High quality Hostel. The 7,50€ breakfast is good and the rooms are brand new and clean as. Very friendly staff, the bar is nice and the lollipops are great.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it enough. The rooms have great water pressure in the showers fantastic shampoo and gel and great service the staff is super friendly very helpful I can't begin to recommend this place more. The location is amazing it's right across the street from the train station and about half a kilometer from the center of the Old Town. The rooms are modern clean and very comfortable you cannot go wrong just book it!!!!!! And free baggage storage after you've checked out and if you want to wander around the city before you depart they'll take care of you. Adrian

Located just outside the station, close to metro, bus and Tram stops! Walkable distance to all main streets and places. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm, spacious, screens on each bed, clean and comfy! Good breakfast and various events in the evenings! Totally recommend it.

This worked so well for us—right across from the train station, 10 minutes walk to the airport bus, super-friendly staff, cozy room, comfy beds, great vegan pizza. It’s pricey for a hostel, but we couldn’t find anything cheaper in the center of Bilbao.

Great location at a primary transit hub, short walk to the old town and backing onto a pedestrian street of restaurants. Great breakfast....best I've had during my 5 weeks in Spain. Clean and well maintained facility. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling to Bilbao.

Location and place is okay however the quiet moment was ruined at around 1AM by some few travelers or I don’t know who were inconsiderate and were loud during the night. I know it’s a 6 bed dorm but at least we should be somehow mindful of the people around us. Haven’t experienced this in other hostels during my entire Europe travel.

This upscale hostel is perfectly located in the city center just across from the main train station. The reception area is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating and a bar serving drinks and pastries. I found my room well lit and well equiped for a perfect stay in Bilbao. Well done Latroupe!

Bilbao, I will always come back to you, what a city! Staff was helpful, some were friendlier than others, that's the way it goes. Fun thing about those "meet up" events they have, like beer pong etc... They never happen. When I asked the staff told me "Oh, there's not enough people interest" etc., etc.. I don't really mind, and it worked out in the end. People would come down to the bar and meet up and make plans for the night. There are tons of great people who come through those doors to meet. Location was phenomenal. 10/10 surely. I would probably come back to this hostal just because its nostalgic for me now, great people were met, and great times were had. Its clean, quiet, and the location is great.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hostel and my overall experience in Bilbao. Affordable price & nice beds with a cover for privacy when sleeping. Aitz, who helped me out at the front desk, was very kind and helpful — all in all, a warm welcome to Bilbao.

Everything is good in this place. Clean and comfortable. The staff are polite, ready to help and nice. The lobby are very beautiful, you can share some drinks with people there. Internet is working well in all the hostel. The location is perfect, near to coffeehouse, bars, restaurants, metro station, buses, shopping and places to visit. The hour for check in is from 15:30. But they can keep your luggage safe if you arrive before.

Good value for money. Located in the city centre close to everything, and the rooms were spacious. The bed was also so comfortable. There's a downstairs bar area where they serve pintxos too. Dropped one star because the evening staff blatantly ignored me whilst i was standing there for 20 minutes, and nobody on check in lets you know that towels are not included. Apart from that it was perfect :)

A modern, clean hostel, set in a great location to explore Bilbao. The staff were fantastic throughout, friendly and approachable. The double room was big enough for what we needed and had ample storage space. The walk shower was amazing. Probably the best I've experienced whilst travelling. The curtains could have been better for blocking out the light. Despite being on a busy street, the noise from outside was minimal. Unfortunately, the noise from the corridors was disruptive. Every morning and some nights our sleep was broken by noisy guests moving along the corridors. We didn't take breakfast but a buffet was available for €6. The bar and reception area was very cosy and welcoming. The hot drinks and wine were exceptional. For the price, this is a fantastic place to stay. It was only let down by poor soundproofing in the corridors.

really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so lovely, and the common areas were very well thought out. My room was one of the nicest hostel rooms I have stayed in (I chose a 4-bed room) the beds were super comfy and had curtains :)

We stayed at one of the private rooms. So damn awesome! Very good location, very clean room, awesome breakfast, amazing balcony. Big room and huuuuge bathroom. Aitzi in the entrance was very nice and gave good tips!

This was my first hostel experience and I think I’ve been ruined for life, in a great way. The location was the best thing I could have asked for. When traveling for 3 months solo I have a check and carryon bag so walking around is a chore. Their location is PERFECT, just a couple of steps from the tram, metro and train station and just a metro ride away from the bus station, where I arrived. I was only in the city for a night and was able to see everything I wanted in less than 3 hours because their location is so close to everything. The inside is SUPER clean, staff was amazingly helpful, and the common areas are so beautiful, I didn’t feel like I was in a hostel. I didn’t see a kitchen area for guest use, but I did sample their breakfast. Everything was very simple but great. The rooms are fairly small but have everything you need. The locker even fit my huge luggage. My carryon backpack stayed on my bed but that’s no problem. Overall, amazing first hostel experience!

I want to give better ratings but sadly I didn't get the best experience there. The bedding smelt of dampness, the headboard was dusty causing me an allergy flare up. Bathroom door didn't lock. The room was too hot as other older women I shared the room with didn't want the AC on! Spent a sleepless night. On the bright side, the location is great. Affordable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Everything else was super great about the place except for the washer/ dryer. There was only one of each for the whole building, so there was a long line to use it and the dryer didn’t properly dry my clothes. Happy with everything else

Top location to explore Bilbao, a bit far away from the main bus station and soccer stadium but very close to the city center and old town! The rooms and bathrooms are clean and have enough space. Breakfast is far better then expected! There is a small common area at the reception.

Best hostel I’ve been to in a while. Very travellers friendly, if you are solo travelling they even have a WhatsApp group to meet new people. It’s also in the center of Bilbao the location could not be any better. Very nice room and lovely shower! 10/10 would recommend

A quality youth hostel. I've been travelling alone for years, and here I've found everything I like in a hostel: premium location, smiling and super-friendly staff, clean rooms with curtains to make the sleeping area more private, a real shower... etc. I recommend it! Amazing hostel. I booked a triple private room. Great size, overlooking Plaza Circular (very central location). Spotless clean, nice modern decor. Elements of the original cafe still entact (newly renovated into a hostel since 2021). Nice underground bar area serving beer, drinks and some light snacks. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast needs to be prebooked as area is small and busy. Tasty breakfast and good selection. Parking near enough the hostel cost us E26 for one full day + approx 3 hours.

Hands down one of the hostel I've stayed!. The location is unbeatable, staff is very friendly, they also have thematic nights where you can meet new people, also,everything was spotless and the rooms were well distributed!. Definitely coming back!.

The location is amazing. The room is badly designed. Not sure why the bathroom is sectioned into 3 different things (shower, sink, toilet). It's super uncomfortable, and has no privacy. My toilet room had no lock. The doors all open into the room so it's super uncomfortable to get out. The "very complete breakfast" was very underwhelming. It's buffet style but there's very little to choose from; most are unhealthy choices. The breakfast place is quite small, the buffet section clearly wasn't designed for the amount of people that go there.

Fantastic facilities not only in private rooms but also in shared rooms. Great common spaces, clean and well organized. Friendly staff. Great spot into the city. I wish It had more social activities such as day trip or family dinners, but they have a WhatsApp group. Anyway, was easy to lee people at commonn spaces. Totally recommend this place yo host in Bilbao

This is a really well run hostel situated in the best part of Bilbao. You are no more than a short walk to both the old town and the Guggenheim area and there is a tourist office just across the road. The beds are super comfortable with lockers underneath and they have a curtain rail for privacy. There is a kitchen and dining room upstairs and a cafe/Common area on the ground floor. The receptionists are very helpful and although check in isn't until 3pm they will let you leave your bag there. It's a bit more expensive but is certainly one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

A great Hostel if you want to stay in Bilbao. But I can’t give 5 stars since a few things were not optimal. Towel is only available after renting it out, it would be nice to know that when checkin in. Additionally, the shower couldn’t be locked which is a bit suboptimal in a dorm room. Other than that, very friendly people working here. The atmosphere is good, as well as the location inside of Bilbao. Also very modern hostel.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in by some distance! The only complaint I had was that the breakfast service was overwhelmed with the number of guests queuing up in the morning. This caused a little delay but nothing too bad.

Wonderful Hostel. Location is spot on where everything is happening in Bilbao, and a quick walk from Guggenheim. Beds are super comfy with individual charges, shelfs, and plenty of space in the room. Place is extremely clean, and the staff is the cherry on top of the cake. Shout out to Francisco, Brigitte, Aida and Paco, but the whole team is off the chart! Amazing stay, and can't wait to come back.

I highly recommend this hostel!! It is a very good and new hostel! Everything is very nice and clean! The staff is also very friendly and social! And the bus and metro is just in front of the door! I was here for 7 days in a 8bed dorm. That's quite a time because many people stay here only for a few days. During these days I really enjoyed the peace in this hostel. In the bar were except from the staff always people to talk with. We were often drinking beers and coffee's in the bar. And the breakfast was very very good! I stayed for three nights with my girlfriend. The room was clean and we had a nice view over the Plaza. The staff is very nice and we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was good. Nothing to complain. But the feeling was more like a hotel than a hostel.

Hotel facilities and location are great, the shower in particular was really good. I would recommend to couples, families, but not to groups of friends who are looking to listen to music between 10pm-12, or drink alcohol in their room as both are banned. I received a fine of €150 without being notified the morning after a Friday evening playing music late on, the manager then had a change of mind and issued a refund. I appreciated this but the initial fine had already led to me being charged fees by my bank. I was surprised the manager was able to do this without notifying a customer. It left a bit of a sour taste in the mouth.

The hostel is located in a historic building near the metro, train and bus stations, and has a modern and hip vibe. The whole hostel is clean, especially the room I stayed at and the bathroom. I liked the fact that they were not using single use toiletries and instead had dispensers for shampoo and soap in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful, and I enjoyed one of their Thursday English practice events which was very well attended. As this is a hostel, other guests could get quite noisy, but that's largely beyond the hostel's control.

A very clean, modern, and welcoming hostel in a great location in Bilbao. Social events each night in the lobby, great room amenities like en-suite bathrooms, curtains, plugs, USB outlets, and bed lights. Common spaces and rooms were very nice and clean, and the staff were super helpful when we decided to stay another night. 6 minute walk to a large train station and literally across the street from another metro station and bus stop. HIGHLY recommend this hostel for travelers looking to spend time in Bilbao.

Small and nearly not visible entrance. But very nice renovated building with a really new and modern interior. Booked a bed in a shared room (4) and everything was clean and new. And special thanks to the really nice and friendly people who are working there.

I only stayed here for one night, but I felt the good vibes and energy of the hostel. It felt safe, well taken care of, spacious, young, and overall just very good. The showers and bathrooms were directly accessible from the room, which is also very good. Just stay like this, I really think you have the formula of success!

I only stopped through for one night, but I was totally impressed! The receptionists were warm and patient with my attempts to practice Spanish, the room was very clean, and the hostel even had unusually luxurious touches like a beautiful lounge and rainfall showerheads (!!). Would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay here, it's in an exceptional location. Although I did enjoy my stay I am writing a review to talk about the customer service. Staff were really friendly and willing to explain to us how to get to certain destinations and food recommendations. Once I left I accidentally left an important item and was facing a hard time getting what I needed until Aitziber a dedicated and attentive employee helped me. They were responsive and took my concern seriously and helped me with getting my item back to me. Thank you so much Aitziber, you're amazing and a true life saver!

We stayed in an individual room. It was clean, neat, and comfortable. The people at the reception were considerate and helpful. Perfect location to reach most of the attractions by foot or public transport. Adding a chair and a kettle in the room would be helpful. In the bathroom, only two hooks were there. A bar to hang clothes would also be helpful.

It's a hostel with a great hostel vibe located in a perfect spot next to all bars, restaurants and next to the metro station. Bus to the airport in a walking distance. I really liked the shower/bath facilities. Beds were comfy but I had a feeling that my linen wasn't fresh. People don't follow silence rules, so we had a guy who was talking by phone inside the room till midnight, so no chance to sleep. The air was tough in the room, it was hot. Walls are rather thin, so no chance to hide your toilet actions(fart not so loud 🤣).

A very nice hostel I recommend to everyone. It's clean,has a cool design and the people who work there are very nice and helpful. The downside is we didn't get any towels and there was no dryer in the bathroom.

Everything was perfect, clean and amazing location. However the best part of it is the people in the reception, always willing to help even beyond their obligations. Facu from reception helped me and other guests a lot many times. Super recommended!!

I have a lot of time for this place. The hostel is really clean and presentable with good decoration throughout. The rooms are really nice with good showers and comfortable beds. The only thing that let it down for me was the lack of atmosphere in the bar. I would stay again if I am ever back in town.

Pleased with my experience at this place. First of all, the location is unbeatable: between Old town and central modern part of city, close to all landmarks. Clean space and bed linens, good amenities, stylish interior at all areas. Staff was very polite and friendly. Communication via email (aka customer service) is extremely helpful and efficient!

Very good experience at Latroupe La Granja. Room was comfortable and bed private. Very nice wc/shower setup. If I could only leave a suggestion is to have a shelf in the shower area and a cover to protect from water splashes. My palace to stay in Bilbao.

This place was very good. The staff are always on hand to help you and offer advice on things to do. No matter how many questions you have! The 4 bed female dorm with ensuite was calm and the shower was lovely. Quite rare for a hostel. I would definitely recommend this place if you are traveling alone as they have lots of nights organised to meet people :)

Bed is comfortable with curtain, decorations are modern and overall the hostel is very clean. The only downside for me is that the sink in the room can be noisy to those who are already sleeping sometimes.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Latroupe. It was a perfect location for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go, and the rooms were very comfortable. BEST SHOWER EVER!!!
