After
a
long
period
of
suffering,
my
severe
recurrent
depression
made
it
necessary
to
stay
in
the
hospital
again.
So
far
I
have
been
treated
2
times
as
an
inpatient
(2013
and
2016
-
each
in
a
psychotherapeutic
ward)
in
the
St.
Elisabeth
Hospital
in
Hattingen
Niederwenigern,
which
is
my
reference
point
as
a
rough
comparison.
I
was
in
good
hands
here
too.
This
time
I
decided
to
go
to
a
day
clinic
so
that
I
wouldn't
be
completely
torn
from
everyday
life
and
could
return
home
in
the
afternoon.
Depending
on
the
case
of
illness
and
life
situation,
this
can
have
advantages
or
disadvantages.
Everyone
has
to
weigh
this
up
personally.
I
was
treated
in
the
day
clinic
for
a
total
of
9
weeks
between
May
and
July
of
this
year.
I
decided
on
schema
therapy,
which
helps
to
recognize
critical
beliefs
and
behaviors
and
to
learn
new
coping
strategies.
This
helped
me
the
most:
-
A
very
attentive,
cordial
multi-professional
team
that
takes
patients
seriously
and
exchanges
and
cares
internally
and
lives
by
example
what
it
recommends
(mindfulness
and
self-care)
-
good
pharmacological
advice
-
Very
structured
therapy
plan
with
many
different
offers
(ergo,
movement,
relaxation,
schema
AG,
mindfulness,
art
therapy...)
-
a
diverse,
warm-hearted
group
of
fellow
patients
-
the
well-kept,
non-irritating
facility
of
the
clinic
(simple
furniture,
a
large
well-kept
garden,
clinic
walls
that
kept
the
heat
away
and
provided
security)
That
was
good
too,
but
not
really
that
important
for
me:
-
the
delicious
lunch
(always
remember:
it's
a
hospital
and
not
a
food
truck
festival
;-)
)
This
can
be
improved:
Due
to
holidays,
Corona
and
certainly
also
a
"crunchy"
personnel
key,
offers
have
often
failed.
This
of
course
happens
everywhere
where
people
work
and
is
normal.
I
would
like
to
see
more
staff
here
for
the
benefit
of
employees
and
patients
alike.
But
even
when
there
were
bottlenecks,
the
Fliedner
team
made
things
possible
and
worked
out
alternatives.
The
stay
helped
me
a
lot
and
I
am
grateful
for
the
support.
At
first
I
was
concerned
that
my
condition
was
already
too
acute
for
purely
day-clinic
treatment,
but
I
was
able
to
stabilize
quite
well
over
the
course
of
the
first
4
weeks,
so
that
inpatient
treatment
was
not
necessary.
I
can
fully
recommend
the
Fliedner
Clinic
in
Gevelsberg
with
its
professional
and
warm-hearted
team.

Nach
langem
Leidensdruck
hat
meine
schwere
rezedivierende
Depression
einen
erneuten
Klinikaufenthalt
nötig
gemacht.
Bislang
wurde
ich
2
mal
vollstationär
(2013
und
2016
-
jeweils
psychotherapeutische
Station)
im
St.
Elisabeth
Krankenhaus
in
Hattingen
Niederwenigern
behandelt,
was
also
mein
Referenzpunkt
als
grober
Vergleich
ist.
Auch
hier
war
ich
seinerzeit
gut
aufgehoben.
Ich
habe
mich
diesmal
für
eine
Tagesklinik
entschieden,
um
nicht
komplett
aus
dem
Alltag
gerissen
zu
werden
und
Nachmittags
heimkehren
zu
können.
Je
nach
Krankheitsfall
und
Lebenssituation
kann
das
Vor-
oder
Nachteile
haben.
Hier
muss
jeder
persönlich
abwägen.
Ich
war
zwischen
Mai
und
Juli
dieses
Jahres
für
insgesamt
9
Wochen
in
der
Tagesklinik
in
Behandlung.
Entschieden
habe
ich
mich
für
die
Schema-Therapie,
die
hilft,
kritische
Glaubenssätze
und
Verhaltensweisen
zu
erkennen
und
neue
Bewältigungsstrategien
zu
Erlernen.
Das
hat
mir
am
meisten
geholfen:
-
ein
sehr
aufmerksames,
herzliches
multiprofessionelles
Team,
das
Patient*innen
ernst
nimmt
und
sich
intern
gut
austauscht
und
kümmert
und
vorlebt,
was
es
empfiehlt
(Achtsamkeit
und
Selbstfürsorge)
-
gute
pharmakologische
Beratung
-
sehr
strukturierter
Therapieplan
mit
vielen
unterschiedlichen
Angeboten
(Ergo,Bewegung,
Entspannung,
Schema
AG,
Achtsamkeit,
Kunsttherapie…)
-
eine
vielfältige,
warmherzige
Gruppe
von
Mitpatient*innen
-
die
gepflegte,
reizarme
Einrichtigung
der
Klinik
(einfaches
Mobiliar,
ein
großer
gepflegter
Garten,
Klinikmauern,
die
die
Hitze
fernhielten
und
Sicherheit
gaben)
Das
war
auch
gut,
aber
für
mich
nicht
unbedingt
sooo
wichtig:
-
das
leckere
Mittagessen
(immer
dran
denken:
es
ist
ein
Krankenhaus
und
kein
Food-Truck-Festival
;-)
)
Das
kann
verbessert
werden:
Bedingt
durch
Urlaub,
Corona
und
sicherlich
auch
einem
„knackigen“
Personalschlüssel
sind
öfter
auch
mal
Angebote
ausgefallen.
Das
passiert
natürlich
überall
wo
Menschen
arbeiten
und
ist
normal.
Ich
wünsche
mir
hier
mehr
Personal
zu
Gunsten
der
Mitarbeiter*innen
und
Patient*innen
gleichermaßen.
Doch
auch
bei
Engpässen
hat
das
Fliedner-Team
Dinge
möglich
gemacht
und
Alternativen
erarbeitet.
Mir
hat
der
Aufenthalt
sehr
geholfen
und
ich
bin
dankbar
für
die
Unterstützung.
Anfangs
hatte
ich
Sorge,
dass
mein
Zustand
schon
zu
akut
für
eine
reine
tagesklinische
Behandlung
ist,
allerdings
konnte
ich
mich
im
Laufe
der
ersten
4
Wochen
ganz
gut
stabilisieren,
so
dass
keine
vollstationäre
Behandlung
nötig
wurde.
Ich
kann
die
Fliedner-Klinik
in
Gevelsberg
mit
ihrem
professionellem
und
warmherzigen
Team
uneingeschränkt
empfehlen.
