Great location for tourist when visiting the national park. We parked there for a decent price rate. From here you can get some nice panorama views of the park. You do require a bit of a decent physique though when going down into the park over the bridge.

First time here was1966.. Built a "Heavy Ferry" with the R. E. on the lake... Visited again in 1974 on exercise... Great place but at the time there were conflicting views regarding its history and past uses. Would love to visit again and take 'the tour'

I came here as a soldier during my military service so was little bit disappointed now that it has become a tourist attraction. Still has a lot of history but beware of your physical condition , a lot of stairs , it's in the mountains on many levels

A place that touches the heart. It shows how bad war and extreme views are. May it never come back and let our children live without armed conflicts. Children are always the biggest loser. It's worth going there, lots of artifacts from WWII. Our rating is 6/6 honorable. Greetings from Poland.

The museum is only in German. They lend tablets with translations of the legends, but you spend much more time typing in numbers than actually reading. This German-centric design is an odd choice given the historical context…

A fantastic museum, aside from the very somber and ominous history that shrouds then entire Ordensburg Vogelsang facility. Deeply disturbing history but you can learn about how it came to be, who was involved, what happened there and ultimately how it all came crumbling down inside their museum. It's €8 for an adult ticket but well worth the price with all of the well curated content and multimedia exhibits. I spent 1.5 hours exploring the exhibit but I don't think there is much more than 2 hours worth of content to see. A warning though, all of the information text in the museum is in German. So if you are an English speaker, make sure to ask for a text/audio guide when buying a ticket. This will let you put in a 4 digit code for each exhibit and follow along in your language. Make sure to tour around the grounds on foot after to see the different buildings for yourself and all of the bullet holes on the massive statue at the Solstice circle.

A very interesting museum and suitable for families with small kids. The information u hear on the device are short and interesting. Free parking is available and there is also an affordable restaurant.

Interesting premise but to our dismay the entire premises has been renovated to a pretty modern style. With government funds as well which is strange because the parking and the underwhelming exhibits were quite expensive for what they were.

I can recommend the guided tour. We did the tour for Dutch speakers, which was guided by somebody who was stationed for over 15 years on the Vogelsang IP. He did have a lot of knowledge of the history and also had some great anecdotes from the time he was stationed there.

A must see. The site itself is beautiful, the place has a stunning view and is huge. Walking around is really interesting already but the expo on National Socialism deserves a visit. It's well explained and helps understanding the (lack of) organisation of the party (although its pride was organisation!) and the effort to create people who would be able to carry out gruesome tasks without flinching. The abundance of info makes it quite comprehensive yet you can focus on one aspect rather than another (audioguides) several videos or audios as well as documents from 1930 1940s give you a good grasp of how the small group of anti democratic extremists took power and used it to satisfy their own agenda. scary!

A ghostly relic of german 2. world war history, situated in a gorgeous natural park. Nice biking and walking paths.

Impressive! 2 nice museums, one about the history of Vogelsang, one about the animals of the Eifel.

Interesting historical place with great view points. The parking lot is 5 €!!! The museums are just entertainment for kids. The restaurant is an expansive cantine, but tasty.

The buildings itself are interesting but not that spectacular imo. The exhibition on the history is interesting.

Not really weelchair friendly so we could only see some outer parts with our two kids. Also you can't use Maestro debit or credit cards so make sure you have cash with you (although they were more than friendly to solve any paying issues). The restaurant was great, good food for a fair price.
