We
stayed
at
the
Moxy
Essen
to
visit
the
Christmas
markets,
and
the
hotel
itself
ended
up
being
even
more
of
a
highlight
of
our
stay.
Every
staff
we
interacted
with
were
very
friendly,
always
pleasant
and
willing
to
help
with
any
questions
we
had.
From
check
in
to
inquiries
about
our
room
bill
at
the
end,
they
were
always
responsive
and
looked
to
make
our
stay
perfect.
The
lobby
has
a
really
fun
design.
One
of
the
evenings
it
poured
rain
and
we
needed
to
wait
it
out.
Fortunately
from
the
great
bar
service,
stylish
design
of
the
area
to
lounge,
as
well
as
various
board
and
table
games
(Ping
pong
and
Fuseball),
we
enjoyed
ourselves
and
we're
in
no
rush
to
leave
when
the
rain
finally
died
down.
Prices
on
drinks
were
reasonable
for
a
hotel
bar.
Also
each
morning
the
breakfast
buffet
offered
a
great
selection
of
options.
The
coffee
machine
was
ok.
Maybe
not
the
best,
but
considering
it
is
available
most
of
the
day
for
use,
I
can't
complain.
The
rooms
were
modern
and
comfortable.
Even
though
our
room
wasn't
the
biggest,
they
do
a
good
job
of
maximizing
it
with
space
saving
solutions,
and
the
unique
decor
was
nice
too.
Bed
was
comfy
and
bathroom
shower
was
great!
Even
had
a
proper
shower
door
which
kept
water
from
leaking
out.
This
is
not
typical
in
most
of
Europe
where
a
minimal
glass
panel
and
drain
in
the
middle
of
the
floor
seems
the
most
used
technique,
so
this
was
a
major
upgrade
from
that
in
my
eyes!
The
only
items
of
say
they
may
want
to
look
into
was
the
tv
streaming
feature
did
not
work,
and
also
the
motion
sensor
lights
under
the
bed
were
a
bit
tricky
to
figure
out
at
first.
An
option
to
turn
this
feature
off
may
be
nice
for
some.
Both
are
very
minor
details
though.
The
Christmas
markets
were
fun,
but
overall
it
was
the
Moxy
Essen
that
made
our
stay
memorable.
I'd
definitely
recommend
it!
