A place where adventures begin. The staff was kind and worked around my strange arrival. The beds are clean and the location is great, but the atmosphere is really what sets this place apart. It's a very social space, and clearly run by people who care. The only bad experience I had here was losing at chess to a man from Zambia.

Friendly staff and perfect location in the old town of the city. Really easy to reach any place and attraction of the city and 5min walk from one of the main metro stop that realy well connect the entire city and the surrounding reaching also the beach! Small rooms but enough for sleep! Comfy beds, socket and own light next your pillow, big locker room to store your own luggage, you need a lock but they also have some for you!! Little living rom on the top floor with the tv and terrace facing the little street and amazing colorful buildings! I loved anyway to stay in the common area at the reception, with chars, table, couches, pillows and a lot of books!! The kitchen well equipped with plates, cups and few microwaves, but it's not possible to cook your own meal. Breakast really simple but included! Small common bathroom but clean and the rooms also have been clean every day.

This place is wunderful. It has a very cozy common area which makes it easy to meet new people. The atmosphere is familiar and the staff is very friendly and helps you out whenever you need it. The hostel is perfectly located in casco viejo which is the old town of Bilbao where you can find many nice restaurants and bars. I will always come back :-)

Great vibe and great people. Your results may vary ofcouse since basically the people that are there while you visit won't be the same as the people I met!

Clean, very friendly staff, free (although very basic) breakfast, good location, but sadly almost no social atmosphere. Recommend for hikers or small groups, but not so much for solo travellers.

Clean, friendly staff, good beds and pillow, central, and breakfast included. Only thing not so handy, is that there is indeed a kitchen with cutting boards, cutlery, plates...but only with microwaves and a small oven, no other heating/cooking possibilities.

Great location and very friendly staff! The breakfast was also very good. The Lobby Area is also very nice to meet other people. The volunteers organize trips and afternoon activities which are great to meet new friends!

Really nice hostel in the old part of Bilbao. This neighborhood is full of activities, bars, restaurants etc. and also within walking distance to the newer part with the Guggenheim museum. The staff here is friendly and accommodating, and there was a small breakfast included with bread, cereal and fruit options. We are a couple and stayed on the top floor in a room with two bed. On this floor is also a small communal area and a balcony. This closes at 10. The room itself was spacious and we had a bedroom down the hall. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from outside after 10pm, and the room is not very well insulated so bring some earplugs if you don't like to sleep with the sounds of the city. The room had air-conditioning which can also let some warm air into the room if you would like to.

Such amazing, lovley, careful working-people and the atmosphere was amazing, so cozy. I never felt that comfortable in a hostel as in this one. The breakfast was also always yummie and I guess the price is even to low for what they offer. Thank you for everything, i will come back once! ❤🙏

The main pro: the staff is extremely nice and helpful. There is a good atmosphere in the hostel. Downsides: the rooms are incredibly noisy and the beds are very cramped. Sometimes guest stand around drinking in front of the hostel and the staff doesn't enforce the quiet hours (because they seemed to not be around?). Result: 5 drunk guests keeping the rest of the hostel awake. A sign on the door would be a good start. I find it puzzling that the hostel hasn't followed up on the requests to install hooks in the bathrooms, although these are mentioned in the reviews for years! Like, how much effort is that? Generally bathrooms are small, run down and not cleaned very often (they are dirty) Although there are nice aspects to this hostel, I don't think I would come back

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely kitchen and common area. Rooms and bathrooms are very poor. But bed are comfortable.

I loved my stay in this hostel. It's located in a cute part of town. Staff is great and interacted with the guests besides just checkin/out. There's no kitchen but I didn't feel limited by it because of the oven, fridge and kettle. Free breakfast was great. Rooms were fine and cleaned daily. Just thought the lower bunks were a bit too low; I hit my head daily. There are no roomcards but codes which I found a bit too long to remember easily. Common area felt like a livingroom; very welcoming!

Really nice hostel vibe with helpful and friendly staff. Communal areas well thought out so you mix with other travellers. Perfect for solo travellers. Only minor improvement would be privacy curtains in dorms.

Great atmosphere and place to stay. Don’t like that the sheets and all stained. Everything has stains and some of them brown! I liked that what you use (outside sheets, ie bathroom) are kept clean daily. But it was unsettling to see the parts that aren’t cleaned/you don’t really interact with (see photo)

I spent around 20 euros. The room has an air conditioner including breakfast. The staffs are very nice. The looby feel like a shop much more that typical one. It is very close to Bilbao church of Santiago and train station. One of the best thing I have here.

Was ok but noisy from the street, holiday in Spain. Lower bunk beds not high enough , rooms a bit tiny as well toilets. Staff very friendly and helpful
