I don't understand why someone gave bad review on this hotel (like the stairs comment it's ridiculous it's like two shorts stairs) . For the price I think it's perfect. Clean room (they changed towels every morning), quiet (did not hear any noises) also the location is really good. The only thing I have to say if you have to go to Casco Vejio you gonna get through a neighborhood which, if you are a girl on a solo trip like me, it could be kinda of overwhelming so I will suggest to use the road that leads directly to the station and don't follow Google Maps 😂 a part from that, it's a good place!

the room was beautiful and very clean. the location of hotel is perfect. within 10 minutes and you’re at the center of Bilbao. Also, there is a coworking area, where you can silently do your work or study, which i find it perfect! However, there was a lack of fresh air circulation. There are barley no windows. Also, it is noisy at nights, so be prepared.

Cyclists beware of this hotel! After reserving a room, we arrived with two bicycles. The only comment, we got from the woman at the reception was 'not posible'. We asked, if we could take the bicycles up to the room, and the only reply was 'not possible'. After asking for a reason, we again got a 'not possible' without any further explanations. When we asked her to contact her supervisor, she refused. To summarize, she showed absolutely no willingness to find a solution. We would have accepted a 'not possible', if a reason would have been given. But essentially been thrown out without any explanation, that's from our point of view a no-go.

Drilling and renovating starts sharp at 8AM. If you are planning to have some sleep. Not a place for you. Front desk is not in at that time yet but the workers surely are.

We had a regular room with a comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. We really liked the interior design of the whole place. Sadly the location is not good at all. Poor public transit connections and its on a steep hill on the outskirts of downtown Bilbao. While it looks close to everything on a map, the steep hill really makes it uncomfortable if you just need to grab something from your room during the day. Also it’s noticeable that the area is not the nicest part of town and some of the neighboring streets were pretty smelly and seemed sketchy. Overall I enjoyed the stay and liked the interior, but the location together with the overall quality there, I feel like the price we payed was too much and we could’ve gotten more out of our money from hotels at a similar price closer to downtown.

FRAUD-STOLEN MONEY Via booking app, the account of the hotel was hacked and the criminals asked to verify our card with no change but THEY DID STOLE OUR MONEY. The hotel did nothing to compensate for the fraud and there was no answer every time we asked. Overall during our stay, the air-conditioning had no option for heat, the dispenser of the shower gel was broken, there was no elevator and the location was on a hill. WE SAID REPEATEDLY OUR COMPLAINTS TO THE GUY AT THE FRONT DESK BUT THE GUY IS NO UNPROFESSIONAL THAT HE SAID HE TRIED BUT COULDN'T SOLVE THE MYSTERY?/? OF THE AIR-CONDITIONING AND THE BROKEN DISPENSER.

Well situated and within a 15 minute walk of city centre. Clean and comfortable rooms, easy check in. Don’t understand the bad reviews - it’s Europe, sometimes so you may need to take a flight or two of stairs sometimes. Also had working air con.

The room was very clean. Great price for a nice hotel in a central location with air conditioning.

A bit dated but staff were very friendly and beds were comfortable, in need of a slight facelift. Location was ideal, walking distance and close to everything. Quirky area, not the posh end of Bilbao but it has a lot of character and really nice cafes and bars around.

Very good hotel for a fair price. Rooms are new, clean and comfy. The staff was very helpful and we had a great stay!

Expensive hotel regarding the poor quality of the rooms and the lack of insonorisation. We do not recommend this place. Only advantage is that it is 15 minutes walk from the center.

If you are sentimental and like genuinely atmospheric, rough around the edges type places this will be cool. What is iffy is the facilities. The rooms are kept to the bare minimum without essentials such as shower gel. Funnily enough somehow I managed to get low on toilet paper and it wasn't even replaced (lol). The rooms are clean but a bit tatty. The atmosphere is really cool like something stuck in time. That sort of 80s feeling. What saved this hotel is the staff. They are absolutely fantastic. Both receptionists were enthusiastic and helpful each single time. It is not everyone's cup of tea so unless the room is much cheaper than nearby chain hotels then be wary of what I wrote above.

The hotel was centrally located and easy access. The Wifi did not work properly, only in a few parts of the hotel. The walls, doors and windows have no kindof sound proofing at all. All night we could hear talking outside and we could hear the couple next door "enjoy each" other way too loud.

Cheap hotel, around 20-30 minutes walk from city center. Rooms are small and nothing special but have everything one needs. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Don't expect anything from the breakfast.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. The rooms and lack of air circulation were small and thin walls do not help. Not handicap friendly. We opted for breakfast at an additional cost, which was a mistake. We could have enjoyed a great breakfast elsewhere at the same cost.

I did not like hotel. No disabled facilities and lots of stairs. Staff were helpful with baggage. eu law I understood there must be disabled facilities in public places. Breakfast very poor. Left hotel a day earlier as very dark and drab.

Good hotel away from the city noise yet you are close to the city center no need to use cars, can walk view the city.
