Initially I did not have a good impression of the clinic because I had to wait a long time after my scheduled appointment time. I think that the receptionists were stressed by the amount of people waiting. I do not speak German but luckily one of the receptionists can understand a bit of English. I had an appointment with Dr. Mann and he was friendly and spoke great English. I was happy that he was knowledgeable on transgender healthcare and immediately switched me to the hormone treatment I requested. I then had to wait longer for the treatment and blood test at the lab, but the nurse was one of the friendliest I've ever had and made the experience very positive for me. That is why I've decided to give 5 stars despite all the waiting. Thank you for the kind service!

I have been with Dr. for many years. Shahin patient and comes regularly for check-ups. I book my appointments online and it works smoothly. The practice is well organized despite the large crowds. Yes, the reception area is a bottleneck and there is a long wait... but the staff always do their best in a friendly manner. There are various waiting areas and I rarely had to wait longer to be called for an examination. You are always treated kindly in the laboratory. I can only recommend Dr Shahin, she examines me carefully and explains a lot and answers all questions, which is very important to me. I also find the solution with the telephone consultation of the findings very practical. Keep it up and thank you to the entire team for their hard work!

After waiting for two months for an appointment, I must say I should have taken these reviews more seriously. The all female staff is ferociously rude. I was basically refused to my insulin test today as the receptionist didn’t accept the two different types of masks I had with me.Instead of offering or selling the required mask she simply said I wasn’t accepted for that very important test due to my mask! Now they had people in the elevator and waiting areas wearing the same mask I had. The whole thing doesn’t make sense at all. As a result I called and got an appointment for next week at the leading doctor(best reviews here) in Frankfurt. So read carefully all the reviews here. A lot of unhappy patients

Good doctors. Its impossible to reach someone by phone and at the same time its impossible to make an appointment online - great system. I don't understand why they won't invest in hiring more people to do the work at the reception. this is bad for everybody.

not very quick appointments but worth the waiting, short waiting time in clinic, Dr. Lobjewski was very professional and responsible. Just the receptionist were NOT friendly and helpful!

I can only say positive things, I had an appointment with my daughter today. The receptionists were very nice as was the MFA who took my daughter's blood. A very great practice. The doctors there are all very competent and nice. I see Dr.schläger and am always happy to have an appointment with her. She is very friendly, competent, you can ask her anything and she explains everything to you very well. It is important that you can talk to her openly. E-mails are also answered quickly, no matter what you want to know. The practice is very large but still clean and well organized. Also a big compliment to the laboratory, where they have only had friendly and competent medical assistants. Hardly any waiting times. I can really only recommend the practice. Parking or reaching us by phone is a bit difficult but everything is doable 😉 You can also book appointments online 😉

I have been coming now for almost a year. They are pretty punctual and fine at the reception. The doctor I have been followed by during these months (Dr. med. Julia Schläger) is for me the best doctor in Frankfurt. She is speaks really good english, is polite, takes all the time to explain and listens to the patient, makes suggestions and lets you do everything necessary to feel comfortable. I felt cared - not taken for granted in this country. Thank you.

Spent 3 hours waiting on the phone to make an appointment on december first for march next year. Although calling at the required date and time - impossible to get an appointment. Apparently they gave away an entire month of appointments the time I spent waiting in the phone line that only holds a limited number of callers (I could not get in line with a second phone).

One star off for the incredibly long wait times for an appointment. However, once arrived I cannot understand the negative reviews. Staff was competent and friendly and Dr. Uihlein made a wonderful first impression as someone engaged and caring. The entire process from consul station, to examination, to lab work went very smoothly.

Two days before the appointment you simply canceled my appointment via answering machine without at least offering a new appointment. I wrote an email to arrange a new appointment. This was ignored, as were my countless calls. Very unprofessional. Definitely not recommended.

I would like to share my recent experience in this practice, which left me deeply disappointed. After waiting five months for an appointment, I unfortunately had to cancel it due to a gastrointestinal virus so as not to endanger others. When I asked for a new appointment, an employee offered me an appointment in another six months, and in an extremely unfriendly tone. I had two appointments here a few months ago. I came with a suspected diagnosis, which was confirmed by a blood test. The procedure and the team were very uncomplicated and nice. However, right from the start I didn't feel well cared for or advised during the consultation with the doctor. The previously completed anamnesis form was processed within 5 minutes, leaving no time to ask questions. The phone call with the doctor that was actually agreed to discuss the results did not take place. Instead, when I asked, I was sent a doctor's letter with a prescription, without any further explanation, advice or anything else. I felt left alone and fobbed off with my newly diagnosed illness. A good address for quick blood counts etc., but not recommended for actual treatment.

This practice is hard to beat! I properly made an appointment via 116117. According to 116117, I should have this confirmed by telephone the following day. Since the practice was probably overwhelmed or understaffed, the appointment could not be confirmed the following day. Unfortunately, the lady on the phone couldn't give me any information about when I should get in touch again. Since you spend quite a long time on hold when trying to reach the practice by phone, I agreed with the lady on the phone that I would send an email at the end of the week. Since I didn't receive any negative feedback on this, I assumed everything was fine. When I arrived at the practice, I was told that I didn't have an appointment for another 4 (!) months. 116117 is only allowed to make appointments within 5 weeks. There was no accommodation whatsoever. The blame was placed on 116117. I should contact the appointment office. Here people were quite annoyed by the practice's apportionment of blame. This was clearly rejected. The error clearly lies with practice, which is probably not able to Process emails properly. I now have no proof of an appointment for my employer. I'm also stuck with the parking and travel costs, not to mention the time required. I now have to continue to deal with my urgent concern until I can make a new appointment at another practice. I am deeply shocked and disappointed by the treatment of patients at the Frankfurt Endocrinology Clinic. A short email informing you that the appointment cannot take place or be confirmed would have been fair. This would have saved me a lot of stress and hassle and I would have been able to arrange another appointment in a timely manner.

I have been to the endocrinology clinic on average twice a year for over 13 years. Appointments are easy to book online, even if it takes a long lead time for an appointment, often 3 - 4 months. On site I rarely had to wait longer than 20 to 30 minutes for my appointment with the doctor, sometimes not even 10 minutes. The laboratory is usually quite full, especially at peak times - sometimes even overcrowded in the waiting area (sometimes standing room), depending on how well the department is staffed and how quickly things are moving. So far I have almost always found the employees to be conscientious and competent. The tests are extensive (I would have to pay a lot myself at the family doctor) and the employees in the laboratory can even deal with deep or rolling veins when taking blood. All in all, there are reasons why I've been making the annoying journey to the endocrinology clinic for so long - usually in the morning - even though the parking situation is inconvenient to expensive (including finding a parking space, the journey often takes 1.5 hours). I have always been treated well in the endocrinology clinic!

I can only say good things, especially about the children's registration. Unfortunately, I can't praise the registration on the ground floor. Waited an hour to get blood drawn several times

I am having such a good experience with them and I really highly recommend this endocrinologist.

Beware of fake bills, false appointments, non-required blood tests! I was given appointment to discuss the problems with doctor and the doctor went for vacation. I received wrong bills and nobody actually takes the responsibility of such nonsense. The reception staff assures to send the blood test reports by email but never keep their words.

We have been traveling from Sauerland to Frankfurt for 5 years now, every 6 months. We are very satisfied and the good care has taken away many of our fears and worries. Everyone is very nice and you feel very well looked after!
