Petra L. (Translated by Google) All people are equal. But some are the same. Reception was friendly and approachable. At first I was isolated due to the possibility of Covid. Nursing staff was friendly and dedicated. Meanwhile diagnosed pneumonia. Good medical care. I was then transferred and experienced very unpleasant things. My roommate, Ms. N., is a clinic employee with friends on the ward and around the house. visiting regulations? Doesn't apply to her. Ms N. has a special position. At 7:00 a.m. the first visit came with coffee, and it went on like that for the whole day. Colleagues from all over the house gave each other the handle and then sat in the room without a mask until they were alternated by the next maskless visit. As a patient with severe pneumonia, I needed rest. My friend with a long journey was turned away because she came out of time. Ms. N. had her events in the hospital room while I was trying to sleep. Apart from that, it would be bad for me if I got Covid on top of the severe pneumonia. Dying is also an option. I complained, which caused me to fall out of favor with some of Ms N's 'friends'. Up to this point I was still willing to talk and made that clear. But then I was told that I should take out private insurance if it didn't suit me. That made me bitter. A bottomless cheek. I was given another room, but also felt a clear rejection. Very unprofessional as I am not the root of the problem. This is obvious if you want to look. At the same time, there are also the nursing staff on the ward who are absolutely professional and do a very good job that deserves respect. Unfortunately, these professionals have to suffer from such incidents and poor station management, which is unfair. Petra L

(Translated by Google) I was in the gynecology ward for 6 weeks, was in contact with the team of midwives every day, and then my child was in the children's intensive care unit for another 2 weeks. Except for the classic hospital food, which you can always complain about and the Corona visiting rules, I can only report positive things. The entire medical team, the chief physician Dr. Kern, all the nurses, midwives and pediatric nurses, the physiotherapists, the baby guide and psychologists are extremely competent. I felt that I was in good hands throughout and can only recommend all stations. I can only recommend everyone - whether pregnant with or without complications - to give birth at Elli. However, the corona rules make the state of mind more difficult and there should be exceptions, especially with the Neo, so that you should be able to see your child at all times without having to coordinate with other families.

The treatment itself was great! The treated doctor was very friendly and understood a lot of fun. Danke für alles ❤ (Translated by Google) So many women who are currently pregnant and need help are also helped there. Unfortunately too few staff because there is no one. Therefore somewhat longer times. But all the nurses, midwives and doctors are really doing their best in these difficult times and you can tell. Great team. Great hospital. I gave birth there for the second time via KS and would do it there again at any time. Thanks for everything ❤

I was in the hospital for ear canal plastic surgery, so I only know the ENT department. Doctors and nursing staff are very nice and helpful. In my opinion, the operation itself was carried out professionally and routinely. The daily visit does not take place in the patient's room but in the doctor's office with waiting times in the hallway. No free parking possible, not even for patients. Eating is like that, not very flexible. You would like some processes to be more digital (the employees probably do too). WiFi but good :-).

Sehr unfreundliches personal. Solche Mitarbeiter sollte man Kündigen!

Our daughter was born here via a planned cesarean section. I had a wonderful birth. All doctors, midwives, nurses, office and canteen workers are very friendly and helpful. Due to the low room capacity and the high birth rate in August, we didn't have a family room and everyone was pretty overloaded, so I was released early. My decisions to have a cesarean section and not breastfeed were 100% respected, and I am very grateful for that too. With a family room I would choose this hospital again.

(Translated by Google) Gynecology with its "award winner" Dr. The core is simply underground. One has never heard of customer orientation there. Not a single seat for patients and accompanying persons who are allowed to wait in front of the entrance in the cold and rain.

Deswegen 5 Sterne! (Translated by Google) All the people I met in this hospital were very nice to me and I also got the impression that the staff were nice to each other. In my experience, this is not the case in every hospital. In addition, I was treated well from a medical point of view. Therefore 5 stars!

Even though I had an appointment they did not let me in at first then i showed my appointment e mail then they let me in. I had an appointment at 9 am and till 9.45 a.m. to the doctors office and then i gave up. It supposed to be just a quick test for HIV. They did not help me at all even though i was an expat and cannot speak the german language well. They were aggressive. I did not know where to wait or so. This place was the worst place at all. You guys can go somewhere else to get tested bc its not a free place. They ask for your insurance or so. If you dont have any cannot go in. I wish there was a -1 point to give them.

(Translated by Google) Very poor ENT medical care, constantly changing, stressed doctors. The chief physician treated my ear himself once in 8 days. Admission ambulance unfriendly and waiting times of several hours if there is little traffic. Many thanks to the great care team at Ward 6, always friendly and helpful. The lady in patient admission 2 (office) was also very friendly. (Original) Sehr schlechte HNO-ärztliche Betreuung, ständig wechselnde, gestresste Ärzte. My son was examined here in June 2023 and operated on in September 2023 (polyps and tonsils reduced in size). He was fine for 2 months, then relapsed. After days of back and forth, I was told on Friday that this treatment would no longer be offered because there was a lack of capacity. I feel sorry for the children who have to suffer from having to wait months for appointments...

Immediately after birth at Augusta Hospital, our son was transferred to the neonatology unit at St. Elisabeth. From the first second we felt very warmly looked after. The nurses on the NEO ward in particular are absolute everyday heroes given their work! We are so grateful to all of you that we were able to take home a healthy baby thanks to you!

Chaos pur! Und was passiert? Richtig, nichts. Keine Untersuchungen, keine Informationen. Und was soll man sagen?

I was there with my son on an emergency basis from Sunday to Monday and the doctor who treated me said right at the beginning of the conversation “what is so important that you have to come to the emergency room now”? It was already clear to me that this would not be a good diagnosis. That's how it was, my child was crying because of the pain, he couldn't swallow anymore and his throat was so bright red that I could even see it. It was said to be a “cold”. The next morning I went straight to our pediatrician who immediately said that he was in constant pain for a short time because he had streptococci. So the trip to the Kh is simply no longer worth it, you are constantly being deported again as quickly as possible. It's incomprehensible why you would do an emergency service when you tell people that you don't feel like it.

Worst hospital, mismanagement. Ive an operation but they didn't inform me that I can not eat 8 hours before the operation. They tell me in the operation theatre and cancel the operation. And I also have extremely bad experience during my baby delivery. It was Sunday. I was dying in pain. They said they have no hebamme, no doctor, no free room for delivery. I was almost dying and begging them for a doctor.

(Translated by Google) On October 29th, 2022 our son was born in the Elisabeth Hospital. We were completely satisfied. (Translated by Google) I went to the St. Elisabeth Clinic for sinus surgery. For me, the stay in the clinic was very pleasant. It is examined very carefully and conscientiously. The doctors always took the time to answer questions and / or concerns. The nursing staff on the ward always tries to make the patient as comfortable as possible. Once again, a huge thank you to the team at ENT station 4. There you feel comfortable as a patient and can regenerate in peace. For me a total of 5 stars.

(Translated by Google) I was there to have my eardrum patched. The day of the preliminary examination dragged on, but otherwise I was completely satisfied! The entire nursing staff was extremely nice, competent and helpful and always told me what was going to happen next. They have come up with a clever sticker system so that, especially in times of Corona, nobody enters a station they don't belong to. Walking routes were also laid out in the operating theater, who has to go where and when, depending on where they come from. The medical advice was good and the operation went smoothly. I was positively surprised by the quality of the food! If I have to have an ENT operation again, I will go here.

Panic attacks in the toilet seem to be accepted here!! The frequency with which men simply barge into the women's room and use it instead of going into the men's room *right* next door is an imposition!! The installation of additional pictograms for non-German-speaking visitors who may not be able to identify the words "ladies" or "gentlemen" is either too expensive for the house or no one cares about it! There have been complaints about this several times... I'm there a lot these days because my aunt is in the ward, and this week alone it happened **3 times** (!!)! My daughter (14) came running to me today when we were there, completely upset because she was probably frightened by a swearing, older man while she was sitting in the cabin. As a woman you get a heart attack and panic every time! You can't even seem to feel comfortable in the toilet here. Incomprehensible....

Immediately after birth at Augusta Hospital, our son was transferred to the neonatology unit at St. Elisabeth. From the first second we felt very comfortable, safe and in good hands here and especially with all the doctors and all the lovely nurses. A stay here is never nice for a parent, but I still have fond memories of the great team at the entire station. Not only was our son wonderfully looked after at all times, but also me as a mother. The doctors in charge always took a lot of time to explain everything to us in detail and made us feel good and safe at all times. We are so grateful to all of you that we were able to take home a healthy baby thanks to you!

I came to the clinic at night as an emergency with the diagnosis epistaxis nasi. My wife and I couldn't stop the nosebleeds and the blood pressure reached 210mmHg. I can only say positive things here. The doctor who admitted me and the entire staff were very understanding, friendly, helpful and courteous. This also applies to the night nurse, who always had an open ear and time for me. All of my questions were answered during my 4-day stay, all the nurses in ward 6 ENT were always friendly and helpful, so I can really recommend this ENT ward with a clear conscience. The only point of criticism: the private rooms are very, very spartan and the food wasn't particularly good for me (and no, I'm not spoiled). In fact, it's always about the medical treatment and care and that's absolutely top notch in this hospital. We should thank these people much more and more often than just standing on balconies clapping during Corona times.

Had a mini surgery with dr. Schulte-Mattler at Elisabeth Hospital Bochum this morning due to my piercing problems. he's SUPER! very knowledgeable, quick to act, gentle, encouraging, and very humorous too (not to mention, perfect English). cannot ask for a better HNO. i recommend him to everyone! the nurses and administration staff are also very nice, though the receptionist at the HNO are kind of annoying. overall, very impressed with the doctor!

I've been afraid of a nose operation for decades, but about 1.5 years ago I could hardly breathe and asked for an operation. Appointment in Bochum tried. In the first conversation at the ENT clinic I was told that my nose would probably have to be broken. In the second conversation I was told that this would not be necessary. 2 days before the operation I had a very irritating consultation. Tomorrow at 8 a.m. a doctor explained to me that my nose had to be broken and explained to me with drawings what should be done. I then had to wait about 7 hours because he couldn't take photos of the nose. The battery was not charged. After about 7 hours the photos were to be taken and another doctor wanted to speak to me again. She explained to me that the nose would not be broken, but only the septum and the wings of the nose would be operated on. I was very nervous before the operation because these preliminary discussions were very worrying. No doctor came after the operation. The next day only the tamponades were removed. I was released on the third day. Today is my first follow-up appointment. I should be here at 8.15am. But the doctor is in the operating room. This is the third time I've been to the ENT clinic and I've been waiting for the doctor for at least 5 hours. I have the feeling that the hospital doesn't care how long a patient waits here. I'm now very excited to see what was done with my operation. I haven't had a chance to speak to the doctor yet. I don't feel like I'm in good hands here. My breath is worse than before the operation and I'm now obviously waiting for 5 hours in the waiting room of the ENT clinic with a completely crusty, runny nose that I'm not allowed to clean. Nobody has ever been able to explain to me why patients have to wait 5 hours despite an appointment. My friend had surgery here and was satisfied. However, he is privately insured.

I felt very well looked after in the hospital. I can now only speak of the ENT department - whether in the ENT outpatient clinic, the nurses on ward 5, the anesthetist, the operating room nurses, everyone else in the operating room. Everyone was super nice and warm to me. I had tonsil surgery on Friday last week. After the operation you were given as much water ice cream as you wanted. (Rescuer) The food in the hospital was also great. I really can't complain and thanks again to everyone. ♥️
