Went for a romantic weekend and it was delightful. We snagged a great deal which included breakfast and dinner (non-alcoholic drinks were also included). Gluten free options were made available and the restaurant staff was very helpful and kind about it. The entire staff was top notch at every level, spa area and rooms are modern and sleek. The outlets close by were also a fun way to spend a few hours. Go, relax and enjoy the excellent service and atmosphere.

OK staff very business like. Thought it would be really romantic to stay in a castle but it was very sterile, self service breakfast very unpleasant. Rooms really nice but bed very uncomfortable sorry would not stay there again.

The castle looks beautiful when seen from far. But as I went nearer and inside the gates, I was hugely disappointed to see such a beautiful historic place been totally destroyed and converted into a hotel with modernized buildings and reception area around. I felt really sad to see the charm being lost

Beautiful estate turned hotel/business center. Halfway between Cologne and Frankfurt. Great spot to experience the lovely German countryside. Went to the Christmas Market in Koblenz, about a 30 min drive. Loved the home town feel, the food and drink. My hotel room was small, think 13th century university dorm room, but they have larger rooms. OK for me since I am small people and you're only in your room to sleep. Everthing in the room & shower was clean and well ordered. Staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English. Breakfast buffet is delicious.

Nice place with professional staff and nice conference rooms. The area is also quite nice and offers some. Nice opportunity for biking and hiking.

Great setting with nice views. My room was a bit small, but was clean. Buffet meals at the restaurant were very good as well.

Lesson learned, given good fitness and agility possibly a nice place. Experiencing any mobility issues - best avoided. Its more of a campus than a hotel. Many different buildings connected by steep pathways that were not properly cleared of snow. Customer service from the staff was a far cry from some excellently managed hotels I was lucky enough to visit.

Rooms are clean and cosy. From my room 660 you can see whole Montabaur, the view is pleasant.

This hotel is mostly booked for conferences and stay for employees. Stayed here on one such occassion and I must say the view from top is wonderful as is the service. The rooms are super clean and the lunch snd dinner buffet was delicious with variety if veg snd nonveg menu. Would definitely visit again😊

We just spent a two night stay over the weekend. Great arrival, reception staff switched on, made our check in a breeze. The room is modern, with a nice design, bathroom and toilet separate by part see through glass. Love the remote control to either harden or soften your mattress automatically. Awesome. WiFi signal is acceptable. There is no in-room coffee and tea maker, but on the G/F there is a working coffee station with tea bags to avail from. Great underground parking. Restaurant service and food is sublime, a gourmet paradise with so much to offer including organic foods. Likewise the hot food items are outstanding. The Spa is pleasant, love the large pool and the relaxation room with waterbeds. Sauna is small but well maintained. Overall we had a great experience. Two side observations, while understanding that the majority of guests are German speaking, the printing or digital displays in room and around the property could include English, and second if one book over an internet booking site, there isn't any mention that the room cleaning is only scheduled after a third night of stay, except outlined and explained on their official website in German language only. Confusing to say the least.

We booked via personight, but we called to get informed about availability and facilities as we have a baby. The front desk didn’t informed us they book us the worse ever room which is not in Hotel category at all. No air conditioner, no view. The bed was so uncomfortable, the service didn’t clean the room, dirty towels, the soap was empty. They knew we have a baby but the room was underground with no elevator and smells exhaust smoke as the window opened to the parking lot. I never know such thing is allowed! As we friendly ask front desk to change the room she was so rude and didn’t want to help at all. Well this hotel definitely ruined our weekend.
