Central
University
is
one
of
the
largest
university
in
Bilaspur,
Chattisgarh.
I
have
completed
a
two
weeks
Refresher
Course,
during
July
2019
at
UGC
Human
Resource
Development
Center,
DVV.
In
the
University
campus
institutional
buildings
are
situated.
Campus
is
clean,
green
and
pleasant.
It
includes,
several
UG
and
PG
departments,
and
reserach
laboratories,
library,
Lecture
halls, seminar
halls,
Guest
house,
hostels,
student
facilitation
centers,
dining
halls
and
parking.
During
the
RC,
we
have
visited
the
Department
of
forestry,
wild
life
and
environmental
sciences
which
one
of
the
biggest
and
most
active
department
of
the
university.
The
department
is
equipped
with
smart
classrooms,
state-of-art
laboratories,
green
house,
nursery,
field
plantations,
museum,
wood
workshop,
departmental
library,
etc.
During
the
visit
we
have
observed
various
types
of
woods
and
their
characteristics
features.
We
also
planted
some
plantlets
in
the
backside
of
the
department.
Department
of
UGC
HRDC
is
also
the
most
active
department
of
the
university.
The
hostel
and
mess
facilities
of
the
HRDC
was
extremely
good.
The
teacher
training
programmes,
Orientation
programme,
Refresher
courses,
Short
term
courses,
Interaction
programmes,
Workshops,
Seminars
are
regularly
organized
as
per
the
guidelines
of
UGC.
ASC
has
excellent
Class
rooms
with
Audio-Visual,
Internet
and
Multimedia
facilities
which
create
an
ambient
environment
for
interactive
learning.
