On Christmas Eve, early in the morning, I went to the EVK because of an inflamed and very swollen thumb, which was already dark in color and extremely painful. After a short examination (eye examination), you are given a prescription for an unsuitable antibiotic and are sent away. There wasn't even a bandage! In the Marienhospital a few hours later there was a big alarm: shortly before necrosis. That was close. And it just can't happen, where else should you turn? You have to rely on the commitment and knowledge of the “experts” here.

The reception was well staffed and the staff were very friendly and competent. It was pleasantly empty for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. I had a bad earache and didn't have to wait 5 minutes for the ENT doctor. Unfortunately I forgot his name, but I would like to thank him again for his help. Ears cleaned, severe middle ear infection diagnosed, medication prescribed. Since I've never had an ear infection before, he took the time to explain everything to me calmly. Thank you very much for that. I felt like I was in excellent hands, any time again, it couldn't be better!

Is there an option to give minus stars? Because this is a complete catastrophe! It smells like some urine corner at the train station! The staff is lying! Tell me how long the system has been running the way it did here today. I've known this emergency room for 30 years! Of course I also know the moves. But to expect a sick patient in pain to check again beforehand to see whether anything has changed again is outrageous! Especially since I've been there several times with my children in the last 2 years! The rules are good, the system has changed, but you don't have to make us patients stupid and give us an announcement first! Before we are even asked how we are doing! Embarrassing EVK! And the statement that it's closed after 11 p.m. and that you should go to the family doctor the next day, because it's a hospital and you can only go to the hospital at that time if you have a heart attack... disgusting! Poor Germany.....

Emergency number recommended this branch. Very long waiting times. Some of the unresponsive doctors are just annoyed (yelling) and come after opening time around 9:20! Unfortunately not recommended. The ENT was relatively empty but disinterested and treatment after a 2.5 wait time should best go to the ENT on Monday. Partial treatment only upon request. No proper examination took place despite fever and inflammation. Better to look for something different. You can save yourself the partial treatment and the waiting time. Partly pointless

As in all emergency clinics, the waiting time is very long (especially on weekends). However, my mediocre rating is based on the fact that there is no ultrasound device available if you have problems with internal organs. I think that's the least a practice should have these days. So I wasn't the least bit wiser after the visit.

No matter whether with a child or myself. I have always been successfully treated in the emergency practice over the years. The medical staff were always very friendly and competent. The examinations and diagnoses were always very good and generally corresponded to those of my doctors during further treatment. I sometimes don't understand the bad reviews here, even after reading the text. Many people probably forget that it is only about initial emergency treatment and not about starting therapy. The waiting time varied greatly during my visits; it ultimately depends on the number of patients. Nobody can do anything about that.

At first I couldn't explain where all the bad reviews came from because I've been to the emergency service practice a few times when it was still on Florastraße and I've never had a bad experience there. But after my last visit I can totally understand this. It started with the unfriendly ladies at reception. I can understand that many people in medicine are overworked, but that is still no reason to treat other people like dirt. Well, there are often unfriendly reception staff, so that wasn't the biggest shock. The waiting time was actually really ok, just under an hour. However, the encounter with the doctor left me speechless. I have never met such an unfriendly doctor in my entire life. First tried to "advise" me about a problem that I wasn't there for and then suggested a solution to the problem that I was actually there for. When I wanted to use it, I was loudly complained about it and said that people always come "spoiled" just before they close, etc. If I had been there shortly before 11, that would have been completely understandable (but even then this tone would be absolute was inappropriate) but I was there an hour before they closed, so in the end I had no influence on the waiting time. Well, the end of the story was that she said bluntly that she would ask at the front whether the suggested test could still be carried out (WHICH ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS!!!) but no one seemed to want to carry it out anymore and I did was sent home again. By far the worst experience I have ever had in the medical field in Germany.

Due to a persistent fever that did not go down despite taking medication, I contacted 116117 where I was advised to go to the emergency room. When I arrived I was treated extremely rudely by the receptionist. She asked me why I was even here and advised me to see my family doctor instead. I was there on Sunday evening, and Monday is also a holiday! How am I supposed to visit my family doctor? At his home??? And when I said the lady at the patient portal 116117 told me I definitely had to come here, she replied: yes, they always exaggerate!!!

We were there with our 15 month old son who suddenly got a really bad cough late in the evening and had already had a cold beforehand. When we arrived at the reception we were greeted again in a very rude manner by the same slightly older lady and told us we were stupid cough didn't have to come and if so then next time at 8 p.m And not at 10 p.m. My husband was supposed to wait outside, but the pediatrician understood us and was friendly and explained everything to me in detail. We won't go there again unless absolutely necessary thanks to the lady at reception just making you feel unwanted and not understood.
