When I go to Turkish Restaurants, I expect excellent customer service, friendly waiters and waitresses and top quality good. Eating at Anfora was disappointing and felt as if I am eating at a German Restaurant in Düsseldorf Altstadt. I didn't enjoy eating at Anfora. Extremely expensive food, small servings. The food quality was good but not wow. The waiters were not rude but not friendly either.

I recently visited a Turkish grill restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. While the food was decent, it was not exceptional and definitely not worth the high price tag. In fact, I found the overall cost of the meal to be quite expensive, given the quality of the dishes served. The menu offered a variety of traditional Turkish grilled meats and kebabs, but they lacked the flavor and tenderness that I was expecting. The portions were also relatively small for the price, which left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. Additionally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was not particularly inviting, with limited decor and a lack of ambiance. The service was adequate, but not particularly warm or attentive, which added to the overall mediocre experience. Overall, while the Turkish grill restaurant was not terrible, it was also not worth the high price point. The food was just okay and the atmosphere and service did not make up for the lackluster meal. I would not recommend this restaurant to others looking for a delicious and authentic Turkish dining experience.

Food and service is always amazing. Don't miss this spot in Düsseldorf if you are into traditional Türkisch kitchen. When I'm coming to this place, Mercimek is always in my startup menu. Adana Kebab is one of the favourite food here. In the end don't forget to have a Turkish tee with Bakhlava. You will end your cousy dinner with good feeling. :)

Not recommended at all. Very expensive restaurant with poor services. Staff is not welcoming. They tried to show that they are too busy. We had to wait a lot even to place our order. And then at the end, they took so much time to bring the card reader and let us pay the bills. All of this would be somehow acceptable if they behaved politely and in a welcoming way, which they simply didn't. I hope they read this and improve their behaviour with customers. Food was okay though.

The staff was extremely friendly and kind, they truly make you feel comfortable. The decoration is on point, and it is the perfect place to it and drink. Definitely recommended, thank you!

This place was ok. It has high ratings and I wanted to try a Turkish dish. I’m not big on lamb so I went with the sea bass. It was very good. Well prepared and not to dry. The salad that came with it was dressed with a balsamic and oil dressing that was really good. The service was,,, ok. I think since I was by myself they were not really interested in serving me. Once I finally got my order in it came quickly. I enjoyed the food but once I was complete it took a bit of time to take away the plates and then I had to ask for my check because the waited was just not paying attention to me. He went to the table next to me 3 times and never asked me if I needed anything, all the while my glass was empty. That was frustrating. They were very friendly though but don’t speak English. Overall the place was well taken care of, clean and friendly.

A super delicious fine dining experience in the Turkish cuisine. The plates had new taste flavors that isn’t common, they have a good balance between the ingredients and the overall delicious food. Service was very good, the staff were friendly. A bit pricy.

I was very impressed with the restaurant. The staff was quick and very friendly, helping us choose what we liked. The food was exquisite and plentiful. The interior was nicely decorated, having a wall full of records by turkish musicians and singers. Very nice place overall, highly recommended!

Very delicious Turkish food! We tried the lamb kebab and vegetarian stuffed aubergine, both are very tasty! The lamb are very tender, well spiced, and juicy while the stuffed aubergine is a bit crunchy while juicy at the same time. We tried it with the yogurt drink (Aryan) which is very suitable with these main course. The services are also superb, people are very friendly! A very nice location in the heart of Düsseldorf.

Absolutely one of the best Turkish restaurants in Düsseldorf.. Try some of the classics of Turkish cuisine pair well with raki: baked hummus with sucuk and cheese, roasted lamb, atom, etc..

Hands down the best Turkish food in Düsseldorf. Everything was freshly done with quality ingredients and delicious. The menu was vegeterian friendly and there is a quite lot to choose from, to experience Turkish kitchen. The staff was helpful, very kind and friendly. I would recommend the place to family’s also. Overall everything was amazing.
