I recently stayed at Hotel bed4you Bilbao from 21st to 23rd May 2023, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by a distressing incident that occurred during my stay, as well as the hotel's disappointing lack of response. During our stay, my husband and I had our privacy violated when a staff member entered our room without proper notification or consent. Despite our attempts to communicate with them, the staff member showed a lack of professionalism and did not acknowledge our concerns. What is particularly disheartening is the hotel's complete silence in response to my formal complaint. I reached out to the management via email, providing detailed information about the incident and requesting compensation and an apology. However, my efforts were met with no response, indicating a lack of accountability and a failure to address the situation professionally. As a frequent traveler, I believe it is essential for hotels to take responsibility for their mistakes and promptly address guest concerns. Unfortunately, Hotel bed4you Bilbao has failed to meet these expectations. I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to potential guests. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel due to their disregard for guest privacy and their lack of responsiveness to complaints. Guest privacy and respect should never be compromised, and it is disappointing to see a reputable establishment fall short in these areas. I hope that the management of Hotel bed4you Bilbao takes immediate action to rectify this incident, ensuring a better experience for future guests. In conclusion, I encourage travelers to consider alternative accommodations that prioritize guest privacy, respect, and effective resolution of issues. My stay at Hotel bed4you Bilbao was deeply disappointing due to the invasion of privacy and the unsatisfactory response from the hotel.

Very comfortable rooms and hotel with everything you need. Loved the shower and the nice dinner and breakfast service. Very good wifi.

Very nice hotel, rooms were big and clean. Lovely to have a little welcome snack. Great reception, had a lot of recommendations from the staff. Great breakfast, typical Spanish and more continental, choice for everyone. Nice bar and sitting area for a drink or snack.

The stay was very pleasant experience. The room is spacious and well equiped. The is no mini bar/fridge in the room, though. The window Has a great shading shield do it is pretty dark at night. Everything is quiet, the bed and sheets are very comfortable. The shower is big with hit water. The TV has the chrome cast function and it works pretty well. You can easily relax in that room and have a great stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming. They even left a note and candy as a welcome gesture after preparing our room (since we arrived before check-in and had to wait some hours for housekeeping). We found the room plan smart and effective, with a comfortable bed and good maid service. Newly refurbished. A small mini-bar/fridge would have been great though, but apart from that we found this hotel to be good value and in comfortable walking distance to interesting sites in Bilbao. We recommend this hotel without hesitation. It met a traveling couple’s need with great hospitality.

For a three star hotel the rooms and facilities were great. The breakfast is really good with an option of different types of milk and a gluten free option. The staff were lovely. The only issue was when we asked for recommendations for dinner, we were recommend a restaurant. Looking it up it was really expensive! Overall really good stay.

very nice hôtel, very clean, very quiet and good beds, incredible breakfast with fresh orange juice and all you wish, my only small negative point are : for tee lovers very few choice, and no basics, and for a stay of one week i would like have at least one changing of sheets(because we pay every days the same price, we are not at home) . except those very small points, it was perfect and all the workers are very kind

Great value hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was good. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. 10-25 minute walk from all amenities.

Very disappointed with location. When we drove in to Bilbao, our driver was told that the bus was not able to park near hotel. We had to walk uphill over 500 metres dragging our suitcases and hand luggage all the way. We were a group of 38 and some of us over the age of 70! The Reception staff and spoke very rudely to members of our group. We had a long wait to get up to our rooms. Other guests were very noisy in the lift areas and corridors through the night. Dinner was very disappointing and took very long for staff to serve our meal. I am glad we only stayed there one night. Not a pleasant experience at all.

As some previous reviews already warned, the hotel is not located in the most sophisticated or glamorous part of Bilbao. I believe the neighbourhood is more working-class and surrounded by flats where immigrants or migrants live. To be candid, I actually regret a bit choosing this hotel after checking in and walking nearby streets. I guess the location explains its rather cheap price but high quality. However, to some extent I must thank this hotel for brining me to a corner of Bilbao that tourists normally don't have a chance to see. Before the visit, some friends told me the city has "nothing more than the Guggenheim museum." That is not true. By staying at this hotel, I saw the vibrant and diverse faces of Bilbao. The city is not just Basque or Spanish, but also Western African, Islamic and Chinese. I wouldn't say this area is "not safe" simply because there are many non-white people hanging out in the streets. When you see kids playing right next to this hotel, this shouldn't be "not safe". Five stars would have been given had they have a fridge in the room. :)

I was travelling with a group through Spain and our experience at the hotel was excellent. The location is just outside of the city center, within reasonable walking distance, and the service we received was great. The rooms and the hotel in general are modern and well maintained. The only complaint was that the showers are glass walled and exposed to the room. Given that we were sharing rooms with colleagues and classmates, some of the people in our group were uncomfortable showering in front of others. The hotel could consider offering a curtain on a tension rod to cover the glass for people sharing a room that aren't a couple.

New and tastefully designed and appointed hotel. Service was exceptional! Breakfast also very good!

- Service = great - Breakfast = awesome - Location is so so, taxi drivers refused to drive to the hotel, we had to walk - Rooms = you should be able to switch off the airco at night. Very cold air in the early hours.

Loved my stay at Bed4U. Super nice clean hotel. Great staff provided a secure place for my bike. The breakfast was great. The gym was really nice as well. And it's in a great neighborhood with everything you need. Deefinitiely recommend it!

Very well-appointed room and dining area. Great buffet breakfast! Staff were always friendly and super helpful. Excellent value for money. The only, small, problem was the fact that Bilbao is so hilly. Walking back to the hotel after a full day of sightseeing took a bit of effort. But it was definitely worth it!

The location is terrible and not safe to walk during the night. Is right next to troubled neighbourhood where you can clearly see police check points 24/7. Man wondering around reception in suit not very welcoming as he stares at guests. Reception ladies are somewhat helpful, guys are only helpful when is not near the end of their shift also didnt seem to have much knowledge of area. Rooms are small but bed was comfy. “Office” inside the room not really useful as it is opposite open bathroom!

The room was nice, with a very big TV, and a comfy bed. Super quiet and also warm. The shower didn't have any curtain, which was a bit annoying. The gym was small but nice, dumbbells up to 15 kg. Nice breakfasts for 12 euros. The only downside is apparently the location, which is borderline with "Las Cortes" neighborhood, which is full of immigrant. I didn't encounter any problem, but maybe you should be careful walking there at night (as google maps will direct you through it if you want to go to the old town) and take a longer route (e.g., through "Abando").

Had a short weekend stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in, room was clean, modern and comfortable. Only issue was the location, as the street outside was a little noisy at night, but other than that, enjoyed my stay

Really amazing hotel for the price, good value. I had a nice room, confy bed, modern shower, hi tech tv. Good facilities and breakfast and great staff. They even serving drinks until late.

Really enjoyed our stay at this minimalist hotel. So clean, well designed and lovely textures used throughout. Enjoyed breakfast. Location suited us as we like to walk. This was a little gem.

Very modern and comfortable hotel. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We had wifi and smart tv in the room! Only con was that the shower was only entirely glass with no physical walls separating bedroom and bathroom. Just sightly uncomfortable for those who prefer not being visible to others while taking a shower. Lol.

Very happy overall. Quite an impressive hotel in a quirky part of town. Aircon didn't really do the job though, and I had to ask for a blanket. Reception (very nice on the whole) did give me one but I had to insist. I always think blankets should always be in hotel rooms. Parking spaces are around but if you want 24h you may as well go for the hotel car park. Very happy on the whole with this impressive hotel.

This is a great hotel. Modern quiet rooms, good breakfast. The only downside is that its too expensive for what you are getting. €100 a night is expensive and you have to pay €15 a night for parking . Wich makes the base total a €115 a night. The hotel is close to the old city center. It was a great place to stay after a 1400 km drive but price/quality balance is off.

Don’t be fooled by the area it is located in, this hotel is clean, modern and cosy. The service was friendly and helpful. Our room had a separate small living room which doubled as a hallway, which we reused as a bedroom for our toddler. One downside is that the room was a bit dark.

This hotel was a really good experience. easy to access with easy parking around it. The room was really clean and confortable. the service was amazing and I will recommend to go with the breakfast for your visit.

Rainfall shower was beautiful. Breakfast was great, lots of options and really filling, with Nespresso coffee. TV also seamlessly connected to my phone for streaming via Chromecast built into the TV, which you don't often get in a hotel. Only thing is the location is a little bit out the way.

Stayed for two nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a large bed -- and NOT two twin beds attached together, and the pillows were the right size. The bathroom had the usual toiletries. Our room did not have body lotion or Kleenexes, but the staff was happy to provide upon request. The shower was awesome. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Location of the property is easy to find and is near Old Town.

Located in the city centre, 5 minutes walk from everything, 7 minutes walk from the 1st metro station. The room is clean and sufficient for 1 person (2 with queen size bed). What I really liked about this hotel is the people who work here. The front desk staff are great, always helpful and available. I had a problem with a package that needed to be shipped from the hotel and the staff really took care of it without any problems. Breakfast costs 14 Eur and it is fantastic. There are always snacks in the bar and nice places to relax. I had a really nice time at this hotel!

A really comfortable hotel. Large bedrooms, really quiet, clean, well equipped, really pleasant bathroom. I would recommend with no hesitation. We spent a really nice stay there. Not really downtown, but easy to walk throughout Bilbao. A really nice hotel.

Hotel was neat, comfortable and nice, the only thing I didn't really like was the fact that on website where we found it, it was listed as a hotel with parking. That was the main reason why we chose this hotel. At the place however we found out parking is full and we must find parking spots around (like on the street) available for free till 9 am next day. As in Bilbao city centre it's impossible to squeeze any, even tiniest car, we ended up paying through the nose for paid parking near. The hotel receptionist said for this price we shouldn't expect the parking... ;) Well as long as it's written on the booking site, I will expect the parking especially that I am not fully familiar with Spanish hotel prices. Regardless, apart from this issue the stay was pleasant !

Room lovely, clean, amazing shower, modern, comfy beds. Would highly recommend. A little out of the centre but in walking distance. Bilbao and this hotel are well worth a trip!
