Pretty standard cologne german restaurant. Good thing is they are pretty big, they serve Kölsch the traditional way, and they have a pretty good schnitzel and blood sausage. Service was fairly attentive, esp wrt Kölsch refills. Would recommend here to try cologne blood sausage. Caution against the pork knuckle...it's boiled instead of roasted so instead of a crunchy crust you get a hunk of gelatinous pig skin...order at your own risk.

It's an old, historical pub in the centre of Cologne. The owner is friendly and cheerful but as usual speaks little English. The woman is not approachable at all. Speaks no English and is very abrupt in her ways. Food was extremely salty, especially the sausage. Could it be they do this to make patrons thirstier and order more beer? I wonder. The beer is served in small 200ml glasses and every glass is about €3. Wouldn't go there again. I'm sure there are more genuine pubs around.

I really liked this place! The food wa see ally good. We went on a Tuesday and Tuesday is Schnitzel night. So I had a schnitzel with salad and it was simple and good. The Kölsch (local beer) was perfect. The atmosphere was really nice and felt really authentic to me: the kind way the waiter was teasing us really fitted to what I heard about colonians. It was really nice and for a really fair price. I highly recommend the place for an authentic colonian dinner!

We were there for team gathering. We rent the Kugelbahn at the basement for three hours. It was nice. I had mussels for dinner. It was just okay in my opinion. Just very simple salty garlic flavor. Nothing stunning or fascinating.

We were here today! The food we got was not good. The meat was dry, the soup was mediocre at best. The dessert was a bit better but still not up to the standard I expected. The service however were really nice, and the amosphere was typically German but could’ve been a bit nicer and more comfortable!

The Hotel Boulevard recommended us to this restaurant and we are so happy they did. It was wonderful from the moment we entered. Carlos was highly entertaining and gave us excellent service above and beyond. The beer was delicious and the food was very good too. Good prices. I wish I would have taken a few more pictures.

The dishes (Mettbrötchen, Schweinshaxe) were all somehow very salty 😫 The Schweinshaxe was also really dry ._. The skin wasn't crispy at all, but very chewy, which made it incredibly hard to cut the skin. Slowest & most inattentive Köbes I've ever encountered! They let us wait with our empty glass of Kölsch (see photo below), even when we called for them, they were too busy on their phones 😶

Been there quite a few times during lunchtime. Pretty good food, mostly traditional Cologne pub style, but definitely above average Quick service, and the kitchen always delivered fast and in perfection. This place is popular spring lunchtime, but you can always get a seat - maybe not outside, but there's plenty of room inside, too. Never been there in the evening, but definitely recommended for your lunchtime break. Oh, and of of course, they got Früh Kölsch, also without alcohol (from the bottle, though, only the regular one with alcohol is from the tap).

Had a really nice meal here, staff was super friendly. Seemed more like a beer bar but I can definitely recommend their homemade sausage!

We went with my sister-in-law who was visiting. It's our local so we have been a few times. Since being taken over by Früh it's changed in character but the beer is good, the (limited) menu is good and service is generally excellent. They don't stock gin!

Good pub with german food and home made beer. Here you can drink only one sort of beer, that is positioned like home made beer directly from barels but up to me is definitely not the best German beer I ever tried.

Black pudding is recommended! A bit expensive than other food places. English menu is available.

Great Brauhaus. Food is good, Kölsch is nice and the waiters are appropriately grumpy, just like a cologne restaurant should be. You can also bowl downstairs for a very reasonable price. Make sure to put your beer coaster on your glass or you will get another one. Best way to get kicked out is to praise Düsseldorf. All in all: It's how a Brauhaus in cologne should be.

Typical Cologne corner pub. Do recommend the experience! Also, check this out. The beer glasses are 200 ml. This way the beer stays fresh-er. Only in Cologne.
