth bhandasar jain temple on Sunday morning, there was no rush . I worshipped peacefully along with my kids and family . I suggest to visit the place early in the morning or in evening because of scrotching heat in 🌞 summer .

Didn't go inside as it wasn't open when we visited and hadn't checked the timings of the temple. Atleast watched hundreds of pigeons around this place.

Beautiful temple. Beautiful Architecture and Sculptures However, it is not very easy to get there by your own car. It would be better to hire an e-rickshaw. It would be better to go in the evening. A lot of dust comes from the windows due to which the shine on the walls is fading. it should be noted.

It was between my hotel and another place I wanted to see, I asked where to take shoes off. They were polite and left me to my worship. There is a story attached to temple and I need to look it up. I was a peaceful 20 mins, remember to make a donation and be respectful. God bless
