Lovely place with fab views of Bilbao (when it's not cloudy!). €15 per night gives you toilet (you have to go and get the key each time), WiFi (in front of reception only) and usual grey/black waste and water fill. Very steep road up and down, we got a bit lost going out and ended up on some hairy descent roads into Bilbao centre before finding our way out

Very convenient stop for Bilbao. Full services for motorhome. Toilets on site and bread. If wet some pitches are quite muddy Need to book to guarantee a place. If you turn up on spec then you need to be early 09:00am to wait for any free spaces and it's a first cum first served. Be patient with the staff on site as they work very hard to try and accommodate everyone as best they can on limited availability.

Great site to stay and visit Bilbao. Reserve if you can. Bus 58 into Bilbao, bus stop 100m down hill, not the first stop you see, just round the corner on the right. Staff very friendly and helpful

Booked three months in advance, explained, in two emails and the booking form we had a car with a rooftop tent. We provided pictures of the tent on the car for clarification, told it would be no problem. Booking confirmed. Arrived and told us it was impossible for us to stay. They told us to go camp on a street in the city instead. My 4 year old son was told he couldn't use the toilet as the staff member wanted to mop the floor. Told he must wait 10 minutes. My girlfriend went to use the toilets later that evening and was told they were closed for the night but they would allow her this once. Very happy to take booking and payment, then everything became a problem and we were made to feel like we were the issue. Very disappointing, would be an amazing place if the owner/staff wanted. Views of the city are amazing and the only redeeming feature.

Excellent stopover. Stayed 2 nights as we loved it the last time we were here . Great city to visit and handy bus service to the centre runs outside the campsite. Toilet facilities but no showers. Reception sells milk and bread and refreshments.Geordies Ron and Sheila.

Stayed overnight here June 2022 , to visit the Guggenheim museum and catch a ferry the next day. Really helpful staff, flat terraced site. Good size pitches. Amazing view over city. City Bus stop nearby.. I highly recommend this Motorhome site.

Very good location, bus stop outside to city centre. Great bar for weekends close by. 16A electric, water available and black and grey water disposal. Fantastic views to the city.

Stop over place before catching the ferry back to England for us. Basic site in many ways, only 3 toilets - male, female, disabled - key from reception required. Shame a bit more investment couldn't be found to add showers and a kitchen wash area. Good size pitches many with fantastic views of the city. Only €15/ night so very cheap. Easy bus ride into the city virtually from the gates of the site. Nice helpful staff.

Awesome place. You will have a beautiful view from almost any spot. Much better than the places next to the hostel. It is a bit far on foot to the city center but worth it. Steep hill to back up too. There is a bus you can take instead. No showers only toilet (need to get a key each time from reception). Electricity included.

Great location, high up with a brilliant view across the city. Staff are really friendly and they have fresh baguettes every morning for 1 euro! Pitches are flat and have EHU - for €15 a night. Toilet block is accessed by a key in reception so it's not available from 11pm to 8am. No showers or pot washing facilities on site. Maximum stay is 2 nights - not sure why, but that's the rule!

For the price, the crooked pitches, far walk to the toilets, and distance to the city didn’t seem worth it. No strong issues, just not impressed. Lame pre-sweetened coffee machine and bread available if pre-ordered.

We have used this site for a number of years. It overlooks the city in a lovely setting with a great park beside it. The staff are very helpful and there is a frequent bus service into the city. No showers but that is not really a problem given all its other positives.

Lovely lady greeted us on arrival and checked us in. You always want to book online before arriving. The views over the city are amazing. Electric and water on the pitch. You can stay up to 2 nights. The bus from just down the road runs every 20 mins. Takes about 35 minutes to get to the end of the line and that’s right by the old town. Cost €1.70 each way. On the way back get off at the stop past the site and walk down to the site. Reception are very helpful and also give you a map. Just sitting in the van in the evening looking down on the city was delightful. Bilbao is a great place to visit.

Shocking & reprehensible behaviour from this company, closing the only viable aire in Bilbao for nearly a month at peak season. 29.6.22 - 22.7.22. Ruined my plans for visiting the city & now no doubt yours....... l was a given a vague reference on the phone to a place at Gexto but could only find a motorhome storage place in the middle of an industrial estate. The other option may be at the Bilbao exhibition Centre, but this is not somewhere I would want to stay & may not even be viable. Instead I had to stay at Camping Sopelena (see unsatisfactory review) which is a 2.4 (return) mile (3.8 KM) hike up & down hills to a long (& possibly crowded) metro trip to Bilbao. Why the local Bilbao council cant set up a temporary pop up campsite to deal with whatever nonsence is going on here, I dont know ? Maybe they dont want tourists ?

Nicely located MH park beside a bus route into the city (#58). €15/24 hrs inc electric and waste waters, but no showers or washing area. HOWEVER, the big drawback is the noise from a next door house that has 3/4 dogs that bark throughout the day and the night. The front pitches are a bit better, but they suffer from road noise, which reduces during the night.

Arrived at 2pm with 2 other camper vans and we all got in. Departure time is the same as arrival time. Friendly receptionist, informative. Great spot owing to the views. 3 euro travel card will cover you on buses/tram/underground all day. Photo is the view from plot 55.

Great spot for the night, amazing views over Bilbao. Didn't use the facilities so can't comment on them. The staff were great.

Perfect place to access Bilbao city....great service with Panoramic views. Prices are very reasonable with very helpful and friendly staff...no showers was tge only negative...would definitely stay again.

Upealla paikalla kaupungin yläpuolella ja näkymä yöiseen kaupunkiin oli todella hieno. Oltaisiin oltu pidempään, mutta max aika oli 2 päivää. Wc oli siistit ja puhtaat, mutta suihkun puute oli miinusta. Onneksi autosta löytyy suihku 🤗 Lisä hauskuutta toi naapurimaatilan eläimet 😁

Great place to park a campervan and nice to stay overnight! Great vista on Bilbo as well. Lots of option to walk your dog.

Apart from epic view, electricity and grey water discharge there is nothing there to look for. One toilet for 100 people, no showers, no dishwashing station, quite unwelcoming setup imho. Definitely not coming back there.

I don't recommend it to anyone! they are deceitful, they promised us a place and once we had paid for the place, he said he was not available and he did not return our money! we left with a loss of 15 euros and no place to stay. We called the police who told us they couldn't do anything! Revolting! I'll never go near that place again.

would not recommend!!! extremely unfriendly staff. dont expect more than just a very expensive parking lot (with a nice view). they open and close the entrance bar and the toilets at any time they want (even though they say its from 9.00 until 17.00) and if you have questions about anything they only say that 'they cannot help you because of the boss

Nice and clean area for mobile homes. Beautiful view to Bilbao city area. Goid area for walking and hiking, park right next to car park. Restaurant close, 200 meters. No kitchen available for cooking or do the dishes. No shower, but you can buy shower and breakfast package 5 €/person from Bilbao hostel. You can walk to hostel downstairs, prepare to climb up, or you can take a bus. Easy acces to the city by bus. Bus stop close by. Recommend this place.

Great place. Well thought out. Fab view. Quiet sleep. Very safe..gate locked at 11pm.Friendly staff. Bus into Bilbao easy n cheap. Tourist bus 15€ for 24hrs...you can actually walk around easily if you have a map and an idea of where you want to go. Would recommend site stopover. Use it and don't abuse it..very clean n tidy. 👏😁

The site itself was ok, EHU, water at each pitch 15 euros 24 hrs. Pitches were grass with mesh so muddy when wet. Don't always trust your sat nav as it took us the wrong way & we had to reverse down a very narrow, steep hill. Look out for yellow signs re autocamping. It was silly that you couldn't book for more than one night on arrival you have to go back before midday the following day & ask for another stay. Staff were rude this Fri & Sat & quite arrogant. When you went into reception they didn't look up to even exchange pleasantries immediately they'd continue their conversation & you had to wait until they then looked up miserably as if you were a nuisance. Taxis 20 euros to get into the city centre as a long way to walk & very steep. OK for a couple of nights to see the sights. Nice baguettes from reception 1 euro.

Great place for an overnight stay. Fabulous views over the city. Every space has water and electric you can buy fresh bread from reception, water milk and ice. Very clean and secure.

We were given a very curt "full, completo", parking next door "prohibito" . No help with alternatives at all. We ended up in a small free aire in Zamudio, right next to a railway station, so access to Bilbao not a problem. It's by no means pretty, but it will do for an overnight before catching the ferry.

Nice reception staff, great spots with lots of space for a regular parking. The view above the city is amazing at night. Very quiet place at night. The bus leaves right next to it (line 58). It takes you 20 minutes to get into the city. One little con: no big trash cans
