Great hotel right in the center of Bilbao. The rooms were very clean and neat. Service was very friendly, especially the ladies at the breakfast area. The place is not the cheapest in the area, but it is in a great location — it is expensive but not overpriced. The worst aspect of our stay was the parking lot, as there was no way for us to include the parking fee in our reservation at a reasonable price.

This is the third time we stayed at this hotel. We had a very pleasant stay again at the hotel. Our room was very comfortable. A great place to relax, which is what we wanted. The hotel is central for the old town and the new part for shopping etc.

The hotel reception didn't make the booking of the taxi, even though I requested that to go to airport together with 4 adults and 2 children with big Taxi on the check-out day. The hotel reception suggested and recommended to call on the day before I leave the hotel since it's easy to handle. Therefore, I followed that. However, the different person in charge of hotel reception said next day, we would not be able to book the taxi because big taxis have been occupied... I know that situation. It's easy to imagine. That is why I requested beforehand. Fortunately, I was able to get the big taxi without problems. However, the hotel suggestion and recommendation are not valuable for me. It seems your hotel quality is not stable and the service level depends on the person which a customer communicate.

We were received by a very friendly receptionist (RD manager?) who immediately provided us with a lot of information about the city. Modern and spacious parking garage available. A free bottle of water would be a nice gesture. Room: Spacious, modern room with spacious and modern bathroom, unfortunately with bath (a bit old-fashioned, a walk-in shower is better). Our room was on the busy street but because of the good insulation no noise. Safe available and good and fast WiFi (both free). Breakfast: Staff had some troubles keeping up, and it's a pitty there is no "welcome" because of lack of time. A morning welcome is, as a good breakfast, a good start of the day. The layout of the buffet was not the most logical. Overall: a very nice, recommendable hotel if you are in the city. Clean, modern, parking and good wifi available. Next door to the casino if you feel lucky.

Good location, very quiet room (which I requested). Quite basic and minimalist design in room, but very clean and comfortable. Everything you would expect from a buffet style breakfast, without having too much choice. Staff generally very friendly.

We only stayed for one night which is a shame as we would really love to explore the beautiful city. The concierge at the desk spoke great English, was extremely helpful and witty, Room Service was absolutely fantastic, food was delicious, and there is a great breakfast selection. The location is excellent also, it's right in the centre and 20 mins away from the ferry port The room was really clean, however the room itself was cold. The young man at the desk did come up to the room to check. However, we couldn't change the panel it wasn't a major issue. The hotel is also pet friendly, with underground parking. We would definitely return again for a long weekend

Good hotel to be in Bilbao, don't need more than this for a couple of days. Good prices, excellent and centric location.

The room (a junior suite) was very quiet and comfortable, though a bit dusty in some corners. The temperature in the room was perfect. Breakfast was good. All people from the hotel staff have been very nice and welcoming.

The room was spacious but it is starting to look tired. The sofas are not too comfortable to sit on for too long. We had more than one problem with the key (to get in) and the room could have been cleaned to a better standard.

Very nice modern and clean rooms. Very good location within the city. Would recommend a stay as priced very well. Very friendly and courteous staff.

Sandra at reception was a positive caring professional who made sure all our needs were met----. she even got in touch with our tour guide to Biarritz and Saint Sebastian to arrange and confirm a pick up location and time. Without her help we surely would have missed this tour. She was always available to help us find our way around town and highlighted our routes from the hotel to our destination. Although the location of the hotel was very good, the hotel itself was lacking any atmosphere. We also discovered on arrival (Friday), that both cafe and restaurant were closed until the Monday. Not good for a weekend trip! Breakfast was good and beds comfortable which earned a 3. We asked to borrow a corkscrew but had to bring bottle down as it wasn't allowed away from reception. Likewise with key to unlock window had to be returned immediately. Not particularly good arrangements.

My husband and I spent 4 days at this hotel.we did not like our first room as it had no view but was rectified very quickly with the help of reception staff especially Luis who recommended some day trips ftom the city to algortha a lovely little town very scenic.rooms very clean but a bit too stark a bit of color would not go amiss.overall very central and modern hotel

Everything in the hotel was good; I just think there were a few essentials missing in the room. Other than that, we stayed just right next to the reception, and it was good but it felt a bit less private. The highligh was the personal!! From the front desk team to everyone working in the restaurant, they were all excellent.

I was given a room right next to reception. Hotel was full of young kids who were screaming day and night.( not their fault they are kids) but after a long day I was looking forward to take some rest but this was not possible due to noise. Hotel staff didn’t even bother to resolve the situation . I asked for different room but this was not possible

Excellent location. The room was spacious, looked as good as new, was very clean with excellent amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. An ideal hotel for a holiday in Bilbao.

Location was good, but reception was very slow and ineffective. I had to complain to make sure I had rooms accordingly to my reservation. Also, the process to identify guests was something unbeleivable. In the end only two were identified. Not acceptable in a hotel 4* with such a high volume of clients per day. The rooms were good and clean. No problems there.

The hotel is excellent and we eould stay again. Our suite was huge amd very well appointed. The only issue we struck was the 4pm check in. Being so late meant that the accumulation of guests wanting to check in throughout the day results in w long que at 4pm. Staff are lovely but check in policy ponderous.

It was ok. Breakfast was fine- nothing to talk about. In rooms was no complimentary water, in gym no water to drink. For me it did not feel like a 4 star hotel. Location is good, quiet at night

Basic room and amenities for the price, I moved to a better hotel in town for the rest of my stay. I asked for an iron and was told that I would have to wait for the cleaner to arrive. I pushed back on this and the man at reception finally brought it to me. However when at a hotel, you shouldn't feel like you are troubling the staff to help you (minimally). I will say though that Elena at reception was super helpful and really helped me out during my stay.

Our original booking had been at the Ayala but that was not ready and so we were re-booked into the Coliseo with a free breakfast thrown in. This proved to be a lovely hotel. It was nice and quiet with attentive staff. The breakfast was superb. I foolishly left a small item in the safe and we are hopeful that it is going to be sent back to us after a phone conversation with the receptionist.

The hotel is in a good location. It's close to the old quarter and near buses to airport and/or bus intermodal. The staff was professional and helpful. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I had a king bed and it was huge. I slept so well. This is my favorite hotel in Bilbao for many reasons.

Super helpful and friendly staff beautiful room for 3 people and a dog even a drinking bowl and dog bed was set up in the room. we were too early, luggage could be stored and the car could already be stored in the garage under the hotel. You cannot reserve a parking space, but it was taken into account. we went into town and after 45 minutes we received an email that the room was ready. nice central location for shopping but also close to the old center with restaurants and bars. We liked it so much that we booked an extra night. that was possible, everything was arranged, same room, parking space extended. super! for the price quality highly recommended Nice gym, didn’t use breakfast service but looked good

The location is great, that's the best thing I can say about the hotel. The room was not so clean, the shower has issues with the water temperature, I told the front desk but nobody did anything about it, except for telling me that "no one else has complained about this issue"...Breakfast isn't great. I've been to many 4-star hotels in Spain and expected more. Disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sercotel Coliseo Bilbao Hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. My room was spacious, clean and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Sercotel Coliseo Bilbao Hotel for anyone visiting Bilbao. The combination of friendly staff, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers.

Sercotel Bilbao was well located, close to shops, restaurants and only 15 minutes walk from Guggenheim. Good private secure parking once you find their carpark. Spacious room with very comfortable kingsized bed. Slept really well as was nice and quiet too. Staff were really informative and helpful. Would stay there again.

Missing some of the basic services in the room that makes this a four star hotel. Rooms are very bare. Shower didn't hold temperature, going suddenly from very hot to very cold. Staff at breakfast were dreadful and not sure what they were doing.

the place is excellent, the room is very good, I only have a few points that I think should be better prepared, I am lactose intolerant and they didn't have anything for breakfast, they should indicate on the website the height of the car park as it is a factor because without having that information, I was taken by surprise inside the park with a sign indicating height 2.10 and my car with a roof bag is at that limit, but it accomplished the objective, yes I recommend it.

Modern and clean in a great location. Staff were wonderful. Room has large bathroom, comfortable bed, mini fridge and small safe. The hotel offers a nice breakfast and has a gym.

My flight has been cancelled today and I had to go all the way back to Bilbao and thanks to God I got placed into this amazing hotel. Many thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality to Itziar from the reception and Kamil from the service team. I can absolutely recommend this hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious,it is just located in the heart of Bilbao. I will have a great night here. And the food is really good including price performance.

Your Hotel has a good location with walking distance to everything you need. It was a little bit noisy when guests arrived from the elevator and walked in the corridors.

Perfect and better than it’s price point. Amazing location to enjoy Bilbao and/or work. Extremely nice staff, elegant and efficient enough to be in a luxury hotel. Special thanks to the young man in the restaurant lounge with the free coffee water and biscuits. Extremely spacious and pleasant rooms, loads of lounge space to work or do life admin or have a drink. The lounge can look a bit dark and uninspired but if the weather allows it has a lovely and huge patio with tables to enjoy.
